Mari smiled lightly to him before shrugging. "Whatever will make you happy. Or, in this case, will make Atticus happy," she mused in a childish babble. She paid for their little... thing... happily before trotting along next to him. When he seemed entranced by the swords, she spotted a cool looking pen knife that Anthony might like. It had waves printed into it, along with the coordinates of their location. It was a nice little thing, it really was. She'd decided that Anthony would approve of the gift, so quickly paid for it before almost jumping out of her skin when suddenly a sword was shoved in her face. "Sage, be careful with that thing!" She squeaked with a bit of a chuckle. Well... he loved swords. Clearly. His birthday was soon ish... his last birthday, she'd been pretty sick, so they couldn't do much... so perhaps a carving of a sword, or... something, would be nice. Would he like that? She couldn't afford a real one. "Do you think he'd like that, then?" She mused lightly. "Remember this is for the child, not you my love," she chuckled lightly.

Sage hummed lightly and tossed the swords around for a moment, examining it before shrugging. "It's like a real one....just his size," he mused. "Not too heavy, but had some sort of weight to it, and it's balanced well enough." He nodded in decision and grinned over at the girl. "I think he'll like an upgrade," he chuckled lightly. The toy was cheap, since the paint was chipping in a few spots, but that was easily fixable. Besides, there were better designs he could put on it....he was already thinking of a few in all honesty. He chuckled lightly at her comments and nodded. "it's a bit small for me, " he mused in amusement. "And it's still a toy...not quite sharp enough for what I'd need it for." Att would love it though.

Mari hummed to him before cocking her head. "If you think he'll like it, then get it... it's not like I have much of a say in what you do with him," she chuckled lightly to the boy before shaking her head. "I'm sure he'll love it," she chirped happily to the boy, going to peck his cheek. They bought the little toy for the child, and she smiled lightly to him. She'd come back and get something a bit more real... she hoped he'd like it... or, she'd noticed the necklace the doctor had given to him. So maybe a little charm to go with it... or another one. She wasn't sure, she'd have to think of something.. she was pretty shit at gifts. "Go grab it then!" She chirped happily.

Sage chuckled lightly and rolled his eyes at the girl's comment about her not having a say in what he got. "oh please, I'm sure Anya would appreciate you stopping me from getting him something rediculous. Like that slingshot," he noted with amusement. He nodded happily and paid for the sword though, and slung the bag over his shoulder, grabbing Mari's hand with his free hand. "Where to next," he asked happily.

Mari smiled happily to him before shrugging. "I don't mind. Wherever you want," she chirped. Though, she could see a rather touristy looking shop not far from here. "There, maybe?" They had aprons and the likes in the window... exactly what she was looking for, actually. "That looks perfect!" She chirped happily. He mother would like this. Loads. Maybe Sage would find something for the doctor into there, too... man, she loved shopping. Especially gifts.

Sage hummed lightly in agreement to her suggestion and wandered alongaide her as she practically bounced around the shelves. He nodded happily when Mari found the apron, more than happy to spoil her mother a bit....he had become quite fond of the woman, and she of him, so it was nice to get something for her. He did look around for something for the doctor, and eventually came across a small carving of a mule with a young man holding a fishing pole riding it. He chuckled lightly and scooped it up, looking over at Mari with a grin. "I may add onto this later, since it's small, but this is funny," he chuckled. He recalled the doctor having quite loves that stubborn mule of his....so it would be nice for the old man.

|
Mari cocked her head at him ever so slightly before chuckle. "Actually, I do recall him talking about his mule," she snickered lightly, the man was... his own person, he absolutely was. That wasn't a bad thing. She quite liked him, and he was the father Sage had never had, and she knew Sages loved him as much she loved her mother. "He'll love it! And anything you add onto it, if you decide to," she told him with a happy smile. She bought a purple apron for the woman, with a stitched in drawing of the beach... yes, she'd love this.

Sage hummed lightly and nodded. "He's still around, back at the old man's home ranch," he chirped. "They're both living fossils," he chuckled lightly, shaking his head fondly as he thought about the doctor. He nodded happily, really enjoying shopping for others than trying to find something for himself. He chuckled lightly when Mari picked out the apron, and when she tried it on and looked in the mirror, he slid up next to her and whacked her bum playfully before darting to the side with a slight giggle. No one was really around, so he figured she wouldn't mind playing a bit. "Looks great on you," he chuckled, really just joking around. Though, she was pretty in the purple.

Regan nodded in agreement to him. "That poor old man puts up with s lot from you! I'm surprised he hasn't had a heart attack or anything from you. It's surprising he's still about with you making him run around all the time," she mused lightly before grabbing another apron. Well... she might as well get one for herself, too, right? Besides, she liked the purple more than the yellow anyway. She hooked it over her neck, though when she saw Sage wandering up behind her in the mirror, she was expecting something cute, and it was certainly wasn't she was expecting him to whack her. She yelped and jumped forwards, a heavy blush across her face as he looked over to him, then around the store, more than relieved to find out no one was there. "Sage!" She squeaked with a bit of a laugh before shaking her head. "Well... I'm glad you think so. I'm gonna have to buy two now," she giggled playfully.

Sage chuckled lightly at the girl's comment and shrugged. "Well he dishes whatever I serve to him," he chuckled lightly. He let out a kind of giggle/cackle when Mari jumped, grinning over at the girl happily. "you're blushing," he teased her lightly, before humming and swooping over to press a quick kiss to her face. "Get the purple one," he muttered to her, giving her a bit of a flirty wink as he passed around her, and wandered off to look through the next isle, a slight smile remaining on his face.
