Adele heard fast, light footfalls, and turned to see Alban running towards her in a neat black suit. She pulled back from Caelan and picked him up, spinning him around in a hug. "Now that you're queen will I be king?" He asked. Adele laughed. "No, Alban. There's no king right now." She shot a glance towards Caelan. "Hopefully soon." |

Alban looked up at Caelan with a cute but scrutinizing expression. "Hold up, how do you know that? You not been alive long nuff to see last prince, right? Is you tryin to make me feel good?" He paused, then smiled. "But you is right. I am the best prince." He struck a pose that he hoped made him look like a heroic princely figure. Adele held back a laugh. |
