He stilled for a moment and sighed.Realizing he needed the breifcase now more then ever.Caden heard what Rose said. "Makes sense but,even if it was my last wish,would you still stay even if I asked you to go?Because thats how its going to be.I won't know if im going to make it out alive or not so when I say go,I mean it.We'll both have to get used to that,as he'll take me again.I don't know when but soon,just soon."

(Night, Fern)

"Who's he?" She asked, standing up. "And why? If they wanted you, then why let you go? And if they want me, then they would keep you then too." She said, trying to figure it out. "What part are we missing?" She muttered, starting to pace

"That's the thing." He said,voice firm yet stressed. "The same thing I've been trying to figure out this whole time.He,is a gang leader who almost killed me.He plays with his victims life and death.And yes they would keep me but I refused to talk since I did'nt have anything to say and he said 'bring him back once hes learned' and now im scared to fucking death that he meant hes going to do something to scare the shit out of me and then use that aganst me." Caden explained,worry pounding over his voice.

"What the fuck." She said, sitting down again. "Why? Why did this happen to us?!" She asked nobody in particular. She leaned on Caden again, still scared but feeling slightly better now that he was here.

"I don't know.We can't do anything but flee and worry." Caden announced,defeated.He looked out the window,seeing the stars and the moon.

"But you need to always tell me if you're thinking you will never coming back. Promise me that, Caden." She said, taking his hand. "This isn't just going to suddenly stop anytime soon. It's just gonna spiral out of control and I can only hope that both of us make it out of this."

"Alright,I promise." Caden shifted,causing his back to funch in pain.He groaned but continued. "Of course its not going to stop soon.This will last for at least a year." Caden said relunclyctly.

"Just be careful." She said, moving to rest against the headboard of the bed. "That's all I ask when you go into the fucking gunfire." She added, "And I don't promise to always leave you. If this goes on for too long, i'm going to stay with you." She insisted, tipping her head to rest on the headboard. "I was almost convinced you were going to die. Of course i'm glad you didn't, but I was fucking terrified." She said, pushing back tears

"sigh of course you'll come with me.Not until you can up your gun game though." He stood up and walked to the door. "They'll kill you instantly if you aren't 100% accuracy,you know." Caden deadbolted the door.

"I know. They're trained to kill, so that's a given." She said, quickly wiping her eyes
