Mari, admittedly, was a little bit concerned with the idea of this whole stud thing... she didn't want it to go wrong for Sage, but at some point she knew it would, and she didn't know how he'd deal with it. "And that's another thing. We don't have much money... and it will take a lot just for one foal. We want another kid too, and that'll be even more," she murmured quietly to him. She wanted this for him, but she was a bit scared of what could go wrong. And, again, what would she do while her husband was out sorting all the horses? At some point Silas would want to go out there with him and she'd be left alone. But that was a selfish thought. She just wanted him to be happy. "I... well, we can try. I don't want you to get upset by anything," she murmured quietly to him. "I'd have to work extra though - and Sage, I would want you to keep on working in the castle so we have enough money coming in, at least for a few months to make up for this mare you want," she added quietly to the boy.

Sage hummed lightly and nodded. "I know," he hummed, squeezing the girl for a moment. "I'd only get a few, and keep working at the castle in the meanwhile. I'd just keep them there since I already take care of all the castle horses," he hummed. Then he shrugged. "If it doesn't work out, we can sell the horses we don't want to keep. If we sell a mar while she's pregnant, she'll be worth more than what we buy her for," he pointed out. If that happened, they wouldn't be loosing money over the mares. He shook his head when she said she'd have to work extra. "No, I don't want you to get worked out or stressed because I want a few horses," he murmured. "We'll get settled first, that's what's important. I want us to be happy...if it doesn't work out then it doesn't work out," he told her gently. "But if we try it, and you don't like it, I need you to tell me. If I'm gone too much or whatever, I want to figure something out, not have you feel upset and me clueless." He chuckled slightly. "You know better than most how impulsive I am....I need you to be my sense of reason," he noted with amusement.

Mari couldn't help her small smile when the boy went to give her a little squeeze, and leaned into him for a moment... she knew this was something he wanted, and there was no harm in trying, not that she could see at least. She hummed gently to him before sighing. "I don't mind them staying wherever we end up. You'll want to keep an eye on them through the night, will you not? Especially if it's the first foal," she murmured quietly to him. When he told her he wouldn't want her to work, she shook her head softly. "Sage... do you want this?" She asked gently. "Because I want to help if it's what you want. If that means taking on a few extra hours, that's fine with me... but I want you to work for it too," she murmured softly to him. He meant the world to her... he wanted to try stud management, then she'd help him do that, even if it was just financially. "We're a team... and I want to help you to have everything you want," she told him gently, a small smile across her face. She meant it, too, even if it was down to something a bit... scary to her. She wanted to keep on having a life that they had... one where they weren't too poorly off. She didn't want Sage spending all their money on horses, so if she had to work more to make sure their children had everything, and so that he did too, then that was fine. But, like he said, they'd get settled first. "Okay," she whispered softly, going to peck his lips. She let her face rest close to his, still contemplating to him. "If it was up to me, I'd wouldn't want you to do it... but that's just because it's scary for me. You know what you're doing most of the time," she mused softly.

Sage hummed in thought before nodding. "yes, but I'd still be working at the castle for a while after we get to the house. I'd keep them there until a barn a pastures we're all fixed up," he said with a shrug. He pursed his lips when she said she wanted to help him out before nodding. "Alright....but if it's too much, especially if you get pregnant again, stop. Promise," he asked with a slightly cocked head. He wanted her happy and healthy more than a few horses, as much as he loved the animals. He chuckled lightly when she said she wasnt too pleased being around horses. Then he raised an eyebrow. "Most of the time," he asked with a laugh. "I make it up as I go normally," he giggled.

Mari nodded to him. It was whatever he wanted to do... this would be his 'thing', as you say. She didn't really want much to do with the horses, and all she knew about them was that they made Sage happy, and that they were a lot of money. But Sage thought he could make a lot out of them, too... and she believed him. If he could make enough money to give Silas a better life than what either of them had, then that was all she wanted. She nodded to him when he told her to stop if it got too much. "Pregnant or not, I'd still be able to work a bit extra, Sage. I worked pretty much all the way through Silas, even being ill... a few extra hours won't hurt," she told him quietly. "Again, if this is what you want to do, I'll help you the best I can," she whispered gently, pecking his nose at his next comments. "But it normally goes well for you!" She mused happily to him.

Sage hummed doubtfully but then huffed out a breath and nodded. "I know, I know," he sighed. "but you shouldn't have to work so hard," he added, admittedly rather sullenly. He should be able to provide and care for her and the children, no matter if they had one or two or three, or whatever. He was the husband, that was supposed to be his role. Instead, Mari had been the one working, and now she was going to work even more so he could try and start up a hobby. Yes, it would eventually make money for the family, but starting it was really just a hobby. And he did often feel rather.... inadequate about it. She still got paid more than him, and he worked harder down at the barn than she did with the queen. He wasn't exactly complaining, he should be lucky the queen offered him a job at all....he'd been doing all the work for free, since he cared for the horses. But he did often feel like he wasn't fulfilling his promises to the girl.

The girl looked over Sages features for a moment or two, then shook her head with a soft sigh. She moved a little bit closer to him, and despite being a little bit too hot, she was comfortable with him. Her hands gently trailed around his chest before looking up at him with a small smile. "I'm fine. I'll be fine. I have you, so don't worry," she told him with a bit of a smile. She pressed a light kiss to his cheek before shuffling away again. "Don't worry about anything. We have a while until any of this happens, so really, it's all fine," she promised him. She didn't like the idea of a stud farm... she was scared it'd take Sage away from her a little bit, and that it'd eventually end up taking her children away from her, too. But they'd make it work. They always did.

Sage hummed rather doubtfully and then sighed slightly, resting his head on her shoulder. He did hope it worked out for them....horses were a good source of money, and if they could set up their own little operation, it would set them well off. But like she said, it would be a while until that was really up and running, and he knew Mari wasn't thrilled with the idea. But, he already took care of the barns with plenty of time for his family, so it really wasn't anywhere wasn't already doing. "Let's just focus on getting a house and a bit of land, before I decide I want to try and start a circus too," he joked lightly. He did want to find a house rather soon, though, because of Mari was gonna get pregnant, it would have been during the honeymoon, and he wanted Silas to grow up having a home to live in. They had the money saved....so he wanted to get one sooner rather than later.

Mari nodded in agreement to him, a slightly amused look across her face. "I think that would be smart," she mused lightly. She knew Sage wanted this, but she wanted to settle down first... get comfortable. She wanted Silas to be able to go to school and have a comfortable life, not just be constantly worried about everything. And if Sage could get this up and running, when he was older then perhaps Silas could take over... so he'd always be able to have a source of income. She moved to peck his lips, then rolled out of bed. "I think I'm gonna get a bath in that nice big tub before we have to go back," she mused lightly before padding back towards the bathroom to get the tub running, looking more than happy to be able to put some bubbles in there, too.

Sage hummed lightly with a slight chuckle in response to Mari's comment. He was in full agreement with her, of course....a nice house was the first step to a good future. He felt his normal grin cross his face when Mari pecked his lips, and then chuckled lightly. "I'll join you," he mused after a moment, following the girl into the bathroom happily. The tub was quite nice....and he did sort of want to use it one more time. He sort of ambled in there, and found Mari putting a large amount of bubbles in the bath water. It was amusing, really, though he of course didn't mind a bath or the bubbles....it could be fun. He tugged his shirt off after a moment, really just happy to be with Mari.
