Mari let out a yelp as she found herself falling over, much to her dismay. She tried to grab something as she fell, but just found that she'd grabbed Sage, who'd probably helped pull her over even more. She held into him tighter as she realised herself to hit the floor, but he had broken her fall pretty well. She landed with a bit of a squeak, but nothing too bad, considering they'd flopped down on the floor with the dress between them. "Ugh, this bloody dress is always in my way," she huffed teasingly before pretty much going limp on top of him. With a childish sounding laugh. She was still very much aware of the fact that she did, in fact, only have the apron on... and she was still a bit nervous about it, too, mainly because she'd just ran through the house with nothing but that and socks on, and as amusing as it was, she was also getting over the fact that she had actually just done it - running around a house pretty much naked. Though, putting it like that still made her giggle like a child. Edited at June 8, 2023 06:09 PM by Belle

Sage let out a grunt when Mari landed on top of him and let out a chuckle at her comment about the dress. "See what I mean? Trousers are much easier," he chuckled lightly. He, too, was well aware of the fact that the girl wasn't wearing much....and admittedly his heart was going much faster than normal. He half sat up, sort of shoving the excessive fabric of the dress off of them as best he could, still chuckling slightly.

Mari huffed out a soft breath before shrugging softly. "I suppose," she murmured with a bit of a giggle. She really did just find it so amusing... and she couldn't even begin to tell him why. "And I promise, in another life when I won't wear them. Maybe if I'm actually allowed not to," she huffed to him, sitting up with him before helping to pull the dress out, then leaned forwards to wrap herself around him once more, quickly pecking his lips. "I can't believe you just made me run through the whole house like this," she then complained, holding onto a bit of a giggle.

Sage chuckled softly at the girl's comments and grinned up and over at her. "Well, you look good in them at least," he mused in a rather amused manner. He felt his normal dumb grin form on his face when she kissed him, and hummed happily before chuckling slightly. "You were the one who chased me," he snorted lightly. "Besides, no one else is here," he chirped. "I get you all to myself," he giggled lightly, eyes glittering.

Mari nodded to him before rolling her eyes. "Mhm, better than you would at least," she giggled lightly to him. "So let's not loose it," she chuckled lightly to the boy. She then huffed out a breath before climbing off him and offering her hands to help him up. "Yeah, but Sage, you stole my dress!" She reminded him with a childish laugh. It was amusing all the same, and she did rather enjoy the games and messing about. They'd be going back soon... so she did enjoy paying about with eachorher before they got back to work. "Do you really?" She asked curiously before hoping up and running to the other side of the bed once more. She was just playing about, and in all fairness if Sage really wanted to grab her he probably could.

Sage chuckled lightly and shrugged. "I don't think it's going anywhere," he mused in a rather amused manner. He snickered and grinned over at the girl before reaching over to let her help pull him to his feet. "Oh please, you enjoyed the chase," he hummed lightly, before gasping dramatically and ambling lazily after the girl again. "I do if you slow down," he whined playfully. "Come here," he yelped, finally just diving over the bed to wrap himself around her and pull her over onto the bed with a giggle.

Mari huffed to him, rolling her eyes ever so slightly. "I enjoyed it?! Sage, I was terrified!" She yelped to him with a bit of a laugh. Of course, it was amusement more than anything, but she could joke all she wanted. She did like their little games anyway. She squeaked when he dived over to her, and just kind of went limp as he pulled her up onto the mattress. She didn't care, of course not, but it was amusing to her. She flopped down in an awkward position before huffing out a breath. "Noo," she complained before rolling over to wrap herself up under the covers.

Sage giggled lightly in response to the girl rolling herself up in the covers, and her little squeak. He rolled his eyes slightly and scooted closer to her, wrapping his arms and legs around the cocoon she'd made with another light giggle. "gotcha," he chirped happily, sort of burying his face in her neck, since she smelled nice and so why not. He was really quite amused with it all, and was definitely happy with how their last full day was going. They'd do what they wanted the next morning, but then they had to head home. He was a bit sad to leave, but he was eager to get back to everyone the knew and loved, especially little Silas.

Mari couldn't help her giggle when the boy went to bury his nose into her neck - she was a little bit ticklish there, if she was to be completely honest, and it did feel quite nice to have him there. She knew he was comfortable when he curled into her like that. It was sweet. But, the only issue now, was that she was stuck under the covers with him wrapped tightly around her side. She groaned quietly before moving to peck his lips. "Let me out," she pleaded with a childish giggle, clearly fairly happy with all of this.

Sage chuckled lightly, pulling back to pout playfully at the girl. "Oh, but I'm so very, very comfortable like this," he mused, eyes glittering happily even though he somehow managed to keep his face in a pouty look. "You might have to convince me to let you go," he hummed, his eyes taking on a more daring light. Because they, it was their last evening alone together....so why not have some fun? It would be a while until they got to do it again, back at the castle. Maybe even not until they got a house and bedroom of their own. And....well....if she really wanted to get pregnant, this was the perfect time to do so. And admittedly, he did still want another one. It wasn't exactly probable, but it was possible, and he was letting himself hope, even against his better judgement.
