Sage snorted at the boys comment about being pure muscle and then rolled his eyes at his next comment. "Well your sister seems to think I'm still perfectly fine," he mused lightly, still really joking around about it all. He hummed in thought and nodded with a slight huff of air at his comment about them all saying the same thing. "Yeah," he agreed. "I'm jumpy enough with only one eye gone," he muttered. "Guess I should just be thankful I have you guys," he sighed. "I'm not so sure I would be back on my feet already if I didn't have Mari or the kids with me either," he admitted with a shrug. Really, that would probably because he just wouldn't care too much about getting back on his feet....but Anthony knew most of his past, at least the important bits and pieces, and he wouldn't judge.

Anthony rolled his eyes before giving a bit off a huff. "My sister doesn't like chocolate, her liking you is almost as odd as that," he chuckled happily. He gave a shrug before shaking his head and going to put some waters in the stable. He chuckled in agreement before shaking her head. "You should be. I mean, you have reason to be worried, especially after all this. But you know what you're like. Maybe this will help you get over everything," he shrugged lightly. "And those kids are gonna keep you on your feet for the rest of your life," he chuckled lightly.

Sage chuckled lightly at the older boys tease and shrugged. "I can't argue with that," he noted with amusement. "though, she seems to like chocolate here and there well enough," he hummed with a shrug. He watched him move to put the water in some of the stalls, shifting so he could see him, at least somewhat, as they spoke. He did feel a bit guilty about making Anthony do all the chores ...but he didn't seem to mind, and he knew there was no way he could go do everything yet. He chuckled and nodded at Anthony's comments about the kids. "Tell me about it," he sort of groaned, though it was clear he loved the kids more than anything. "Unless they break me first," he added with a slight chuckle. "That does seem to have more potential the longer time goes on," he mused lightly.

Anthony huffed out a breath before shrugging. "She's a bit of a strange one. Glad it's not me stuck with her for the rest of forever," he mused lightly as he finished off the buckets. "Those kids are gonna be so much work," he mused. "I mean, Silas is already running around, and I have a feeling Liz is gonna be similar. But oh well, they'll keep you fit I assume," he chuckled happily. "Speaking of, where are the little devils?" He asked with a cocked head.

Sage chuckled lightly at his comment about Mari and shrugged. "runs in the family I guess," he teased the other boy. Though, he supposed he was plenty strange himself. Either way, it was fun to tease. He chuckled and nodded in response to his next comment, humming fondly. "Lizzie already has more energy than Silas did at her age," he chirped. "Which may be a little bit of an issue considering Silas was more than enough to handle," he chuckled. He of course didn't care ...he loved the girl either way, and they all knew that. But he certainly didn't have as much energy as the kids did, especially now that his meds made him sleepy 24/7.

Anthony let out a sort of amused snort at his comment... but it did have some truth to it, he supposed. He and his sister were pretty alike as far as sibling could go. He nodded at him after a moment or two. "I mean, they have eachother to entertain so they should stay away from you for the most part," he shrugged. "Mari was always very buzzy as a kid, so I assumed it'd be that way anyway," he added happily. "And she liked messing about so when you're getting your beauty sleep she will sort them out, I'm sure," he mused lightly.

Sage hummed lightly and nodded. "That was sort of the reason why we had liz in the first place, so hopefully that works," he chuckled. They'd wanted another one, yes, but they also wanted a playmate for Silas too. He chuckled and nodded at his response about Mari as a child. "Mom did mention that she was rather rambunctious," he mused lightly. He snorted at his comment about beauty sleep and gave the older boy a look. "The only beauty sleep I get is when they're asleep too. Most of the time on top of me," he noted, though fondly. "Just wait until you have some of your own....you'll be wishing for some good beauty sleep," he chuckled lightly. Amber had started mewling by then, and he groaned slightly before standing up. "It's lunch time," he hummed. "You're more than welcome....but I'd better start making my way down to the house before Mari gets all worried I passed out somewhere or something," he hummed lightly, limping out of the barn with a slight wave

Anthony chuckled to him before shrugging. "Hopefully. Or else you'll have to have even more," he mused to his friend. It did please him that he'd taken to the family... all of them, including their mother. The woman struggled with people, so it was nice that his sister had picked someone she could get on with. "I don't want kids," he huffed. "I want to think that you have enough in the family, so I don't want any," he mused lightly to his friend. He shrugged before giving a little nod. "Yeah, why not. I'm hungry anyway," he chirped.

Sage chuckled lightly at the older boys comment and shrugged. "I'll have to manage to get more energy then," he chirped. He chuckled at his other comment and patted his arm. "You say that but if you ever have any you won't be able to believe you ever said that," he mused lightly. He rolled his eyes at his comment after that, then nodded. "Well be at the house. ..just stop in once you're done," he hummed. Then he made a face. "Well ...Mari and the kids will be in the house. I might still be limping over to it," he joked lightly as he headed out the door. Really, it wouldn't take him more than ten minutes ....but compares to his usual like two, it seemed like a long time.
