Mari smiled when she felt his arms tighten around her, and in turn let out a happy sounding hum. "Mine now," she noted shortly with a happy sounding chuckle, though soon settled down. It had been about an hour, and she'd only just managed to stop herself from falling asleep. She wanted to be able to remember everything. Stay conscious though all of this. She sighed gently to the boy, and gently sat up, a hand coming up to his face to trace his features, then ran into his hand as she went to peck his lips before rolling off him with a heavy sigh.

Sage chuckled lightly in response to the girl's comment, sort of just nestling into her hair a bit more with a hum of slight agreement. He was more than happy to lay there with his eyes closed, just cuddling up with his wife. He opened his eyes when she sat up, sort of just looking up at her happily as her hand ran around his face and jawline, then felt his normal smile cross his face when he felt her lips against his. He looked over at her when she rolled off of him, entwining their fingers together and resting his head on her shoulder with a happy sigh. "We need to get a house so we have our own bedroom," he murmured with amusement.

Mari kept one hand in his hair when he rested his head on her shoulder, and was more than happy to keep one hand entwined with his. He was comforting... and she really did enjoy the small touch. She knew they'd spent the whole week together, but she couldn't remember the last time they'd just cuddled up like this for the sake of it. She nodded in agreement to him, a light smile on her face. "We do... we need three bedrooms," she told him with a bit of a smile. "So we have space for another child," she hummed gently as she stared up at the ceiling, her face relaxed yet ever so happy.

Sage hummed happily, and nodded slightly, though not enough for her hand to move from his hair. The small touches like that we're always so nice....her hands on his hair were nice, even if it wasn't doing anything like rubbing or scratching. Just sitting there was nice too. He did like that sort of thing....the hand in his hair, a shoulder or neck rub, the feel of her hands slipping under his shirt as per the usual....all of it was just so nice. "We definitely do," he hummed. "Though, if a two bedroom is cheaper we can get that, and I can expand it if we get enough land with it," he mused, sort of just thinking what may be cheaper and better. But either way, they'd make it work out.

Mari hummed thoughtfully to him, a smile still across her face. "Do you think you could do that?" She asked curiously. She knew Sage was handy, and he could do a lot... but a house was a whole other board game. It would be nice just to move in and have everything ready, rather than having to wait months for an expansion to be finished. Though, if Sage thought that he could do it, there would be no harm in trying. "It might be cheaper just to buy, though... all the materials..." she trailed off and rolled onto her side to look at him. "We're still gonna have to work, too," she added to him.

Sage hummed lightly and nodded. "If it's cheaper, then it would make more sense I think," he mused. Then he hummed in agreement with her about materials and shrugged. "I could get a lot from the woods, but like I said we'd have to think about it and see," he chirped. Then he nodded. "I just work in the barn, and mystery will be grown by then, so it won't be much," he pointed out with a shrug. They'd have to see, though....they had some houses in mind, but if they wanted something a bit bigger, that was fine too. "but as long as I have you and little Silas, I'll be alright," he giggled. It was a bit cheesy, but it was true.

Mari just sort of hummed to him before shaking her head. "We will see," she repeated with a bit of a chuckle. Of course, she didn't mind... she just wanted to have their own space, where their family could be. Just to be safe and comfortable. She kind of grew out the castle a while back... so she was more than happy to move into their own little pace, no matter how big it was. She'd saved up enough herself to get a fairly large house anyway, or a nicer smaller one. Edited at June 11, 2023 01:19 PM by Belle

Sage hummed lightly and nodded in response to the girls comment. It would be nice to just get a decent sized house and land and just...stay that way. Maybe if they got enough land, he could start up their own little barn, and breed and sell the horses they had. Chaos was a great stud...just not for horses that had to carry knights in armor. But there were plenty of people who wanted, and liked, fairer horses than the stocky ones at the castle. Horses made good money, too, so it would be nice. "Would you mind if, once we got settled, I started up a breeding program of our own," he asked curiously. "Selling foals is good money, and I already have a stud, so if we get a few cheap mares it would be an easy start," he added eagerly. It was definitely something he'd like to do for a living....and Mari could keep the house out together and watch the kids or whatever if she didn't want to be around the horses. But, they had enough for a decent sized house....if they could get a decent sized plot of land with it, it would be perfect for them.

Mari looked curiously over at him after a moment, an eyebrow slightly raised. A... stud farm? Sage was wonderful, and he was absolutely amazing with the horses, but he also knew he was very... sensitive. Well, more so with the horses than with people, but he was sensitive all the same. She knew that studwork was a lot of strain. She didn't want him to be constantly worrying about everything, or having to get up in the middle of the night because a mare was in distress. But... Silas would be older then. She wanted him to have his daddy about for a while, and it would be a while until they actually started to move into a horse. She also didn't want him to revert to the way he'd been before, where he was so... closed off and quiet. But she wanted him to follow his passions. They'd talked about him starting to sell his artwork, too, and if he was doing both she could see him getting stressed out. The first few years would be tough, too... they wouldn't bring in much money for a while. Granted, she'd still be working in the castle even when they moved, so they'd have something coming in, but she wanted to give her children absolutely everything she could. But, again, Sage deserved to do something he liked. She was just a bit... dubious of it all. She also didn't want to be stuck with the children, if they had another one, all day. She loved Silas, and if they had another baby she'd love it too, but she couldn't stay pent up in a house just for Sage to be running around with horses. She drew in a deep breath before looking over at him with furrowed brows. "Why don't we just start with one. One mare and one foal, just for the first year. See how you like it first? Of course, we can get a house with land, and you can keep the horses here, but I have to admit, I'm a bit... worried that you might not like it. Or that you'll struggle to put up with it all alone," she murmured quietly. "And what will I do? Clean the house and watch the kids?"

Sage could see Mari debating the idea of a stud farm in her head. Though, he did agree that starting out small would be a good idea. He hummed in agreement with the girl and then chuckled slightly. "We don't exactly have the money to get more than that," he pointed out with slight amusement. "I can sell art while we get that running, though that's more just a fun hobby than anything," he admitted. He supposed he would enjoy coming in from the barn to doing art, and at least the art would be put to good use rather than collecting dust in his bedroom. "And if we can afford more horses, we could always afford to hire some cheap help, but that's way in the future." He took care of all the horses at the castle on his own anyway, and he enjoyed it, so he wasn't too concerned about it. Then he shrugged slightly and hummed in thought. "If you'd want. It doesn't matter I suppose."
