Sage gave the gril a huff of air and a slight pout, though he couldn't keep it from turning over to his regular tired face, and he sort of gave up when she pushed him back down. He let out a slight sigh, though he had to admit he really wasn't very upset at all about her telling him to stay in bed. "Noooo," he whined when she said she wouldn't cuddle. "though, I suppose I can always go cuddle chaos," he mused, gaining a light twinkle in his eyes. "I do want to go see him at some point though," he added with a shrug. (Would be nice for sage and Anthony to talk later or whatever)

Mari gasped at him before flopping down next to him. "Fine, go cuddle your horse. Im sure I'll find someone else," she told him in a slightly whiny tone, she grabbed a pillow to hold onto and kind of curled around it before nodding to him lightly. "You can go down later today if you'd like. My brother will be there so he can keep an eye on you," she told him lightly. He could do whatever he liked, and she didn't get a say in whether he went down on his own or not... but it was comforting for her that he was with someone else.

Sage couldn't help but chuckle at her gasp, though he let out a sort of whine when she curled around the pillow, moving to take it from her and take it's place happily. "I'll go down in a bit," he hummed. "When I have some more energy." Right after he took his meds, he was really sleepy, so he'd attempt to get down there in an hour or so, once it had run most of its course. He nodded when she said Anthony would be down there and grunted. "He'll want to know what happened anyway," he mused. No doubt he'd been worried....if Mari was worried about something then Anthony would be worried about Mari, so even if he wasn't necessarily worried about him, then he'd be worried about Mari worrying about him at least.

Mari smiled at him happily as he curled into her and wrapped her arms around him tightly. "I don't care when you go," she hummed quietly. She was just trying to cuddle up with him... it was nice and she felt a little bit better about herself when she was with him. She wasn't sure when she started to feel like that, but she did... she felt good when he was around. She slipped her hands under his shirt and ran them up his back before burying her nose into the crook of his neck. "I'm sure he's worried. He saw you before we went to the hospital," she murmured quiely to him. "He'll be glad you're alright for the most part... well, other than the obvious," she mused lightly.

Sage let out a happy hum and felt a grin form on his face when she slipped her hands under his shirt. It was always a comfortable feeling....a feeling of home, he supposed, even if her touch was blocked by the bandages he still had to wear. He could feel her warmth though, and it was still nice. "Once I wake up a bit I'll head down," he hummed, resting his face on the top of her head, breathing in her scent happily. "It'll be nice to talk to him anyway," he hummed. They'd been getting along well now that Anthony had actually learned to trust him and they'd sort of...defrosted a bit. Which was a pretty bif relief...the guy was sort of scary, and he wanted Mari's family to like him, since they were his family now too. Plus, Anthony could definitely beat him up if he pissed him off too much. He wasn't really worried about it, since the guy seemed to like him, but he knew if he ever upset Mari, which he'd never want to do, the guy would definitely cause him more than a little bit of pain.

Mari hummed in response to his comment before shrugging. "It's whatever is easiest," she hummed softly. She didn't care... Anthony would probably be down there now until this evening, and he was happy to help. But he would probably like to know his brother in law was alright. Well, not alright, but still alive and functioning the best he could. He'd seen him be shot in the head... so he'd probably like to know the repercussions of that. There wouldn't have been no issues, but he would be glad to know he still had his wits about him. "I just like you being here for now," she murmured softly. Really, it was the first time they were in their own bed for such a long time... and it was the first time that she'd actually been able to hold onto him like this without worrying about hurting him too much. She breathed his scent in after a moment before letting out a heavy breath. "I've missed you," she complained after a little while. It was odd, she'd been with him non stop since he'd injured himself, but she kind of felt like she was getting him back a little, which was nice.

Sage hummed lightly and then chuckled at her comment about being happy to lay there for now. "It's nice to be home," he murmured, wrapping himself around her a bit tighter, then hummed in agreement with her next comment. "I've missed you too," he said quietly, but in a way that told her he was happy right then. He stayed that way for a while...more than happy lay around. Eventually though, she had to get up and make lunch, so he had her help him out to Chaos's paddock and settle him down by the tree again before going to start lunch up. Chaos came over and lay down by him right away, as he had the day before, which was definitely nice.

Mari hummed I agreement, but soon enough moved to get up when she started to get hungry again... Sage had went off to the horses, so she could make some food for the family... and Anthony, if he was hungry. She made sure the kids had eaten, and she had a little bit herself though not massive amounts, and soon enough went back to sorting the house up. She took a small tray a bit later on before popping it on a barrel down the yard for her brother and Sage to help themselves to, along with a jug of juice for the two of them.

Sage had managed to settle himself down by chaos, Amber curling up in his lap like she always did. She'd taken to walking on his bling side and sort of...guiding him around things. Which was honestly very helpful. He wasn't sure why or how she'd know to do that, but she'd seemed to do it almost immediately after he'd gotten home. Chaos had seemed to know something was off too, since he mostly stayed on his blind side too, especially when sage was sitting down or resting. For whatever reason they did that, he couldn't help but appreciate the animals more than he did before. Eventually though, he decided he did want to go check on the mares, since many of them had been heavy with foal and he hadn't seen them in a while. So he got up and sort of slowly made his way down to the barn, Amber trotting along, pressing against his leg in an effort to keep him going in the right direction without falling or breaking something else.

Mari settled down inside after a little while, still pretty exhausted... she eventually took the kids out to see the horses, and then for a walk... they saw her brother on the way and stopped for a little chat before continuing on, and eventually took Silas to the lake so he could have a little paddle and splash about. There was a beach there so it was pretty sweet. And she could sit with Liz for a little while,
