"Last time I forgot to use these, I literally fell on my ass, cause I lost my balance." She grinned. "And I was too stubborn not to use them."

"Hm, so you've grown less stubborn since you are using them?" He said with a smirk.

"I got wise. My ass hurt after that fall." She grinned.

He chuckled, gazing into her eyes.

"I was gonna make dinner, dessert, and watch Jurassic Park. Wanna join?" She offered.

"Oh please, you can barely stand. " He paused, thinking for a moment. "I'll help, yeah."

Over the next few days, she regained feeling back into her lower body. One afternoon, she was riding one of her horses into town, safely of course. Soeone driving by gunned their engine, and it backfired, right in the horse's face.
"Hey, easy! Shit!" She yelped, foot caught in the stirrup, the horse bolting, before rolling over on top of her. "Hmmng..."

(I wanted angst, I'm sorry---) She tapped her smart watch, in and out of consciousness. Her watch was connected to her phone, which was at home, and both devices were hooked up to an alarm system, which was used for emergencies. She looked over, her horse injured as well.
"It's okay, baby. Not your fault..." She muttered, succumbing to unconsciousness.
