Mari nodded in agreement to him. The boy had gotten huge recently... and he was probably be very likely to be taller than the both of them. Her father had been quite tall, as was Anthony, and Sages father had been quite big when she'd seen him, too. Sage himself wasn't exactly short. "He could very well be, you know! If we keep him healthy, then he'll be a giant," she mused lightly. She'd gotten the little things she'd gotten for the child on the side table, and she had been planning to get Sages gifts ready, too... but she had a few days left. When she got back to bed, though, both him and their baby were flat out asleep on the bed... that made sense. Sage had a long day driving, and Silas was still in his sleepy faze. She smiled quietly before climbing into bed, though made sure not to wake either of them, but unable to reach out to wrap an arm across both of them.

Sage didn't move when Mari crawled into bed besides subconsciously scooting closer to sort of curl up against her, though he kept baby Silas on his chest, sleeping happily. He sort of rested his head on Maris shoulder and let out a sleepy huff of air before settling down again. He slept well that night...no nightmares haunted his mind. Well, no dreams happened at all....he was sleeping too deeply for that. He slept in a bit late too, and then it was back to their normal schedule. Mari said goodbye, and he stayed laying in bed for a while before Silas got hungry. He got up to feed the boy, and went about caring for him and unpacking their stuff. Well, his stuff. And the things that were together. Mari had a few mystery bags in the corner that he left alone, since he didn't know if she wanted him to or not....and his birthday was in like a day or two. By the time Mari came back, everything but the mystery bags had been put away and Silas was happily eating some mashed up sweet potato like food for lunch. He welcomed her with a quick kiss, made sure everything was fine, and then headed off to the barn. He was excited to see mystery...and Amber was certainly happy to run about again. Soon enough, though, he was back in the room and heading to the shower. The day had gone so fast...it was a bit crazy. But he was tired, and ready for dinner and bed.

Mari wrapped her little family up in a blanket, and she had to say both Sage and Silas were absolutely adorable together. She smiled lightly before drifting off to sleep. Soon enough, though, she had to be up to work... which was, admittedly very difficult. She was normally up quickly anyway, but it was just a bit harder this time. She pressed a kiss to Sages cheek, then Silas's and reluctantly went back to work. She was back soon, only to see Sage feeding the child happily. She had to admit, she was thankful she didn't have to breastfeed anymore. Very thankful. She waved Sage goodbye, and happily played with the baby, making funny noises to get the baby to eat his mash. She grinned to Sage when he came back, though now she was wrapping up presents, so had to quickly shove them under bed, and little Silas was asleep quietly. When he finally came back, she found that she was exhausted... she supposed she'd gotten a bit too used to relaxing, she supposed, and she was incredibly, incredibly hungry. "What are you wanting for dinner?" She asked with a bit of a smile to the boy.

Sage greeted Mari with a smile and a sweaty peck on the cheek, as per the usual. At her question he cocked his head slightly and hummed in thought before shrugging. "Something quick and easy," he mused. "Might just be a spaghetti night," he admitted with a chuckle. "Let me shower first though, or you'll have sweaty noodles," he joked lightly, giving her another peck on the cheek as he slipped past her into the bathroom. He was pretty hungry, and tired, so he'd make this quick. He could tell Mari was hungry too...so he was sure to get out as soon as he could. He dried off quickly and got dressed. They were back at the castle, so he left a bit of the top unbuttoned but decided not to just leave it open while they were walking around, even if it was warm. He could do that once they got back to the room. He hopped out of the bathroom happily, pattering over to Mari and pecking her on the lips. "Ready to eat," he asked with a slight chuckle, knowing the answer would be yes.

Mari nodded happily to him in agreement. "Sweaty noodles," she repeated with an amused laugh, "yeah, go shower, I can smell you from here," she teased lightly. She waved him off with a happy smile, and got Silas all comfortable in his crib, gently rocking him back and fourth until she was sure he was asleep. In all honesty, the thought of spaghetti made her feel a bit... sickly, but she was happy to eat a little bit. At least the noodles. Shen smiled when he pecked her on the lips and nodded to him. "Yeah, of course," she mused before climbing up and taking his hand, walking hand in hand towards the kitchen. When they'd finally gotten there, she hummed quietly before taking a seat on a chair in the corner. "Can you cook tonight?" She asked with a cocked head.

Sage was more than happy to amble along next to the girl as they wandered down to the kitchen together. He did enjoy any time he had with her, even if it was just holding her hand as they walked down a hallway. Anything with her made it all seem ten times better. No, a thousand times better. Maybe more! He chuckled inside his head at himself, rather amused at how he was sort of thinking like a lovesick puppy. He probably looked that way too, just wandering along with the girl. Not that he cared. He was rather surprised when she sat down instead of wanting to cook, but nodded anyway before sticking his face close to hers worriedly. "do you feel alright," he asked. She just seemed very tired, and was a bit pale ...unless that was just his worried imagination making him...well, more worried. But she loved to cook...it gave her energy, so he had reason to worry.

Mari smiled as they walked, and was slightly reluctant to let go of his hand. When he stuck his face to hers, she flinched away as she was a little out of it, staring out the window, but soon tilted her head forward to peck his lips. "Yeah, of course," she promised the boy lightly, and moved to place a hand on his cheek as she gazed up at him. "Don't worry. I'm just tired hun," she told him lightly before smiling happily. "And I want you to cook for me anyway," she mused happily to him. She did feel a little bit... off, but it wasn't anything to worry about. She was more than likely just a bit overwhelmed by everything that had happened in the last day or two. But Sage had been tired too... and after doing so little for so long, it would have been a bit of a shock to the system running around the way they had yesterday, and working the way they had before now.

Sage frowned at her worriedly but sighed slightly and nodded, pecking her on the forehead. It was half to check her temperature and half an agreement. "Alright," he hummed. "But if you start feeling sick, twel me alright," he asked. He wasn't going to argue...she didn't feel warm or anything, so maybe she was just tired. He was too, though he didn't feel bad. But of course he'd make her some food. He got to work soon enough, happily cooking the noodle and warming up some sauce and getting out some cheese and setting everything on the table while the noodles cooked. He occasionally glanced back at Mari, to make sure she was alright, but she was just happily watching him. Once the noodles were done, he strained them and then hopped over to put the pan down next to the cheese and sauce and then grabbed some bowls and forks for them. He sat down and dug in, really quite hungry by then.

Mari nodded in agreement to the boy before shrugging. "Of course," she chirped to him, a silly looking smile across her face when he pecked her cheeks... it was safe to say she was happy to have him around. She was alright for the most part... just a little bit tired and a bit sicky, but nothing awful. She was jus ta bit disorientated as of then, so sleep would do her well. She watched him scamper around the kitchen for a while, obviously enjoying the sight... the smell of cheese that came into the air was a bit overwhelming, but soon settled and she was actually rather excited to eat. She smiled when he put the bowl in front of her and gave a happy smile. "You know, I've never had your cooking... other than soup," she mused lightly before starting to munch away. She didn't eat very much... but it was still very good.

Sage was glad when Mari seemed to be eager to eat...he'd been worried she wouldn't feel up for anything, and she did have to eat something. The spaghetti was rather good too, he thought, though he supposed he had Mari's cooking to compare it to, and he did prefer hers. But that was really just because he was a bit biased towards her cooking...his spaghetti was delicious too. He grinned over at her in response to her comment and chuckled. "Well, I can cook with just about anything," he mused. "Had to make stuff I found that looked yucky taste decent enough for Lizzie to eat it," he hummed, a sort of far away look coming over his eyes and face as he thought about hunting through the tavern dumpsters after work, trying to find something to feed his little sister, twirling the noodles around his fork slowly. He came back to after a moment, bringing the noddles up to his mouth happily. He cleaned up everything once they were done and then held his hands out to Mari. "Now let's go get you in bed, you look like some kind of mutant zombie that just crawled from the lake," he joked lightly. She was always beautiful, and she knew he thought that...but she did look rather unwell. Better after she ate, but definitely she needed to get to bed. And he was certainly ready to sleep too.
