Mari smiled happily to the boy when he seemed happy to receive his breakfast... well, that was good. She hoped that he'd like it. She'd made something smaller up for herself, since she wasn't very good at eating in the mornings anyway. She sat across from him happily and started munching away, though. "I was thinking we go and get some souvenirs today... how often is it we get to go away? Something for ourselves, for the the children and of course the doctor and the rest of the family...." she trailed off a little bit before smiling lightly. She was a bit disappointed they'd only have today and the next until they left again... but they'd had a good time, she was excited to get back to her baby.

Sage gobbled down the food happily, and looked up at Mari as she talked, though continued eating. He nodded I'm response, though, waiting until he swallowed to actually speak up. "that would be nice," he agreed happily. "we can spend today out and about, and have tomorrow to do whatever and then pack up," he mused lightly. He was sorry to leave a bit...they'd had a good time....but he did want to get back to Silas and their own little room.

Mari had to admit, she was a bit disappointed to get back to their tiny little room. She'd gotten used to having their own space - now it was back to being cramped together with a baby in her tiny room. She nodded happily to the boy and nodded brightly. "Yep," she chirped happily to him. She then huffed a breath out, taking his now empty plate off him to clean up. "We really need to start looking into getting a house of our own when we get back. I don't think I can stay in that room much longer," she chuckled lightly to him before wandering back over and taking his hands to help him up. "Let's get going," she then told him happily.

Sage chuckled lightly at the girl's comment about going back to their room and nodded. "I know what you mean," he chuckled with an amused shake of his head. "We'll find one soon enough...since we don't have to pay for this whole stay, well have plenty in savings," he chirped happily. They didn't need much .. something small would be just fine. They had their eye on a few things already, after all, too. He took the girls hands when she offered them to him, letting go of one and following the girl's happy bounce with a grin and a nod as they wandered out to town. "What would you like to look at," he asked her once they'd gotten down to some of the little shops. They'd get gifts for people...but he had really no ideas of what exactly to get, he could admit that.

Mari nodded lightly to him, a happy smile across her face. Something in her briefly wondered if they could move somewhere a bit more like this... somewhere safer for Silas. But their work was by the castle. In the largest villages around. It wasn't safe there, both her and Sage knew that... but maybe they could go somewhere outside the village, where it was still close enough to the castle and the schools but further away from the centre, where most of the major issues were. She followed him down to the shops happily before humming in thought. "I'd like to get Silas a toy or something... and maybe my mother an apron with the place sewn onto it. Xander will want a map, and Anthony will be wanting a touristy top or something," she mused lightly. "You'd best get something for Att and the doctor. Oh, and Anya too, as a thanks for all this. Get her bottle of wine or something, because she lives here I doubt she'd want a keepsake," she mused lightly.

Sage chuckled lightly at Mari's long list of things she wanted to get and nodded. "I'll look around for something for Anya," he hummed. "Wine would work l, though I'm sure she'd used to stuff that our paychecks combined wouldn't afford," he noted with slight amusement. "Att will want some sort of toy weapon. Maybe a slingshot I could teach him how to use," he mused. "Or a bigger sword ...the one I made for him is getting a bit small," he chuckled lightly. Then he grinned. "would getting the doctor a shiny new scalpel for the next time he had to cut me open be too much," he joked lightly. Really, the old man would appreciate anything, but he did want to get something somewhat useful. He shrugged and pointed to the nearest shop. "we can start here and work out way around," he chirped.

Mari pouted then nodded in agreement. The princess would probably smile wonderingly at them and put it in a cupboard never to be seen again. "That makes sense..." she murmured lightly to him before shrugging. "Well, you know her better than I do. If you see something she'd appreciate, grab it," she mused lightly to him. She knew Silas wouldn't know what the gift would be about... but it would still be a memory for her and Sage. From their honeymoon. "And if you get that boy a sling shot, I'm sure Anya would kill you," she mused lightly to him. "The doctor would love anything, you know that much," she hummed happily. She nodded when he said they could starts and when she looked around she saw a small little statue... it was a seahorse, with a real

horses head shape, made of concrete all the way through. It had the place carved into the stand it was on, and she couldn't help but reach for it. It was a pretty little thing, and wasn't exactly expensive. "Sage, do you like this? For us?"

Sage chuckled lightly and nodded, then grinned with a shrug. "She wasn't pleased with the sword at first, but she grew to like it," he chuckled. It was more like she put up with it, knowing Att would eventually have to use a real sword and possibly fight for the castle. He did wish the boy would never have to fight, as did Anya he was sure, but learning that sort of stuff would be good for him in the long run. He hummed in thought but followed the girl into the first little shop, glancing around until he heard her voice. It was a rather cute statue, and he hummed happily with a nod. "I can see it in front of our little house, decorating your garden," he chirped happily. It was a vision, yes, but one that was quite reachable. He had noticed some oysters that were for sale, most of which would have cool colored pearls because of their environment. He'd read about it somewhere in a book, but he grabbed a few cans. Anya would like a bracelet or necklace of blues and purples and other pale colors....she didn't have one. Maybe he could throw together a set for Mari, too, later on. Maybe for a honeymoon or something. A birthday, perhaps. But his birthday was rather soon, not hers. Whatever, he took note of it.

Mari hummed lightly to him before shrugging. "He's your kid, get him what you'd like," she mused to the boy before looking in the shop again. "Just... stay away from sling shots, I think," she mused lightly. She knew she'd rather have Silas stay away from the weapons of doom... they were probably more likely to kill you than an actual sword. But she guessed that would be a good start for the child, a real sword, but a smaller one so it wouldn't drag him to the ground. Her eyes lit up at him at his comment, though. She leaned into him a little bit, moving to peck his cheek before reaching to pick it up. "I think that sounds absolutely wonderful," she told him happily before reaching for a small purse. "Anything else you want?"

Sage hummed lightly before chuckling and nodding. "sword it is then," he mused lightly. That was probably better anyway...if Att started bringing dead birds or whatever he'd shot down to Anyas room, she would most definitely chew his head off about it. And while it was an amusing thought, he much preferred to keep everyone happy. He'd keep his eye out for a nice sword for the boy. He grinned over at Mari and then glanced around quickly before shaking his head. "Nope," he hummed. "Let's pay and move on, shall we," he chirped happily. He had to admit, he wandered over to the next little shop as eagerly as Anya, and couldn't help the delighted squeak when he found a sword that was the perfect size for Att, and rather cool looking too. He grabbed it and held it up in Maris face, clearly excited about it. Though, he was far enough away so as not to hurt her with it. "I love these things," he giggled, meaning swords in general. He soon hopped off to wonder over all the different weapons they had...which was a lot. Mari probably didn't care much for them, unless it was for a gift, but he wanted to look around for a minute.
