Mari held onto the boy as Chaos sniffed at him... she looked over to Sage with a bit of a smile. "Well we can do that then!" She chirped happily to the boy. When Silas went to reach out to the horse, she hummed quietly before gently rubbing his nose. "I swear, Sage, if you make me buy this child a pony when he's older," she started to threat with a bit of a chuckle. It might be nice, though... their child and Sage having something in common. It would be wonderful.

Sage chuckled lightly and grinned over at the girl before going back to adding the final details onto the painting happily. He chuckled lightly at the start of Maris threat and glanced over at the two of them and the stallion as he started to clean up the paints. "What will you do, hmm," he asked, eyes starting to glitter in a more mischievous manner, going over to sit down next to the horse and his wife and son happily. Chaos sort of flopped over to half lean against him and rested his head on his leg, sort of like a big dog. "You're rediculous," he huffed to the horse, but wrapped his arms around the stallions head with a chuckle anyway.

Mari to rolled her eyes at his cheeky tone, but chuckled softly. "Well, not a lot. Just know the pony won't be coming from me," she teased him before shaking her head gently. It would be nice for Silas to have a pony of his own, though... he'd love it. He and Sage could go out for rides, and they could keep said pony until they had another child, and pass it on... it would be sweet, and a way to get the children out of the house. Well, that was if they even liked horses. They might take after her and be more nervous of them, in which case they could learn to cook and bake with her.

Sage chuckled lightly and smiled softly over at the girl and child, and the horse admittedly too. Giving the children a pony might be nice....Silas certainly liked the animals. But he was still less than a year old as of right then. "I think that decision is one well have to make once he's a bit older," he chuckled lightly. Then he looked down at chaos and patted him. "Alright ya big lug....I gotta go work," he laughed lightly.

Mari nodded in agreement. It wasn't like they could afford very much at the moment anyway... and they certainly couldn't invest in a pony that their boy might not like. Or that he couldn't ride and care for. She just thought it would be fun for the future. But that would be up to Sage, because she didn't really have much to do with the horses. "You know what I meant... not right now, not at all," she mused lightly to the boy before shaking her head. She smiled when he set himself, a bit of a chuckle escaping her... she moved to peck his cheek, but went to drop Silas off at the doctors... the old man was certainly happy to have him for a little while, though he was trying his hardest to hide it.

Sage chuckled lightly and nodded. "Oh, I know," he mused, moving himself out from underneath chaos, causing the horse to snort and toss his head but follow sage back to his paddock willingly. He took the halter off and stored it safely in the barn after patting the horse again, then went about his usual chores in the yards and barn while Mari dropped Silas off. Once he was done, he sort of used the hose to wash his face and hands off, and fix his hair so it looked less like he was just hit by a four horse wagon and more like he was only in a slight scuffle with someone. He shrugged once it got there, not even trying to settle it all the way before heading out and meeting Mari partway back, at the gate. He had drug the painting with him so they could put it in the house on the way.

Mari made sure Silas was all settled before bidding him a goodbye and trotting down to the gate to wait for Sage... she was done up well enough anyway, considering it was Sages birthday and tried to put a bit of effort into him. She soon saw him, and gave a bit of a chuckle to the boy as she wandered up to him to meet him in the middle. She ran her hands though his hair as she tried to get it to settle, but soon chuckled and moved to peck his lips, her arms resting on his shoulders with a laugh. "I married a delinquent," she accused with him of a laugh. "Come on, let's get going," she told him with a happy smile.

Sage grinned happily over at Mari when he saw her wandering towards him, and then ducked his head with a slight chuckle when she tried to sort his hair out....no one could really do that, and he'd given up trying a while back. Not that he'd ever really tried all too hard, but still. He hummed happily at her kiss, a grin still on his face. "Maybe, but you love this delinquent," he chuckled lightly, nodding at her next comment and taking her hand as they wandered down towards the town. "Where are we eating," he asked. He had to drop the painting off, of course, but after that they were going somewhere...he didn't really care where...but he did wonder if she had a plan. "And don't say wherever I want...pick a place you think I'd like," he added with a chuckle.

Mari rolled her eyes, but leaned in to press a soft kiss to his lips. She did, she loved his way too much, and she wasn't going to stop even if he was a bit of a delinquent. She smiled softly to him before shaking her eyes. "I know, I know," she chuckled and went to peck his nose before padding off and into town with a happy looking smile. She frowned when he said she could pick, and looked around with a bit of a hum... well, it'd have to be somewhere nice for once. She shrugged and pointed to a nice looking Italian place... it certainly smelled good. "Why don't we go there? Then we can go get a drink later," she chirped to him.

Sage chuckled at the girl's comment and then let out a happy hum at her kisses, his mischievous grin turning into his usual dumb one he got whenever she kissed him. He nodded happily in agreement when she suggested the restaurant and drink, nudging her lightly. "We could stay the night at the house, and get the night to ourselves after that," he added in an admittedly rather mischievous manner. If they were going to have a drink or two, that may be a good idea. Besides, they were close to the place, since they were picking a restaurant close since they had to drop the painting off before they could go anywhere. He set it down on the front porch, where no one could really see it, and then they wandered down to the restaurant happily, finger entwined as they wandered over.
