Mari rolled her eyes at him. She'd never hurt Sage, but if she did do anything, she was sure the old man would absolutely berate her... if Sage didn't first, that is. She then huffed out a breath to him. "I know our child is wonderful," she mused to him. "So why do I have to have the mom glare... oh, don't tell me I'm bound to being the mean parent!" She complained to him with a childish looking frown. She knew Sage wanted to be a good parent... his own hadn't been amazing, but surely that didn't mean she had to be the mean one, did it? She didn't want their child to resent her. She then frowned at him. "I am not!" She retorted with a bit of a chuckle. But, yet again, she absolutely was. When he made his comment she chuckled to him. "Noo not now you lost your sexy voice," she teased to him with him. When he tightened his grip on her, she grinned and pecked bis lips. "Yeahh, for some reason," she mused lightly.

Sage chuckled lightly and shrugged. "Mom glare applies to all aspects of life," he chirped. "Dad glare kinda doesn't," he mused with amusement. Then he hummed lightly and shook his head, pecking her on the forehead. "Oh please, no one could ever think of you as a mean person," he huffed lightly. Then he nodded. "you absolutely are," he chirped, his grin widening at her other comment. "So if I just talk like this you'll think I'm always especially sexy then," he teased her lightly, purposely lowering his voice and roughing it up a bit. It was really just to mess with her, though if something did happen, he certainly wouldn't mind. "I'm not sure why either, but I won't complain," he chirped in response to her last comment.

Mark gave a huff of air to him. "Well now it does. Though, you don't glare at people... you just look bitterly at them and hope you scare them off," she mused lightly. It was just a tease, but she could certainly afford to do it. "But then don't call it a mom glare if it's to everyone!" She told him, her voice teasingly scolding. Though, she did understand. She huffed out a breath to him. "They will think I'm mean if I have to tell them off all the time!" She then retorted, an admittedly slightly worried look across her face - though it wasn't overly concerned. She just didn't want to always have to be the one doing the harder parenting. She just scoffed at his next comment. "Whatever you say, Sage," she told him with a chuckle. She grinned at his teasing and gave a bit of a nod. She gently ran her hand down the side of his face at the voice he was putting on and smiled happily. "Yeah... just like that," she told him with a giddy sounding chuckle.

Sage chuckled lightly and grinned over to the girl. "it works, doesn't it," he mused happily. Then he pecked her forehead reassuringly. "Don't worry ...well be good parents together," he hummed lightly. "And you don't have it in you to be a mean parent...just a good one," he hummed. "Besides, Silas is a good kid," he pointed out happily. Then he giggled when she ran her hand down his face and grinned over at her. "good," he purred. (No worries!) The girl just huffed out a breath. Well... she supposed it did work. It was also pretty hot to have a husband that could actually scare someone off with so much as s look, even if he was just a big goof when they were alone. It was just the fact that she knew he could do that... something about it was very attractive, and she couldn't figure out why, exactly. She smiled at his little peck, a small hum escaping her. She did hope so... she wanted to be nothing but the best for Silas. She knew they'd never be able to afford fancy things and excessive luxuries... but they'd give him a good life. He'd never have to go through what her or Sage had. Especially now what Sage had gone through. She knew they'd do everything they possibly could for this child, and any more they decided to have. "I know, I know," she hummed to him in a more gentle tone before pecking his lips once more. "He is a good kid, isn't he? I think we just got lucky... he's so calm," she stated with a small smile before glancing up at Sage once more, his purr catching her slightly off guard... they'd been messing around a bit, just teasing on another, but she really didn't mind the slight leap. "Oh, and why is that so good for you?" she joked lightly. He already had a naturally deeper voice, on the rougher side too, and she could listen to him talk all day about lepricorns if she had to... and there wouldn't be a moment of that she wouldn't like. Buuut, it was fun to tease like this, and about this sort of thing, too.

Sage hummed lightly and nodded. "He's perfect," he chirped. Then he chuckled. "He got that from you I think," he hummed lightly. Then he pretended to hum in pretend thought before sticking his face close to Mari's and grinning widely. "Because the looks you give me make me feel good," he hummed, sort of quoting her when she'd said she wanted to make him feel good the day or two prior. He was still just messing around, but it was true all the same.

Mari wrinkled her nose at him... she was anything but perfect, but it was nice to hear that he thought she was... that child, however, was absolutely perfect. From his little squeals of happiness, to his little button nose and huge brown eyes, he was the best of both of them, and he was, as a result, perfect. Absolutely perfect. She couldn't wait to see the kind of person he'd grow into... what he'd do and achieve in his life. She looked back to Sage when he was suddenly in her gave, looking a little bit shell shocked but soon a sly smirk crossed her face. She hummed thoughtfully for a moment before gently shaking her head, her hand running from the side of his face and down his chest. She looked down at where her hand was resting on his chest, and smiled softly before looking up at him through her lashed, a more pouty smiled across her face now. "What kind of looks," she question with a small giggle. "

Sage couldn't help but chuckle at the girl as her hand trailed down onto his chest. He hummed lightly in response to her question, cocking his head slightly. "How about that one, for starters," he mused lightly. "Hungry ones," he added with a slight purr. The line her hand had gone down seemed to burn, I'm a good way, and his heart had definitely sped up. Now he was determined to start something, though he wasn't at all sure why....though she had been teasing all morning, and now he was very awake, to say the least.

Mari furrowed her brows at him briefly before shaking her head. "Hungry looks?" She asked in a rather innocent tone. She knew what he meant... they both did, but she could play stupid for a little while, could she not? There was nothing wrong with that. She wasn't sure if he actually wanted to start something or jus mess about, so she'd start here, like she always did. "The one I'm giving you now... is making you feel good? How?" The girl asked with her what has become very signature pout. "Although, I'm sure I'm not giving you any kind of look that's out of the ordinary," she told him with a soft huff of air, but moved to press her lips lightly against his, though it was more drawn out this time.

Sage chuckled lightly at the girl's play at innocence and cocked his head slightly, eyes twinkling. "Well, now it changed," he hummed lightly. "Now you're pouting and trying not to smile the entire time again," he teased her lightly. He hummed happily when she pressed her lips to his, eyes glinting as he eyed her. "And your kisses say more than your little game of innocence," he purred happily. He was being serious, yes, but he was also still playing around a bit.
