Mari smiled happily to him and took his hand, one bag across her arm, and holding the vases in her shoulder. She held Sages hand happily with the free hand before looking about. She didn't mind... she knew he missed his sister more than anything. If she liked these flowers, well, then they'd get hundreds of them, and she wouldn't mind if they made Sage happy. She hummed lightly before pointing towards a small shop... there was a globe in there, and she could see it from here. She couldn't help but think Xander would adore it. She smiled lightly before looking towards Sage. "Can we go in there?" She asked quietly.

Sage gave Mari a thankful smile and hummed happily as they wandered out together again. He was happy with how the day was going ...they had gifts for people, and some house decorations and whatnot to make any place they found feel like home. He glanced over to where Mari was looking when she spoke up, and nodded, heading in the direction of the shop she'd pointed out. "After this, why don't we go out for lunch somewhere," he suggested. "Or we could go back to the vacation home and drop all this off, eat, and come back if you wanted to shop more." It was only midday, so they had plenty of time, especially since the shops were so close to the house.

Mari shrugged quietly to him before humming. "You know I don't mind, whatever you'd prefer. I'd rather get everything done and go relax for a bit. I have a new apron that you seem to like," she chuckled lightly to him. She was amused by it... well she could certainly make a treat out of it, for the both of them. They decided to eat out, so found a restruant and ate before wondering about. It was a week or so until Sages birthday... so she had some time to think about what to get him. She'd pick up something little for him here, too. She wondered about a little, her arm linked with his happily. "I've got everything I wanted... anything else you want? If not we can head back and I can make us a nice roast or something," she chirped. They had a few hours until they'd be hungry again, so she could absolutely make that for them. "Or I can head back now and you can hang around here for a little while?"

Sage chuckled lightly and nodded. "I know, but this is your honeymoon," he pointed out. "I want to treat you to something," he chuckled. He chuckled lightly when she mentioned the apron and nodded, humming in a teasing approval. "Good," he purred, giving the girl a wink. If something came out of it, he'd be more than happy. They only had one day left, really...so he wanted to make the best of it. The restaurant they ate at was rather good too...he had a nice steak, and Mari a nice looking rack of ribs. He'd stolen a bite of one, and it seemed yummy from what he got. Once they were done, he was more than happy to go back and rest for a while. He hummed in thought for a minute before shaking his head. He was content enough with the flowers...now he wanted to spend some time alone with his wife for the rest of his honeymoon. "Let's head back," he hummed. "You still have that apron to show me," he added with a teasing giggle, bumping her with his hip slightly as they walked back.

Mari giggled childishly at him hut hummed. "Exactly. It's our honey moon! I'd much rather spend it with you than anything else. It's not like it'll be often I get you to my self," she told him quietly. Once they went back, everything would be back to normal, so she wanted to make the most of this while she still could. She smiled happily when he said they could head back. The food had been wonderful... but she also really just wanted to make their dinner up. A roast would take a few hours. They made it back to the house in good time, and and couldn't help but smile happily. "You okay to start putting things away? I'll get dinner sorted." When he agreed, she grabbed the apron happily before pecking his lips and padding away to the kitchen. She did have a bit of an idea to cross her mind... it would be more amusing than anything. She made up all the food, and as she expected Sage to come in, she replaced her clothes with just this apron she'd gotten... they were folded up neatly on the chair, so they were likely to be the first thing he saw... then the second being her.

Sage chuckled and bobbed his head up and down in agreement. He was sad this whole thing was ending, but he was definitely glad to get back to Silas too....he did miss the boy. He was more than happy to walk back to the little cabin quietly, sort of just enjoying being with the girl and listening to the birds chirping in the trees around them. He nodded happily when she asked him to put stuff away, and he took what bags she'd been carrying in his free hand before grinning at her peck and padding away happily. He worked somewhat quickly, eager to get back to the girl, but did make sure everything was actually put away and not just thrown on the bed haphazardly. Then he wandered back down towards the kitchen rather lazily, though when he saw the girl's clothes on the chair, and then Mari herself, he was admittedly a bit....less lazy as he swept across the room towards her. "What on earth are you doing," he chuckled, eyeing the girl curiosly and a bit amused. Though, there were other emotions there too, ones he didn't exactly bother to hide from her.

Mari was really very grateful for Sage... he did the most for her and her family. Their family. And the fact he was willing to sit and pack while she made dinner was nice, because she knew it wasn't the most exciting job, whereas she loved to cook. But, they might as well have done that so they wouldn't have to later on. When Sage came in, she couldn't stop her cheeky looking grin when she saw the confusion on his face, along with the same amusement she had on her face. "I'm cooking!" She grinned, holding the spoon up as though it was going to prove it to him. They only had a bit of time left here, and if she was going to mess about like this, she couldn't exactly do it in the castle, now could she?

Sage snorted out a laugh at the girl's claim, shaking his head slightly. "You're up to something," he chuckled. "And I'm not so sure that cooking is what you're up to," he added with amusement, looking the girl up and down. He plopped down on a chair facing the girl and grinned. "though I can't say I'm complaining," he mused. "The view is infinitely better this way," he giggled lightly, eyes glittering. "So you go ahead and cook, but expect to work some more later," he purred, face having turned quite mischievous, really. But he supposed she'd expected a reaction like that from him ....really, who wouldn't? If she was going to tease like this, then she'd have to deal with later. It was amusing, really.

Mari's eyes widened and turned to look at him with a pout. "I can't believe you'd suggest such a thing! I'm simply making dinner for my wonderful husband," she giggled happily to him. She knew she was the one teasing, but as she went back to the veggies she couldn't help the silly looking blush that covered her face. She glanced back at him after a moment or two, her grin still bright. "I don't know what your seeing, but I'm not going to complain," she mused to him, her eyes bright and giddy looking. She hummed quietly to him after a moment or two. She didn't care if anything happened, but she was amused more than anything. She was just giggly as of then. "Well, we can see," she teased lightly to the boy lightly. "Maybe, if you're lucky," she babbled to him.

Sage snorted in amusement, shaking his head in response to the girls comments. "Well, if you're not complaining, that's all that matters then," he chuckled lightly. Really, the apron left very little to the imagination....that was one way of putting it. Not that he needed imagination to know what the girl looked like, but whatever. He was really just amused at the fact that she was teasing him like this....and a little bit excited about it all, as per the usual. But, he did want to wait until after she was done cooking to...distract her at all. He wanted a good meal, not a burnt something because they'd gotten distracted. He snorted at her last comment, rolling his eyes slightly. "I am lucky, since you're still here with me," he huffed. "And you're teasing, so therefore you'd better prepare yourself for after dinner," he chirped, eyes glittering happily and rather mischievously as well. (It's funny...I was daydreaming last night and was like 'it would be funny if Mari just wore the apron' and then I woke up to you having put that in the rp xD) Edited at June 7, 2023 06:05 PM by NightClan
