Mari hummed gently to the boy after a few moments before giving a little nod. "I do suppose you spent a lot of time here," she mused lightly before letting out a small breath of air. "I mean... yeah, our everything is a lot better. Might just be because it's ours, though," she added with a bit of a chuckle. She gave a light smile to the doctor when he came over, clearly a little bit giddy for the food. She really was thrilled to finally get to eat... she was always hungry now, though. She thanked him readily before settling down again with a happy sounding hun. She seemed to have forgotten all about last nights worries... she was a bit perkier now that she had some food in her, she supposed.

Sage chuckled lightly and nodded before giving the doctor a grin when he noticed the old man. He chirped a greeting out, and the old man responded with a sort of grunt that sage had come to not only understand to mean 'good morning' and 'love you', but that he'd also come to adore over the years. The food was good though....and Mari seemed much happier today, which was definitely good. It seemed like everything was getting better and better, he supposed. And he was definitely anxious to meet his new baby....it seemed like a forever of waiting already. He knew the birthing could be risky, and he was still a bit nervous about Mari or the baby being hurt, but he was really more excited than anything at this point. Or rather, he was choosing to focus on that instead of all the other nasty thoughts.

Mari smiled as she took the food, kind of leaning against her headboard with a huff of air. It was wonderful to see Sgae with his... dad? They didn't talk much, and they admittedly didn't get to see the man as much as they would have liked. She ate slowly before letting out a heavy breath and looking over at Sage with a bit of a smile. She then looked thoughtful before humming quietly. "Sage, can you go and see Att while we're here?" She asked softly. She forgot sometimes about the life he had in the castle... Att looks up to Sage, and she hated that she was always taking him away from the boy. And the doctor. "He's going to want to see you while you're here, you know," how old was Att now... he was about five when Sage had gotten back. And man... it had been nealy four or so years since she'd met Sage. That long? God. That would make Atticus about nine now, then.

Sage ate his food happily, and quickly. He glanced over at Mari and nodded eagerly. "I didn't want to leave of you were still anxious," he admitted. "If you're feeling alright I'll go after breakfast," he promised. When she nodded, he grinned and returned to eating. Once he was done, he wandered off to find the boy, as he'd promised. He was probably in Anyas room by now, so he knocked on her door and greeted the girl happily when she answered. "Is Att here," he asked curiosly and gave a grin when he noticed the boy flying towards him and leaping up for a hug.

Mari smiled softly to the boy when he confirmed that he'd do as she asked. She smiled softly when he pattered off before shrugging. "Don't worry. If anything happens then I'm sure you'll hear me," she mused softly. It was true enough, though... soon enough, she would probably be screaming the whole castle. Last time she was sure she'd woken everyone up. She was glad Sage had gotten to see Silas while they were here, though... and Anya, actually. She knew both of them meant a lot to Sage, and they had a bit of time anyway so why not go and see them? They were so, so important to him, and the life he had before all of this.

Anya called for whoever was knocking at the door, and admittedly the last person she expected to show up was in the doorway. She watched Silas run over before giving the boy a bit of a snicker. "Oh, look at you all alive and all," she teased lightly before shaking her head. It was an amusing thought... she'd fully expected him dead by now, despite her more up beat tone. She then looked curiously at him after a few moments. "What brings you here," she asked with a cocked head.

Sage greeted Silas happily, wrapping his arms around the boy and spinning him around playfully with a chuckle before setting him back down to give Anya a grin. "I know. Surprising how much one person can settle you down," he joked lightly. He patted his stomach and chuckled. "I'm going to put it down to Maris cooking," he joked again. Then he hummed happily. "Mari, actually," he told her. "Her due dates in around four or five days, so we're staying here for a bit, in the doctor's ward," he informed the girl. "Baby's ready to pop out anytime," he mused happily. It was good to see the two of them....it had been a while, and they did both mean so much to him.

Anya gave an amused sounding hum before chuckling at him. "And I hear you're not in the streets, either of you? You've got a nice little place? About bloody time, Sage," she mused as she watched Silas wonder off to sit on the side of the bed. He did seem happy to see Sage... the boy wasn't his father or anything, and she'd made sure since he was young that he knew that she wasn't his mother even if she acted as such, but it was nice he had a man to look up to after Luther died. Even if he didn't get to see him much. Anya then looked him up and down with a bit of a squint. "I was thinking you'd gained some weight," she joked to him before looking back at some of the papers sprawled across her table. "At least one of you can cook," she added with an amused chuckle. She then looked over at him with a curious look across her face. She didn't think she'd been made aware of Mari being pregnant again... but she couldn't help but be happy for them and their little family. She knew it was something Sage had always wanted but not necessarily something he'd ever be able to do... but it seemed as though his life was coming together for him now. It was certainly nice for him. "Oh, congratulations," she chirped happily to the boy as she gave him a grin.

Sage chuckled and nodded. "We have a house," he confirmed, tone laced with amusement. "And a few horses were planning on breeding and making a program out of," he added excitedly. He wrinkled his nose in mock offense and scanned her up and down. "well, maybe it's all muscle from all my hard work, you never know," he joked. They both knew he'd never be super bulky, and he didn't care too much. He thanked the girl though when she said congratulations, clearly quite excited about the whole thing. "We're hoping for a girl this time around," he hummed. "Though we'll love anything," he pointed out with a shrug. Then he looked over at Silas. "And what have you been up to little man? Been practicing with that sword I got ya?"

Anya gave a bit of a nod at his comment about the horses. "Yeah... I could kind of see that happening from miles off." She teased him lightly before rolling her eyes. "That'll be good for you, I'm glad," she hummed lightly to the boy. She looked him up and down for a moment before wrinkling her nose. "I think not," she mused lightly. She gave a light smile to him after a little bit, though. "I know you'll love whatever you get," she reassured happily. He would, too. She also knew that these children of his would be cared for better than most with whatt little they had. Silas bared his teeth at the man, hopping up and running towards the sword in the corner of the room before running back with it towards Sage. "Yes!" He chirped as he started swinging it around the way you would see most of the guards doing.

Sage chuckled at the girl's comment and then nodded. "Of course you would say that," he huffed lightly though amused. But he nodded with a hum. "We found few good broodmares for cheap," he hummed. He grinned over at Silas when he brought the sword out and patted his shoulder. "That's a good lad," he chirped. "You'll be the best knight around I'm sure," he said fondly. After another half hour or so of talking, he decided he'd better head back. "I'll visit again I'm sure, but I don't wanna leave Mari for too long," he told them, giving them both a hug goodbye before bouncing off to the ward again.
