"I think I disagree on the rogue part," still handsome, he was too clean for ruggish though. "Should I come up with something else?" He tipped his head, his right eye catching the light.

Watching the two pick on each other reminded him of his childhood days. He'd like to say him and his brother were more mature than that but that probably wasn't the case. "Depends on the work." Cocking an eyebrow as he spoke. "I do not mind it, usually. Granted I much rather partying like animals." He grinned.

Vance gave a half-huff of offense. "Well, at least you agree on the important parts." He chuckled, shaking his head lightly at his question. "Nah. I like it. I don't usually get pet names like that." He said calmly, stretching out for a moment and glancing to the side. He paused and then straightened adruptly, clearing his throat and turning to face the bar. He was suddenly alert, thinking to himself as his new friend spoke. "Well, I have to say I agree. Unfortunately, mine isn't nearly as enjoyable as you make yours seem, and speaking of it- I gotta go." He said, standing and casting a glance over his shoulder at the two extravagant new arrivals in the room; who happened to be his parents. Needless to say, they wouldn't appreciate it to see Vance acting so... casually in public. He set a hand lightly on the elf's shoulder and gave it a gentle squeeze, offering him a smile. "My fun is over. Have a nice night." He said simply, walking off to go act more like the royal descendant he was supposed to be.

"Then I might keep it." He smiled faintly, keeping the kind look on his face as he leaned slightly on the bar, looking relaxed somehow but still appropriately settled. At least he thought so. But he jumped a little as his company startled into alertness, mirroring the pose, less the stiff board though.

Following his gaze, two intimidating figures it seemed. He didn't know who but he wouldn't ask either. "A shame. Good to talk with you." He standing up in time with the vampire, excepting a handshake, he seemed like the type but honestly the good grip on his shoulder worked better. "Have fun." He patted the man on the back as he moved off, splitting too.

He'd had his fun. If you could call being scolded fun. He would try not to lose any sleep over that but, truth be told it was unlikely. He didn't know if he wanted to return, but for now, he was leaving.

Ariadne was standing tall on the front steps of her manor, right beside Vance, with a servant on either side. For lack of a better word, she was dreading the rest of the day. While she was usually exceptional with foreign diplomatic relations, her social battery was utterly exhausted from being shuttled to and from the Capital for the past few days, something for publicity.

Vance, on the other hand, looked utterly at ease as he awaited the foreign party's carriage, standing straight and doing his best not to be himself, but rather the statue he was supposed to be. He was dressed in what would be considered an expensive casual outfit, mainly in a slate color with a white button-up beneath it.

Ariadne was considerably more noticable in a floor length plum colored dress; it was narrow and simple in an understated way, similiar to the easy but elegant bun on her head. Not too fancy, but not casual, either.

Today wasn't a day who was hugely looking forward to but it wasn't distressing entirely other than the fact that he knew this house. Though all memory had escaped him about who the people that owned this manor were it'd been a while since the last party and he wouldn't say he remembered it all too well. It was vastly different in broad daylight.

A young man stepped out first, skipping the step entirely. Wearing something that looked dressy. A one shoulder back cape over his non-dominant arm, the strap over his chest. His pants were black, his leather footware and belt both dark brown. But his splash of color was the red-pink tinted shirt, it looked like linen, light and slightly poofy, the sleeves were rolled up.

He kept the door steady as an older man came behind him, less eagerly. The eldest of the two was more important, the younger as a right hand to assist and accompany. They are not related but walk side by side up to the large building.

The older one was in light green, tan tones, basically a poncho draped over his shoulders, but a similar style of clothing was shared between the two. He was gaining in years, (looks around like 50), but pretty mobile as he came up the stairs, bowing between the two with servants several stairs beneath.
One came up two stairs at a time- if you can guess which- and stopped below Larach(Larak). Easily sinking to a knee on the steps as a sign of respect. A hand splayed beside him to keep him steady as he rose in time with the wise man.

(Mustn't just be the three of them yknow- have their parents or some other important fellers be hanging out inside waiting for the guests to be greeted)

Ariadne took in a deep breath as the first of two men exited the carriage, wearing a warm smile as they made their way up the steps. Vance had a similiar expression. She dipped her head gratefully in acknowledgement for the greeting, mirroring the formal action with a curtsy- Vance with a bow.

Ariadne was obviously the one leading this interaction, especially when her smile brightened to show off two pearly canines in a charming grin. "Good day, Sir Larach. I hope your journey was well." She greeted softly, turning and gesturing into the manor lightly. "Mother and Father are just inside, if you would follow me, Sirs." She said simply, doing her best to be curt without being rude. Her eyes lingered faintly on the man behind the most important figure, his name evading her as she turned to lead the way inside, Vance following suit in silence.

The elder had a gravelly voice, an accent on his tongue but he was easy to understand as he returned her welcome. "Thank you for inviting the Imedal." He tipped his head, a mystery to his tone, having a peaceful presence.
The taller elf stood tall, his braid swaying over the right side of his face while he came up beside Larach while they followed the young pair inside. His eyes had been on the girl's shiny pointy teeth. Just a little surprised when he noticed them. He'd get used to it eventually. Reining himself in when she looked at him.

His mind was mildly occupied with the interior being so different as well when there wasn't a hundred or more gathered around, with the real sunlight pooling in.

Determined to be silent, don't speak unless spoken to, he didn't speak as they entered the house. A calm look on his face, his eyes usually aimed at the ground when he wasn't admiring the room's emptiness.

The indoors of the Thorne Estate were grand and made to be beautiful whether empty or at full capacity; the entrance hall was themed with mahogany laid floors and an ivory color on the walls, with large windows to let sunlight stream in every meter or two. And by large, that means almost floor to 15-20 foot high ceiling.

Ariadne was a half step in front of Vance as they walked, purposefully, since most countries were ignorant to the matriarchal ways in Epirus; and would almost always address her brother over her unless it was blatantly clear who actually knew what they were doing.

Two dark haired people stood at the end of the Entrance Hall, both wearing calm smiles. Both in their forties or fifties, obviously related to the two younger vampires in the room. Ariadne and Vance both dipped their head as a sign of respect and parted to be out of the way so that the real diplomatic partners could speak.

M "It's good to see you, Larach. We can begin discussions in the dining room, unless you would prefer to get settled in first?" Her mother, presumably, spoke, her voice almost as melodic as her daughters.

((I'm gonna say it's an overnight stay? And T can't be involved in all the discussions so he's just being toured around the manor by Adne for... reasons? If that makes any sense))

Larach was third in the row of people, a couple strides behind those leading. Keeping track of everything, he was versed in most things. This wasn't the first time he had met with Epirian ranks thankfully.
Th same could not be said about his hand though. He simply followed the leader, who bowed infront of the parents. He moved to one knee again. It was starting to look like a reflex when in the presence of important people. Only rising once the woman spoke, which silently perplexed him.

L "Thank you your Grace. It is mutual." he smiled faintly. "We can start now as long as you see fit that my company can take care of our housing." He suggested, gesturing behind him to the respectfully postured man slightly behind him, to his right. Who did not make eye contact, glancing up every so often to see what they look like.

Ariadne toyed almost imperceptibly with the silk of her dress, gently moving her fingertips in circles on the rich colored fabric. Her eyes lingered faintly on the lower level elf, and she seemed somewhat deep in thought. He looked...somewhat familiar.

Her Mother answered his response with a pleasant smile and dipped her head in response. M "Of course. Ariadne can show him around the manor and to your living quarters." She nodded. M "Meanwhile, we can hopefully have this resolved in a few hours and you can relax." She chuckled, turning to lead the older man out of the room, the man beside her following suit in silence. Vance also made his way out after, walking quickly in hopes to escape the dreadful option of a tour.

It left Ariadne essentially alone with this elf, and she offered him a light smile, a little less formal now that his superior was gone. "Shall we?" She asked softly, glancing through the doors behind her.
