Mari let out a sigh of relief before grinning. "Good, because I was going to make you drag me out," she giggled before flicking a bit of water up at him. "And take your time, because just know I'm gonna sit there," she teased lightly to him before shaking her head. She could tease, of course, she could, so this was more than alright. She'd never 'just sit there' unless she was told to. She wriggled away from him after a moment and went back to laying on her back as she floated. "Float with me while you think," she giggled lightly.

Sage chuckled lightly and rolled his eyes at the girl's comment. "Well, if that doesn't make me want to grab you and yank you around in play, I don't know what would," he teased her lightly. But she was comfortable, so he repressed the urge to do so. He chuckled and slid down next to her though, when she asked, happily taking her hand as they floated around on top of the waves. He closed his eyes, letting the sun warm his skin. It did feel nice.

Mari couldn't help her childish grin when he took her hand, and gave him a small squeeze. "Sage, you just really confused me but I'm just gonna go with it," she chuckled lightly to the boy. She closed her eyes as the sun rushed over her, the waves gently lapping her hands and legs as they floated along. She hummed softly to him before shaking her head. "I love you," she eventually whispered after about ten minutes. She'd been cincire now, although they'd previously been joking about. It was a bit random, but hey, it was true and he had just been telling her to find other ways to tell him her undying love for him.

Sage chuckled lightly at the girl's first comment, then looked over at her when she spoke up a few minutes later. He was a little confused as to why she'd suddenly just popped that in, but he certainly wasn't complaining. "I love you too," he murmured back, letting himself drift closer to the girl so their sides were touching as they floated about. Eventually, though, the waves pushed them back up onto the sand, and he sat up with a slight sigh and yawn. It had been nice, laying with his eyes closed in the sun, but it was getting later in the day by then... certainly past lunchtime, and now that he thought about it, he was quite hungry. "why don't we go get something to eat," he hummed to Mari, really hoping she'd agree to going inside and drying off and getting some food.

Mari gave a sleepy smile back to him, looking more than pleased with the comment. It was random, she knew that, but what was wrong with that? She could tell him how much she loved him whenever she so pleased. He was her husband for a reason, was he not? She was was warm... comfortable. Happy. So when they they landed on the sand eventually, she hummed quietly at his comment. She smiled, though and ran her hand through her hair before nodding. "Yeah, let's go," she whispered before forcing herself to stand up, taking his hand and waddling towards the house quietly.

Sage was more than content to lay there until they'd decided to go get into some dry clothes and food. "Let's stop at the room and get dry clothes first," he hummed lightly, kneeling to grab his shirt and now empty basket that they'd left on the beach before padding after Mari happily, fingers entwined with hers. "Then we can make lunch together," he added on. They were back at their room soon enough, and he grabbed a dry pair of pants and boxers to throw on, and shook his shirt out before putting that back on and tossing the wet clothes in the corner before looking over to see if Mari was ready by then.

Mari nodded tiredly to him and padded along next to him. It was still fairly early in the day, but all the same, the sun had worn her out a tiny bit. She would be fine, though. They'd gotten to their room soon enough, and she'd quickly gotten herself changed into something that actually belonged to her before smiling to Sage and padding back over to him and wrapping her arms snuggly around him. "Let's go," she mumbled quietly to him before taking his hand and gently padding back out towards the kitchen... it'd been a while since they'd cooked with one another, so this would be nice.

Sage hummed lightly when he felt Mari's arms around his waist and leaned into her for a moment before untangling himself from her grip and taking the hand she offered him happily. He padded along next to her quietly, content to just be with her. They hadn't had a chance to cook together in a while, so this would be nice. Then after lunch, maybe they could go take a nap or something....Mari definitely seemed like she could use a day of rest, and he certainly wasn't opposed to it.

Mari padded along, though they soon enough reached the kitchen, and she let go of his hand and had a look through the place. "Do you waaant... firckedelas?" She asked with a cocked head. They could make some up in no time, she was sure. "Or something quicker?" She then asked with a slightly cocked head and a bit of a hum. She didn't mind. They both seemed a little bit... weary to say the least.

Sage hummed in thought and shrugged after a moment. "Something quickish and easy," he decided. "We can bring it back to the room and have a lazy day meal," he chuckled. "You look exhausted and I'm not much more awake than you are," he admitted in a tone laced with amusement. He didn't really care what they made...he just wanted food to eat and a nice quiet, private place to eat it with his wife. That wasn't so much to ask, now was it? He thought not.
