It had been an eventful few hours. She ended up taking the same path as the man she had been watching earlier (god that sounded wrong) and caught up with him. Xander started talking first, so she wasn't that much of a creep. As it turned out, he liked her. And wasn't a prick. So she still ended up going to the party after all- but she hadn't lied. She just wasn't going with him. Xander was in a custom tailored black shirt- and he looked great. Trixie was in a tight, slightly ruffled navy dress that fell to a little above her mid-thigh. Her hair was in a nice bun and she had put on some makeup that seriously flattered her. She looked effortless, even walking in four inch heels. She had taken a little too long getting ready, which is why they were a half hour or so late, but apparently nothing interesting happened then anyway. She was lightly holding Xander's arm as he led her in, and a few people looked their way.

Matt watched as Kiara finished up her showing-of-cats and stuck her phone away, turning to actually give him attention, which he was very much grateful for. He couldnt have a girl sat on his lap and not pay him any attention now could he, that would look bad. He catered to her conversation about just about every topic under the sun, throwing in the occasional, slightly sexual, compliment now and then-only happy to have it reciprocated. Though, after about five or so minutes she was called up to the stage to sort something out, and he was left by himself. As she left, she whispered something to him, pointing in a different direction. Something about..."isnt that the girl you were with earlier?" followed by a "she looks..great" before the model finally left. Matt settled himself at the stool of the bar before turning round to acknowledge what she had said, raising his eyebrows in shock as his eyes landed on the pair. Trixie and..Xander? He let a smile break out onto his lips at the sight of her with his friend, though masked it quickly by turning back around. Oh what great decisions that girl made, huh.

Trixie was engaged in conversation with Xander, following him easily as he led her to a table. She glanced up to see an unfortunately familiar face before he turned her around. Her smile dimmed slightly. "So, this is your friend?" She asked, half teasingly. Xander nodded and gestured to him. "Yeah. This is Matt, Trixie." Xander shot her an innocent smile as he pulled a chair out for her, which she sat in. "We've met." She said rather flatly. Xander quickly placed himself in the chair beside her, which was quite close. So much so, they were almost touching. He gave her a slightly amused smile and wrapped his arm around her, looking at Matt to confirm.

Matt stared at Xander almost in disbelief, unsure of whether to say a spiteful comment or be friendly with them both. In the end, he decided on the easier option, seeing as they were surrounded by famous people, and went with being as nice as his personality would let him stretch too. "Yeah, we've met." Was all he could get out, swivelling his glass around in his hands, praying for every second Kiara would come off stage. It didnt seem that way though, as she stood in the spotlight on the stage, seemingly practising various..model things. He kept his gaze on her as he spoke again, half because she, in his opinion, was gorgeous, and half because just looking at Trixie and Xander was irritating. "Without you snapping some stupid reply back at me," he started, breaking his gaze from Kiara to look at Trixie, then to Xander, "you've made a wonderful choice." he finished, directing his words towards his friend. He watched as a rather tall blonde model he had no idea the name of, perched herself next to him, and turned back to the pair, giving them a fake smile. "Have fun." he said flatly, then letting himlf get dragged into flirty conversation with the random girl.

Xander nodded slowly, looking back and forth between the two. "Oh. I see." He seemed to catch wind of the tension and stayed silent for a few moments, preparing to speak when Matt found some words. Trixie gave him a flat look and rolled her eyes with a scoff as he started, leaning slightly more into Xander. He simply kept his arm wrapped around her, tilting his head at his friend. She narrowed her eyes at the comment, promptly refusing to take the compliment. Xander seemed surprised but gave Matt a sheepish grin anyway. "Oh. Thanks?" He chuckled, turning to Trixie. She simply shrugged and looked back at Matt, speaking a in a falsely sweet tone. "You too." After, Xander dropped his tone and attempted to ask her about it, but Trixie shrugged it off and kissed him instead. He didn't seem to mind.

Although Matt was highly engaged in this girls conversation after a couple minutes-talking shit about the others was always the best way- the kiss going on behind him was getting under his skin. Why? He had no idea. But he wasnt going to let on at all it was irritating him. Instead, he finished the last of his drink and stood up, insanely relieved Kiara had finally stopped talking on stage and had come back down to him. She gave a small shriek, as she aways seemed to do, and kissed his cheek-another habit, one which he didnt seem to mind much. He reyes however, were set on Trixie, and it took Matt a good while to prise her away from the bar, only pulling her attention with travelling hands. The girl wasnt staring too hard at her, not at all. Enough to look like a fan though. She gave her a small smile before finally focusing her attention back to Matt, who in the worst timing, had been called on stage to "take pictures" ANyone else would find that flattering- he however, didnt. He was basically being publicly used because the main model was interested in him, he hated it.

Trixie had also ended up in her partner's lap after a few minutes, and they were... quite interested in each other. Him a little more so than her, enough to be noticeable. Her attention got yanked away from him at the small shriek, and she looked up to see Kiara wrapped around Matt with the slightest of frowns. She blinked in surprise as he noticed she was being... not quite stared at, but definitely acknowledged. And not by the person she expected it from. She offered the girl a small smile in return before Xander got annoyed with her lack of affection and pulled her into another makeout session.

Most of the time spent on stage really wasn't as irritating as he thought it would be. He just had to stand there with his arm round various girls, give fake smiles and be sure not to look down at the people below, just towards the cameras. Though, the one time he did look down angered him all over again. There was definitely no need for that much affection between Trixie and Xander, they had just met. But it wasnt like he could call her a slag stood there with both hands on different girls waists. He gave a sigh as the cameramen informed him he was finished, and he let Kiara take him back down to the bar, passing him heavily filled shot glass. By this time she was most definitely at least quite tipsy, and all he could do was cater to the drunkness with flirty comments. Before she eventually latched her mouth onto his, though that was stopped quite quickly by her boss. Bad image or..whatever.

Trixie found herself getting bored of Xander in spite of herself, opening her eyes just enough to see. It didn't take her long to find Matt, who was standing on stage with his arms slung over and around various models. Suddenly, her interest in Xander picked right back up again, but she found her thoughts trailing off to the other man. The prick. The person who couldn't bother enough to keep his eyes trained on her when someone better walked in the room. She pulled gently away from Xander and shot him a small smile, and they conversed long enough for him to drag her to the bar. Xander dragged them right over to the other pair, and they entered the scene around when they started kissing, them got pulled apart. She smiled in spite of herself, sitting in the chair closest to Kiara, Xander on the other side. "Hello again. I don't think we've met. You're... Kiara, yes?" She asked politely, ignoring Matt quite well.

Matt let out a heavy groan when Trixie spoke, and she put his head in his hands for a split second, only to be shhushed by Kiara, who seemed unimpressed by his rudeness, as if she was any better. The brunette model turned round to look at Trixie, giving a slightly warmer smile."Yes, and you are?" she asked, her british accent making her sound as formal as possible. Matt sat behind the girl with his hands on her waist, which she at least didnt quite mind, and his gaze was set firmly on Xander. How he hadnt questioned what he had said earlier was beyond him, but all he could really do was push it down. Matt was at least just about to be able to relax when Kiara started up again, not aiting for Trixie to answer, her eyes locked on Trixie's. "I must say you look..pretty" she finished, and all Matt could do at that point was sit there with a flat face.
