(Yep!!) Mari nodded in agreement to the boy, a bit of a chuckle escaping her. "Aww my babies are beautiful though," she mused happily as she looked over her daughter, her face just full of awe. She still couldn't believe that she and Sage could make something so absolutely perfect. She looked back to him, kind of moving to ruffle his hair. "Yeah, you have to much. I'd like to see your gorgeous face from time to time," she mused happily to the boy, kind of moving to slick his hair out of his face before pressing a light peck to his lips. "You're so handsome," she chirped to him.

(okie dokie!) Sage chuckled and nodded with a light him of agreement when she said all the babies were just perfect and beautiful. "They're both perfect in their own way," he mused lightly before laughing slightly at her comments about his own face and have her a grin once their lips had parted. "You're biased," he giggled. "You're supposed to think I'm handsome." He still wasn't sure what she saw in him to make her think that....but it did make him feel good whenever she said something similar.

Mari nodded in agreement... both of their kids really were perfect. Silas was probably the smartest two and a half year old she'd ever met, and little Lizzie was already so quiet. She didn't seem to want for much. She did consider herself very lucky. She pouted at him after a moment or two. "I don't have to think you're handsome," she mused lightly, reaching over Liz to run her thumb gently over the almost prominent scar on his face. "But I absolutely do," she hummed happily to him. (You're more than welcome to do it whenever your ready! :))

Sage hummed happily at her comments, closing his eyes and leaning into her hand slightly as she traced his scar and then opened them once she spoke up again, grinning over at her fondly. "I know," he hummed lightly. Things had gone rather well for the next few months or so. Silas had turned three by then, and Lizzie was nearing six months. He could barely believe it. He and the boy were walking down the street, since he was going to get some groceries and Silas had begged to come with him. He didn't mind, and he was more than happy to spend a few hours with the boy.

Mari wandered around the kitchen happily, little Liz sitting on the floor and playing with some bricks. The other two were out at the shops, so she figured she could make a decent meal for them. It was also nice that it was just her and her baby girl for a little while. While she left the meat to steam, she wandered over and scooped the child up, gaining a happy giggle from her as she spun her around. She flopped back on the couch, the little girl sitting up happily on her stomach with some more than happy cooes.

Sage had wandered around with Silas through the shops for around an hour or so before the boy asked to be picked up. He shifted the bag to one hand and moved to scoop him up, propping him on his hip as the boy kept looking around happily. He was glad he'd picked him up, though, because a few seconds later they were surrounded by men. Something was wrapped over his head, so he couldn't see, and he would have jumped into action but he had a screaming Silas clutching his chest, and he was not gonna leave his baby boy. He'd dropped the basket of groceries at some point...but he kept a tight hold of Silas during the long trek to... wherever they were taking them.

Mari played around with the little girl for a little bit, before then going back to the meat, which by now had finished cooking. She fished everything out into plates, rest for her son and husband to come home... hopefully sooner rather than later. She got Liz fed and into her little crib, though, so that she was asleep when they got back... and she waited hours, but they didn't come back. She found herself more and more worried, but... she knew that Shse wouldn't just up and leave with her son. Which sort of scared her more. This wasn't like him at all. He was always back in time for dinner. It was about midnight by the time she'd cleared everything up again... maybe he'd gotten side tracked and decided to say somewhere in town that night? It wasnt an uncommon event. She decided just to head to bed... if they weren't back early that morning, then she'd go to her mothers house... perhaps she could go look for them.

Sage wasn't aware of much while they were walking....they were eventually shoved rather roughly into some kind of carriage, and sage really didn't want to know what he smelled or what was on the floor. He sort of just stood in the back corner, trying his beast to comfort Silas, who really wasn't enjoying this at all. Neither was he, obviously, and he was pretty worried too...but no doubt Silas was in worse shape than him. The carriage stopped eventually, the jolt nearly knocking him over. The doors were opened and they were drug out, and before he knew it Silas was being torn out of his arms. That was when he started fighting...no one was taking his baby away from him. He was still blindfold though, and while he knew he'd killed at least three of them, there were still enough left to bind his hands and drag him off.

Mari woke up early the next day... not that she'd really gotten any sleep. She was so, so worried.... it wasn't like him to stay away for so long. It really worried her. She got up to check on Liz, then going to see if Silas was in his and... Sage occasionally slept on the couch, but Silas would have been left in bed... but he wasn't there. She felt herself start to panic and quickly went to get dressed before scooping Liz up and pretty much running to her mothers.... she needed to look for Sage. Something was wrong, and she knew it. This was so different for him, for him to not be here so early. She was greeted to Anthony, who she explained that something was off before leaving Liz to her mother... her brother had decided to come along with her, straight into town... she was sure something was wrong, and he didn't want her to end up injured if she found them.

Sage was eventually chained up to a wall, and the blindfild was ripped off his head, but by the time his eyes adjusted to the dark cell he was in, the doors had been closed and locked, and the men were halfway down the hallway. He was in full panic mode though...he sould still hear Silas's shrieks and wails from where he was at, and he just had to get ot his boy. It hurt more than anything else to hear the boy so clearly terrified and not be able to do anything about it. He didn't even know if they were hurting him or not. He struggled against the chains for hours, until his body gave out on him and he sagged, the chains at his wrists holding him up. There was blood on the floor, and as he stared more dripped down from...somewhere. Probably him. He didn't really care though...he really couldn't even feel it. He was just worried about Silas, and about the girls too...if they'd gone after him, would they go after Mari and Lizzie too?
