Malakai Negri - Malakai smiled and watched her move to get comfortable. Kai shook his head. "No, not yet," he sighed. He wanted to find out who shot him just as much as she did. Kai could also tell she was getting pretty homesick. "Cam?" he hummed softly, "Do you ever think we can get back to who we used to be?"

Camery Valatieri - Camery let out a soft breath when he said they'd found nothing yet. It was scary they were still in a building where someone could do something like this to him. They must have really wanted to hurt him. "Well, are they doing anything? Questioning people?" She asked curiously. She looked up when he said her name, her brows pinching together at the question. She wanted to. She wanted to get back to how they'd started off. She missed him. But she couldn't forgive being lied to like that, even if she knew there was a good reason for it. But, now... she'd spent the last few days with him. They'd argued, yes, but they were getting along just fine now. She looked down for a moment, playing with the blanket over his legs. "I think we can," she murmured softly. "With... time," she murmured softly.

Malakai Negri - Malakai nodded. "That and looking at security footage," he explained. Kai had been questioned on what he'd seen, but that wasn't much help. Kai nodded, his eyes soft. "I'll wait as long as you need... I'll always be here for you," he promised her. It was true. Kai wasn't moving on from her, not now, not ever.

Camery Valatieri - Camery nodded gently. It had been dark... she wasn't sure if you could see anything at all. She didn't know any of these people, but she did know she was the one people were the most suspisous of, especially since she was day kingdom. They had wanted her to come down to be questioned a good two... maybe three times now. She had to go down later that day, too. "If they even see anything. I have to go back down there tonight to be 'interviewed'," she huffed. Camery looked up at him for a moment. He always managed to word these things just right. She never felt rushed into anything... all he'd asked for was a chance, and she was willing to give that to him. She let out a soft breath after a moment when he said he'd wait, and sort of rolled onto her knees so that her legs were betwen his, and put her hands on either side of his waist. "I miss you," she whispered gently. "I want it to work," she then added gently, her eyes soft.

Malakai shook his head, "You shouldn't be a suspect. I know you'd never hurt me," he hummed. Kai watched her as she shifted closer. "I miss you too," he whispered back, gently sweeping her hair behind her ear and cupping her face with his hands. "I want this to work too,"

Camery looked at him curiously got a moment. "Oh, Malakai. They all watched you run away from me, and they all heard us arguing after that. Of course I'm a suspect," she mused gently to him after a moment or two. "It's fine... I didn't do it so it should all be okay," she chirped. When his hands slipped onto her cheek, she rested her head on one, just a little bit. "I think.. I don't think it's going to take long for us to get back to where we were. But Kai, I need to trust you completely," she whispered softly, her brows punched together. "We need to work together for it. It's not just my problem, yeah?"

Malakai Negri - Kai nodded, brushing her cheek with his thumb, "I know," he replied. "And I'll do whatever it takes to get us back to normal," he promised her, and he meant it. He loved her more than anything, this wasn't just on her, this was on him too. Relationships are double sided.

Camery let her head lean into his hand gently, and let out a slow breath, closing her eyes for just a moment. She nodded carefully, her breaths soft. "I do care about you, you know," she whispered, sort of letting herself rest gently on his chest, light enough to make sure she wouldn't hurt him. "It's not like I stopped loving you completely," she added gently, her brows punched together.

Malakai Negri - Kai smiled softly, moving one hand to the small of her back, while keeping his other on her cheek. "I know you do," he whispered back.

Camery smiled softly to him, attempting to keep her mind off his hand. Really, it was like they were already going out, everything was... similar, just without as much intimacy. She rested a hand ontop of his. "Well then," she started softly. "When you're all better... let's go out on a date or something," she suggested, offering a small smile ad she let her hands run around the base of his neck. "We can see where that takes us, yeah?"
