Mari smiled gently to the boy after a moment or two, a soft sigh escaping her. "Thank you," she chirped to her mother as the woman placed the basket down next to her. She went to stop Silas from playing with Sages IV, but by then Sage had already done it. She went to fuss over the child after a bit, her mother smiling happily at the sight. "Thank you for bringing him. It was such a rush yesterday," she murmured quietly as she gently stroked the child's hair. The woman smiled and nodded happily in response. "It's more than fine. I'll leave you all to it. Glad you feel better, Sage," she called through to the boy as she turned to leave with a bit of a hum.

Sage nodded in agreement with the girl when she thanked her mother, then chuckled at Mari's obvious delight at having their baby back with them. He always enjoyed the two people he loved most spending time together. Of course, he loved other family members just as much, but this was a little bit different. No more or less, just a different type of love. He nodded in agreement with her next comment about everything being rushed, and waved when the woman turned to leave. He held up Silas's hand to have him wave at her too with a slight giggle.

Mari watched the woman walk off before turning to wrap her arms tightly around Silas. "Hey baby boy," she hummed happily before letting the child go and then clinging onto her husband. "I want you to stay here tonight, Sage. No reason for you to leave and get sick again," she told him with a gentle sigh. "If the doctor can watch you that would be best, don't you think?" She asked with a cocked head.

Sage grinned at the two of them while Mari spoke to the little bit and then wrinkled his nose slightly and shrugged. "all he's doing is giving me medicine...I can take that at home, can't I," he asked. He didn't mind staying here, of course, but he would prefer to be at home and curled up in his own bed with Mari. Granted, this was sort of his own bed still, but the house bed was more comfortable.

Mari rolled her eyes at him before shaking her head. "It would just be for tonight, Sage," she murmured softly. If he really didn't want to stay, that was fine... but she wished he would. She was nervous about things getting worse again, and she didn't want anything to be... bad. She couldn't afford to stress herself out, either. "It's alright if not though hun," she the added softly to the boy. "But we can both stay if that's the issue," the girl told him with a small smile.

Sage grunted and nodded. She seemed to really want him to stay, so he could put up with it. "I'll stay," he hummed lightly, moving to rest his head on her shoulder again and closing his eyes. They'd barely done anything, and her mother hadn't stayed very long, but he was already exhausted again, and found himself drifting off even as he leaned against Mari. "I don't want to force you two to stay anywhere," he hummed with a yawn. "But you can stay if you want." Really, he'd like for her to stay, but he certainly wasn't going to make her. He liked curling up with her though, especially when he didn't feel too great.

Mari gave a relieved smiled to the boy when he said he would stay... it just meant that if anything had happened during the night the boy would be cared for. She wouldn't have to worry herself so much. "Thank you," she murmured softly as she wrapped an arms gently around his side, little Silas resting in her lap. "I'll stay," she murmured gently to the boy as she rested her chin on his hesd... she was relieved that he was okay, but in the same hand, she wasn't sure if this thing had actually worked. She could only hope.

Sage hummed happily, though it was a sleepy hum. He nestled in a bit more when she rested her chin on his head, a soft huff of air coming from him as he settled down again and relaxed against her. He let himself drift off again once he was comfortable, and eventually, he was curled up against her flat-out asleep, probably looking quite a bit like a much larger Silas. But he was warm and comfortable, and completely tired by then.

Mari let the boy fall asleep on her, more than content to have her two boys at her side. She did love them, more than words could ever express. She herself eventually slipped off to sleep? Considering the whole pregnancy thing had her exhausted pretty much... always. Sages soft breathing didn't help her tiredness either, rather sent her further to sleep. She was just so happy she wasn't struggling so much this time around with her pregnancy... it was a good thing, because normally she and Sage had stuttered last time.

Sage slept soundly for a while, and when he woke up in the middle of the night, he smiled slightly when he saw that Mari had fallen asleep too, and Silas was resting in-between them happily. He reached over to draw the blanket up and over them before curling back up into her sleepily. He slipped back off to sleep soon enough, which was definitely welcome. He was still tired often, which sort of just came from being sick, but getting a few nights worth of good sleep was helpful. And he was feeling much better than even just a few days before.
