Kennedy stayed silent until he spoke for the second time. "I'm just worried about maddie..." She murmured out quietly before snapping her attention over to Susan, casting a glare at her for what she said. As Caden walked away she watched him, wincing as he groaned in pain, then watched him making sure he got his meds

Caden nods and said " I am too but she a strong girl and we will find you " Susan said " and I'll help out " caden said " you will end up in jail your not a cop anymore Susan " she sighed and said " you are just jealous " Caden glares at her again and then said " I better wake up the captain and tell him what happen if anyone needs something better go now before I lock the house up tight "

Kennedy nodded her head at Cadens words before moving to sit at the couch. She pulled her laptop from the coffee table and into her laptop, she was going to see if she could track down cadens phone. At Susans last comment she shot a nasty glare at her really wishing the women would shut up at that point but she brought her attention back to the computer and continued working.

Caden sighed and said " I forgot I don't have my phone to call him Kennedy can I use your phone " as he looks at her before looking away and runs his hands through his hair he looked like he was about to cry about to break down he needed to be strong but he didn't know where to start

Kennedy brought her attention back to Caden, he looked like he was about to have a break down. She motioned him over to come sit next to her on the couch "Yes you can, come here" She said to him softly

Caden walks over and sat down before looking at her and then at his hands before sighed and said " thanks " before he looks at her and then looks away before tear rushed to his eyes even through he tried to hold it back

Kennedy sets the laptop back down on the coffee table as caden sat down. "Anytime" She responded while she pulled her phone out. When Kennedy looks back she sees the tears running down his face. She scoots closer to him, wrapping him in a genlte hug as she rested her head on his shoulder just comforting him.

Caden wraps his arm around and kisses her forehead then put his head on top of her and holds her close before placing his face again her hair and sniffs before holding her closer and whisper " thank you being with me "

Kennedy stayed still as caden leaned over against her. As he wrapped his arms around her, she shifted closer wanting to be as close as possible to him. "No problem, my love" She whispered back to him, looking up and placing a kiss on his cheek before settling her head back down on his shoulder

He sighed and said " Maddie looked up to you as a mother and she likes you " as he looks at her before opening her phone and calls the captain and it ring until voice mail and he sighed before hanging up and hands it back to her before saying " do you need anything from your place or not "
