Caden's gaze fell to Murphy, who was stuck upside down against the wall. "I would blame you but you don't have thumbs, also how did you do that?" He asked, running a hand down his face as he went and got him unstuck. |

Murphy jumped up, Caden scooping him up and holding him against him. "You're so goofy," He mused, the dog licking his nose. |

"He's your son" She mocked soflt,y watching them with a smile |

"Better than a kid, wouldn't scream or cry." He chuckled, wiping his face. |

"He does-" He started, Murphy scrambling out of his arms and barking at somehting outside. Caden tensed, gazing out there and seeing a figure move. He scowled, grabbing his shotgun from behind the TV and scooting Murphy inside before stepping out. |

"Caden..." Rose warned, watching him as she grabbed a pistol from atop the fridge |

The figure stood there for a second, Caden's finger lingering on the trigger. They eventually scrambled off, the man lowering the gun and coming back in. "Good dog, Murph.'' |
