Mari smiled softly to him after a moment or two. "I'm scared, I need you there with me," she chuckled lightly to him before shaking her head. She didn need him there with her, but not because she was scared. She just didn't particularly want to be alone, because if something was up then Sage could sort it out for her, just the way she had for him. She was just nervous of it all, she supposed... doctors only ever had bad news. She didn't want to process bad news by herself.

Sage grunted softly and nodded. Though, he couldn't help but chuckle slightly. The doctor was very nice....unless of course you pissed him off....then he was quite scary...but she knew him rather well, so he wasn't sure why she was so scared of going to the doctor. But either way, he would of course go with her if she wanted him there. Even if it was just because she wanted his company as they walked down to the ward if nothing else. He didn't mind...in fact, he loved doing anything with her. "He'll probably just give you a pill for the headaches or whatever and leave it at that," he mused lightly. He did want to know what was up though, so he definitely would go with her. "Don't you worry, you accepted me and now you're stuck with me," he joked lightly.

Mari groaned quietly to him before shaking her head. "I know I know, and he's nice enough, I've just always hated places like that," she chuckled quietly. She should trust the doctor more than enough, but trusting people like that had always ended badly for her, and but it was fine... he really was a wonderful person, but that didn't stop her slight fear. "We can go along later," she murmured softly. "If you don't have anything else to do?" She asked quietly. He might want to work on the house... that was fine, but she needed to go get baby Silas anyway.

Sage hummed lightly and nodded. He could understand a senseless fear, he supposed, since he himself was absolutely terrified of small spaces. He just really, really hated them. Did it make sense? No. Did he know that? Yes. Did it change anything? Nope. Not even a little, though he did wish he wasn't like that. Well, there were a lot of things he whished weren't the way they were....the way he was. But he couldn't change any of them, so he'd resolved to just suck it up and deal with it a very long time ago. He hummed lightly and nodded when she said they could go later and then rolled into his back with a sigh. "We should get going soon anyway," he agreed. It was late morning by then, and he was getting hungry....the house had no food in it yet, so they'd have to go to the castle for breakfast (or lunch, he supposed, since they'd slept through breakfast) anyway. And he did want to get back to Silas...they'd just barely gotten back from leaving him, after all.

Mari nodded and went to press a soft kiss to his lips before going to grab him his shirt and pants. "Let's get going then," she hummed lightly to him after a moment or two and grabbed her own dress. She crawled out of the tent, then helped put it wa way before wandering hand in hand back toward the castle... she was so excited to not have to be there every night. Their room was so small, and there really wasn't much time for both her and Sage and the baby. They'd have a decent room now... and Silas would grow up with his own space. That was for sure exciting.

Sage felt his normal grin drift over his face in response to her kiss and took his clothes back from the girl when she handed them out to him. He got dressed in a somewhat decent time, considering he was definitely still sleepy. But by the time they'd gotten up and had put the tent away, he was mostly awake. Well, he was as awake as he could get without food. Or a fight....but food was more likely to happen, and he was perfectly fine with that. He really was excited about the house though...it would be so nice to have a place of their own. And their own space within that space. It was all going so well, and he couldn't wait to surprise Mari with it finished and they could move in. He'd miss his old rooms in the castle, a bit....but he would still be there each day, especially for now and a while longer, so he was alright with it. He'd sort of given up his old room in the ward to sleep with Mari anyway. He'd just have to clear it all out. They were back soon enough, and he grabbed an apple for them to munch on as they made their way back to the ward. He ended up going faster as they went, really just excited to scoop Silas up once they got there, much to the baby's delight. The doctor seemed happy to see them too, and grunted when he saw them walk in.

Mari trotted along happily next to her husband, more than excited to get back to their child. God, she didn't think she could love anything more than she loved that baby. She loved Sage, of course she did, but this was different. She greeted the doctor happily before going to see the the child, who was sat in the crib and playing with some blocks. He babbled happily to she the two of them, reaching his hands to come up. "Hey baby boy," she chirped happily as she went to fuss over him. "Was he good?" She asked the old man with a cocked head before going back to playing with the child.

Sage scooped the baby up as soon as the little man reached up for them, though of course he let Mari fuss with him too, he didn't keep him all to himself. The doctor nodded in response to Maris comment, grunting in a way sage knew meant he was happy. "Your boy doesn't act up much," the old man told her. "He's always perfectly fine." He loved the boy more than he let on...he loved the two of them more than he let on too, he supposed. Sage sort of shifted his weight back and forth to rock the baby absentmindedly, but after their greetings he shot Mari a pointed look. She'd mention that she wasn't feeling well while they were here, or he'd do it for her. He assumed she'd rather just do it herself, but he did want her to get checked out.

Mari nodded in agreement as she fussed over the child, who had a very funny smile across his face. He was good... and never really caused any issues for anyone. He only cried if he really needed anything, but nor her or Sage let it get to that point. "He's a good lad," she told him happily. She was clearly very proud of their little creation... he was going to be the most wonderful person. She smiled happily after a moment or two, though, then it soon disappeared when Sage looked over at her. Nope, she didn't want to say anything. If she looked well enough, then that was enough for her... she'd just dose up on pain relief and leave it there. She gently nudged his shoulder, kind of shrinking a little bit... she didn't really want to say anything, mostly because she didn't want to waste anyone's time.

Sage sighed slightly when Mari nudged him, and would have rolled his eyes if she wasn't actually, like, genuinely upset about asking the doctor for help. Well, fine then...he'd do it. He didn't want it to be something and for it to get worse when it could be helped or treated now, while she was still okay-ish. "Mari's been having some headaches and stomach pain here and there," he told the doctor. "And hasn't wanted to come in. Says she feels fine enough," he informed him before shrugging. "I wanted her to come and get checked out anyway...don't want it to get worse. She's looked like something chewed her up and spat her out at night a few nights too often for my liking," he hummed, the last part more of a joke to try and cheer Mari up a bit than anything. The doctor grunted and looked over at Mari with a slight nod, though he seemed to already know what was going on. "Describe that a bit more, my dear," he asked the girl.
