Mari smiled and followed him along, though was clearly more than interested with Silas to pay much attention to the house, though when Sage spoke her eyes flickered up to see a pretty little cottage, painted white with black and brown beams and a hatch roof. It was really pretty... and it wasn't too disheveled. A new roof and it'd be wonderful. "It is pretty," she agreed happily... they looked around, and the rooms were nice... a big fire pit in the living room, which was massive, an en-suite bathroom in the master bedroom and two spare rooms... they were all big and spacey, but could do with another layer of paint. The kitchen was fully furnished, and it was really quite pretty, too. She wandered into the back yard... or, just the yard, which was gorgeous. She hadn't really read about the property other than the house, but there were stables for five horses, about threes large fields and a small grass arena. It was really quite wonderful... this was a bit run down, but it wouldn't take much for Sage to put some new fencing up and fix up the stables. "Sage, come here hun," she chirped as she called into the house to show him the yard.

Sage was more than happy to run about the house excited, though when he heard Mari call, he wandered over to her. "What's up," he chirped, wandering up next to her. He looked out at the fields where she was looking, and his eyes widened when he noticed the barns and pastures. It would take some work to fix up, but not too much. And there was plenty of room to expand things in the future if they wanted to. He sort of just stared for a bit before looking over at Mari with a wide grin on his face, and wrapped an arm around her happily. "I love it here," he squeaked. "I think this is it," he hummed happily, looking around again. His time was open to Maris suggestions though ...and if she didn't like the place, they could keep looking. But it was exactly what they wanted ....and they could afford it pretty easily. And he didn't think any of the other homes they'd looked at that they could afford had land like this.

Mari smiled lightly to the boy, her eyes light as she watched him look around... he didn't have to tell her he loved it. She was a bit concerned that this was the first house they saw... but she did love it, too. It was pretty big, especially for the money it was up for. Sure it was a bit run down, and slightly over budget, but it as wonderful... with lots of space for their little family to grow if they wanted it. It was int he country side, but not too far from the village, and the castle so she could still work there... and it was safe. They wouldn't get caught up in the dangers of the village. Not them or their kids. "I do like it... you sure it's the place?" She asked with a grin... she did love it. It was perfect... she just needed to make sure he loved it too.

Sage looked back over at Mari with a wide grin and eyes glittering happily. He nodded, pretty fast, and squeezed her slightly. "I think it's perfect," he chirped happily. He had no desire to look anywhere else....this was perfect. It was everything they'd wanted and more ...it even had an extra guest bedroom than they'd been wanting, and it was big but cozy, and had lots of land.

Mari grinned up at him and went to peck his lips. It wasn't often things like this came about... not many people tended to move out of their family homes, but they could afford to do it. They could make their own family home, this place being the basis. "It is, isn't it?" She asked with a bit of a chuckle. They'd have to dig the money out, but they could do it. "I'll settle everything before we head back then... then send the money through tomorrow... then, I guess, we have a house," she giggled excitedly to the boy. She took his hand, and they stopped to talk to the current owner to agree on pricings and settled everything out before finally heading back to the castle... she had to hand Silas over to Sage after a little bit, because she'd gotten a sudden wave of nausea, but was soon just fine. "Dinner then bed, hm?" She asked lightly to him.

Sage smiled over at her and nodded happily, and only felt his grin widen when she said they could settle all the pricing out. "Yay," he giggled lightly. They agreed on a price, one he and Mari were both really very happy with before heading back. He was more than happy to carry Silas, though he eyed the girl since she didn't look too good again. Hopefully, she wasn't sick and hurting on his birthday again....he wanted to have some fun with her this time around. Not that he was mad he'd had to care for her before...he liked helping her out...but he did hope she was healthy this time around. He nodded happily at her comment, and they settled Silas down before they wandered down to the kitchen. "What sounds good tonight," he hummed lightly, looking through the fridge.

Mari hummed in thought after a little while before shrugging. "I'm not sure. Anything, really... just surprise me," she giggled happily. "Oh, nothing too cheesy. The smell of it was awful yesterday," she huffed lightly to him. She was happy... they'd just bought a house. Their very own house... god, she was so excited. She couldn't wait to decorate and clean the place up a bit... and of course show it off to everyone. It was a smart place, and they'd gotten really quite lucky with it, she thought happily. They had one day left before Sages birthday... so tomorrow she'd get everything ready for him so it was all ready in the morning. Soon, they had eaten and made it back to the room... Mari had wandered off to get a shower before drying off and crawling back into bed, though she was still pretty much buzzing. Her hand trailed lightly up and down his chest as she layed next to him, clearly very giddy... the nausea had worn off a little bit now that she'd eaten decently. "Sage, we have a house!" She squeaked childishly to him, her whole face lit up.

Sage hummed lightly and nodded at her requests, before getting something together quickly. She seemed a bit tired again, so he was more than happy to let her sit down and watch him cook....besides, she seemed to enjoy that anyway. They ate quickly and got ready for bed...he showered after her and quickly got into bed with her, more than happy to cuddle up and let her play around on his chest. He could keep the thing unbuttoned this time, since he'd gotten dressed with no where to go. He chuckled lightly at her comment and nodded happily, eyes glittering happily. He was just as excited as she was....their own house. And it was beautiful. "I know," he chirped happily. "I can wait to decorate," he admitted with a light chuckle. He was artsy, and painting and decorating was admittedly pretty fun....and he was looking forward to having some fun with it all.

Mari smiled gently to the boy in agreement. "I'm sure you'll make the place look wonderful! I want to have a little herb garden in the front of the kitchen... and Silas's room needs to be painted all cute, too!" She fussed happily as she went to press a kiss to his lips. Her hand was still trailing about, obviously very content with everything. She felt better after a little bit of food... maybe she'd been forgetting to eat or something... nah, that was it. Again, maybe the stress of everything had been a bit much. But she was happy to relax now... in their own little room... man, this time tomorrow, once she sent the money through, they'd have their own house! No doubt they would want to start getting it ready to move into as soon as they could. It normally took months for this sort of thing to happen, but they'd just gotten, so, so lucky, she supposed. She rested her head on his shoulder, and her hand was still wondering around his chest... she really was very happy with this all. "I can't wait!" She chirped happily.

Sage hummed lightly and nodded in response to the girl's comments. He really was just so excited about everything. He'd sketch up some idea for paint and whatnot while she worked the next day...they'd talked about some themes and stuff like that for a while, and he had some idea that he really liked...and he hoped she liked them too. He was open for criticism, though, of course. "Me either," he hummed with a yawn, cuddling up and closing his eyes. He was excited, but he was also tired right about then, and found himself drifting off rather quickly, sort of just hoping Mari was done talking, becasue he wasn't exactly paying much attention to anything she was saying anymore.
