The mare backed away at first unsure what he would do until his voice rang through in her mind. "I...I just thought...for years..." She said softly. She sighed softly looking at him as he came closer. She shut her eyes in that moment and reached out to him letting him comfort her and help her calm down. The moment they touched she felt the emotions melt away in an instant. Then something else, a different feeling rose to the surface. Warmth rose through her body and she felt safe then. She welcomed his touch and she took a step closer resting her head against his chest and she sighed as she melted underneath him. She couldn't help it. She hadn't had contact with anyone in so long, and her feelings for him had grown over the last couple days. He made her feel....happy.

She wasn't trying to push him into anything, in fact, she still in the back of her mind thought he was going to leave anyways. Even if they did have something growing between them. She always thought she would be alone. Everyone around her would just leave. She was unwanted. So why would he want her? She stood there crying softly. "I'm sorry, I'm such a mess. I just didn't think it was possible....I had always wanted a family, To be a mother. But years ago I just accepted I'd never have anything. Or anyone. I guess I'm just shocked. I don't want to believe it. I'm so happy but sad at the same time..I know that I'm never going to get a chance to be a mom or have a family or anyone to love me..So In a way this doesn't really change anything." She said as she pulled away and looked down between them. She looked up at him and sighed. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that." She whispered.

Their noses softly touched and it sent a spark all through the stallion's body, softly he pulled away but audits soon went in alert as she leend into his chest, shocked as she did so. His body slightly tensed, though he wanted to flee, he didn't, he stood still and comforted her. Holding his frame just above her neck, his body relaxed the more she stayed there, nostrils flaring softly, closing his hues as he listened to her soft crying.

Red hues glanced to her frame as she pulled away, he shook his body and softly licked his lips with a small snort "It's okay" he assured her with another small smile. Though, hearing the negative words once more about herself caused him to pin an audit some "You should be happy, being able to birth a foal is a blessing..." though his words trailed off some before he spoke again quickly changing the direction "You can be a mother now, it does change things, you get a shot at your dream."

The mare sighed gently. Her audits perking up slightly and she listened to his words. He was right, she should be happy. She smiled a bit and nodded before looking around. "Yeah. I should." She said. She turned and walked away a little bit and over to the waters edge. "I hope you're right." She said. She looked at the horizon as the moon began to settle into its place in the sky. "Yes, It is. I get a second chance." She said gently. Her orbs looking at the moon with hope. Glancing back at him she smiled gently.

She watched him a moment. He looked so handsome standing there. So proud. Smart and strong. She remembered what he had said earlier about love and all that. She frowned. What had he gone through before they met. Why was he alone, he wasn't as mean as she thought he was when they first met. Realizing now he must have been through a lot to have had so much anger bottled up. He had walls up she wanted to understand why. She turned to him. "What happened?" She asked curiously. "I mean...If you don't feel comfortable telling me you don't have to." She said gently.

He let out a breathe of relief at her acknowledgement of her 2nd chance. Red hues watched her as she paced to the waters edge once more, audits perking as the moonlight danced over them. Vader flashed her another small smile, as their orbs locked for a brief moment, lowering his frame to scrach his face on his leg. Content in the peacefull astomophere the night was giving them. "uhm?" he snorted as he lifted his frame once more in her direction. A brow rose in question as he took a few steps towards her "What do you mean?" he nickered with an odd expression on his frame.

Raven looked back at him with soft eyes. She motioned for him to come stand by her. "Well, I told you about my life before now. I was wondering what happened to you. You made a few comments about love and whatnot earlier and It got me thinking. We don't have to talk about it if you don't want to." She said gently. She flicked her tail slightly before remembering she was in heat and pinned her long silky tail out of respect to the stallion. She didn't want to tease him or make him uncomfortable.

She lowered her head. "Sorry, I forgot." She replied gently, hoping that he wouldn't be upset at her for releasing her scent near him. She looked back out to the calm quiet ocean as the sound of waves gently crashing around them created a relaxing atmosphere.

Vader inched a few more steps towards the mare, so they would be side by side once more, but he kept space between them. Looking out into the deep dark waters, the night made it hard to see anything, only the white of the salt in the waves could be seen crashing against the sands. Audits softly pinned at the thought of her question, feeling his body tense as he refused to make eye contact "It's... not something I tend to speak about... nor have I ever.. I'm not a good stallion Raven..." he nickered softly. The thought of his past hurt him, it's why he was so isolated, why he was alone, not only did he knew he deserved it, he promised to never do anything like that again. Here he was letting this mare get close, when he shouldn't be. Red hues soon turned cold and narrowed at the ocean before him, hatered for himself, shaking his frame, her scent filled the air around them once more, but he was strong enough to ignore it. Shifting his weight, he sighed calmly "You are fine, it's natural for you to release it" his frame lowering to the waters, allowing the water to softly touch his muzzle, as his plumage softly swished in the wind around them.

She understood why he was so closed up about his past. She had been to before she met him and really got to trust him. Her blue orbs glanced at him and she sighed. She suddenly hated the feeling as though everything between them had become tense. She felt guilty for asking but she just wanted to understand him a little bit better. To get to know him. "Vader...it's okay if you dont want to tell me. I don't want to push you away or pressure you into anything. I just wanted to understand you a little bit better. I'm sorry I asked and made you uncomfortable. But you're not a bad stallion. You may think that, but I know you have your guard up. You're trying to protect yourself from the pain. Whatever happened I can see it hurts you. Whatever you did I can tell you regret. But, that doesn't mean you are a bad stallion. The fact that you regret what happened proves that. You carry that pain and burden with you and that alone proves you're anything but. You made a mistake, everyone does. I'm not going to judge you." She said gently and nuzzled him before pulling back at looking at the moonlight on the water. Her mane and tail gently tousled by the salty breezes.

He stood frozen in place, hues still staring out at the waters, though his audits flicked at her every word. What she was saying could be true, but he knew if he told her she'd hate him, be scared, he sore to never speak of it, this should go to the grave with him, but her calmness and ressurance made him want to speak it, to finally get it off his chest, for someone else to hear the dirty he had done. Closing his hues, he let out a deep long sigh, feeling her nuzzle him eased him some before looking over at her with pain in his eyes. "You will judge me, not all mistakes can be forgiven... it's best you don't get too close with me" he nickered softly before turning his back to her with his audits pinned with shame. "I won't share my burden with you... it's mine to bare alone" words whispered from his muzzle once more yet softer this time, almost inaudioable to hear.

Raven watched him with sad eyes. Her audits flicked toward him as he moved away. She watched him with a bit of sadness. It wasn't just his reaction, but his words that made her feel bad for him. "Vader....I will not judge you. Because I can't. It's not my place, it happened a while ago and had nothing to do with me. You don't have to tell me anything. But please, if you're not comfortable telling me, at least talk to someone about it one day. Because holding it deep down inside is only going to hurt you more. I don't want you to live the rest of your life bottling up your pain. It's not healthy. You deserve happiness Vader...everyone does." She said gently walking beside him and nuzzling his neck gently. She stood by his side for a moment before giving him space. "I mean it." She murmured softly in a calming voice. She glanced over at him before walking over to a spot and laying down.

The stallion's hues softly opened once he felt the mare at his side nuzzling him once more, his pelt softly twitched at her touch, though he welcomed it, he also didn't want to give her any confusing signals, he stood still and let her brush against him, her scent tickling his muzzle once more but, he had to fight it, for it wasn't her fault. Her words floated into one ear and out the other, blinking softly, he took her scent in one last time as she walked away, he quietly watched her lay down in the sands.

Dropping his frame, he sighed once more pulling his hues away from the exhausted mare, he couldn't sleep and so he choose to pace down the shore line away from the mare, still in sight where she could see him however..

Large hooves dragged in the sand as it clung to his pelt, audits softly pinning as he spoke harsh to himself "what an idoit... what are you doing... if you tell her you ruin everything you been keeping silent for years" he hissed at himself with a clack of his teeth. He wasn't stupid he knew Raven fancied him but couldn't understand why. He was way older than her, he scuffed up from his past, he was reserved but, yet she keeps getting close and he's allowing it. He came to a stop with a stomp of his hoof. Audits softly perked, as he look back, the mare was half a foot ball feild away from him, laying peacefully, he sighed once more "You'll just wind up hurting her...she wants what you can't give her..." he nickered to himself, not that he couldn't but knew he didn't have the courage to try again...

The stallion softly pawed a dent in the sand for him to lay down in, lowering his large body to the ground with a soft thud, teh sand gritting against his pelt felt uncomfortable but knew it would do for now. Letting out a yawn, he glanced to the mare once more, before resting his frame over his knees and drifting off to sleep.
