Mari smiled lightly to him, looking happy enough that he'd thought well of the mare. They'd see the other two and he could decide... it didn't make a difference to her, but it was something Sage was passsionate about, and he was clearly giddy about it. "She was pretty, I guess," she teased gently. She didn't really know anything about horses, so all she could say was how pretty they were, or if they were something she'd be inclined to buy herself. She saw a nice little Italian restaurant, which was a nice place... and suddenly she was really wanting spaghetti, too. "Can we eat there?" She asked with a happy smile.

(Yeahh, I like that! We need to have some adventure things going on, so it definitely would be interesting. I wonder if we could have them out on a little family camping trip or something... so in this scenario Mari is recovered and the baby would be staying with her mother, and they could take Silas with them? Possibly could have Silas taken rather the both of them, which could push both Sage and Mari to go find him. Again, I do like your idea so happy to do whatever!)

Sage chuckled lightly and grinned over at the girl. "I'll look at the other two tomorrow, and figure out which one would be best," he chirped happily. He glanced over to where she was pointing when she mentioned lunch and grunted with a nod, swinging chaos and the carriage over in the direction of the building happily. Spaghetti did sound good...it was simple enough too. And cheaper than some other options.

(Camping works! We could do both options where they're both taken but then separated, and Mari finds sage but Silas is gone and they have to go find him???)

Mari smiled when he agreed to the restaurant she'd chosen... she didn't mind where they ste, but she did really suddenly have a huge craving for pasta. She let him help her down, kind of getting comfortable in a chair once sage sorted Chaos out and got herself comfortable in the restaurant. It have been a while since they'd eaten out... at least since she'd gotten pregnant. Whatever, this was a little treat, as they'd both been through it these past few weeks. It would get rough again the next few months, too, when the newborn came along... so they could afford to relax a little bit while they could.

(Yeah, I like the idea of mixing them together! Would be interesting as they promised that nothing like this would happen to their children.)

Sage was more than happy to tie chaos up under a tree and loosen the harness a little bit so it was more comfortable for the animal to graze. He wandered in after that and slid into a booth next to Mari happily. It had been a while since they'd done anything like this, and he was certainly happy to have the day out with her and Silas for a bit. Especially since they'd have their hands full once the new baby came along. He was certainly excited about it, though, and he'd really only get more and more excited as time went on. They'd ordered and gotten their food soon enough, and the past really was delicious. They hadn't been here before, but it was definitely somewhere he wouldn't mind going to again.

Mari followed along happily until they were seated... it was a nice little place, and the food was delicious. She smiled over at Sage once they'd finished, and soon enough they paid before heading back. The next few weeks were... nice, really nice. She still had a few spots where all she could feel was pain, but they weren't very often now. And she couldn't focus on it... now when the child was so close to actually being here with them, to complete their little family. Man, she was so thrilled. It was meant to be born at some point in June... towards the end. She had been waking up earlier, making herself little teas and anything sweet she could find... which was exactly what she was doing now, just trying to get herself energised enough for the day.

Sage was happy enough to follow Mari along, get here whatever she needed or wanted as the weeks past. Though, the early mornings he had to admit weren't his favorite. But, that meant he could get out and take care of the horses and then be back in time for lunch. Which was good, because he didn't want Mari trying to work too much making a full meal by herself. They'd ended up buying the stocky grey mare, as well as a dark chestnut mare that was a draft mix - good for working and hauling as well as riding. Mating her and Chaos would result in a good medium, he thought. But he now had more to take care of too, which menat it was a bit more time than just taking care of Chaos. But the little one was ready to pop out anyday...it was close enough to the due date, in fact, that they were heading over to the doctor's soon, so they were there when it happened.

Mari sat in the kitchen as she nixed together something cold... she'd really taken to drinking the slightly cooler drinks now, and she couldn't tell you why... she supposed it was some sort of craving that'd brought up. Sage was out with the horses, like he normally did now. She wasn't quiet when she woke up in the mornings, so sage didn't really get any other choice but to wake up with her. She'd decided to make up some pancakes and things for Sage, though, considering he never really got a brake anymore. He'd lost s bit of weight, she'd noticed, and she wasn't sure if it wa a because of the fact that he was stressed out with the baby or if he was really just working himself too hard. Whatever, she made them up and waddled over to the barn with some tea in one hand and the pancakes in the other. The palace had been done up nicely now... and she really did think so. It seemed more love now that there were actually horses in there. "Here you go," she hummed gently to the boy as she set herself down on a stool not far away.

Sage had been checking over the little grey mare when he head Mari come into the barn and popped his head out of the stall to greet her. The mare, who he'd named Snowstorm, popped her head out along with him. She'd gained back some weight, and really was very pretty. She was also quite sweet, and everyone had seemed to take a liking to her. She'd been showing signs of being in foal the past week or so, so he was keeping an eye on her. He grinned happily over at Mari when she came in though, and slid out of the stall to go sit down on a bale of hay next to her and take the food. "What made you decide to come all the way down here," he asked with a chuckle. It wasn't easy, he knew that...but he was grateful all the same. He hadn't realized he was hungry until he started eating, and then the food was gone rather quickly.

Mari smiled gently to him after a moment or two, kind of shrugging at his comment. "My gorgeous husband was out working at stupid o'clock in the morning... I had a feeling he hadn't eaten so here we are," she hummed gently as she offered him a hot cup of coffee. "And I've noticed you're a bit... smaller than you were a few weeks back. I don't need you starving yourself hun," she teased him softly as she went to peck his cheek... she knew in the next week or so that she'd be heading back to the doctors ward... she really didn't want to go, so they'd have to enjoy being in the house as much as they could for now. She hoped they could enjoy being here, anyway. Hopefully they wouldn't be fretting too much about this whole birthing business.

Sage chuckled lightly and hummed in fake thought. "And who woke me up at stupid o'clock," he hummed, really just teasing the girl a bit. He didn't mind too much...for that being the worst thing that happened, he really couldn't complain too much about it. He gave her a thankful grin and took the coffee though, looking back up at Snowstorm as she leaned her head out of the stall door to snuffle at the coffee before deciding she wasn't a coffee girl and raised her head, sort of just resting while watching them. Amber had developed quite the relationship with the mare, and was perched on her rump happily, also watching them. She still enjoyed mousing, but the two animals hung out quite a bit whenever Sage was down there working. He'd even made a small cat door in the stall door so Amber could easily wander in and out of her friend's stall as she pleased. "Maybe your good luck at getting pregnant is rubbing off on the horses," he mused. "I'm ninety nine percent sure this one's gonna give us our first foal," he chirped happily. He was excited about it...though his own baby came first for sure.
