Sage sort of hummed lightly in response to her comment as he drifted off, not wanting to just ignore her. But, well, he was quite literally falling asleep. He was content to lay there for maybe another hour or so before forcing himself to wake up, sitting up with a yawn and drawing the blankets around him again with a slight shiver. The meds were in full power now, so he was definitely chilly. He made the move to get up, and then collapsed back onto the couch with a surprised grunt and quite a few curses. He'd expected to be sore, but not that sore. He chuckled slightly at the thought and moved to get up again, this time much slower and more careful, before practically limping over in order to get over to the stairs so he could go out clothes on before he froze.

Mari watched him kind of driest off, a small smile on her face as she did so... man, she did love him. He just seemed to be so, so peaceful... it was so nice to see. She kept on going with the little movements for a bit before deciding that actually she needed to get dressed, so carefully slipped out from underneath him and wandered off to get chances and make herself a little bit more presentable before going out to meet Anthony on the track up to the house, the boy hanging off him happily, while Liz was asleep in his arms. "Your child is insane," he complained to her with a bit of a laugh, to which she just shrugged and took Silas off him. "I mean, he does take after his father," she mused before pecking the boy in the forehead when he wrapped his arms around her. "why don't you come in for a bit once you've done the horses? I was gonna di a roast for dinner," she chirped happily, to which her brother agreed before going to sort the horses out... she set Silas on the ground as she took Liz, and patted the boy on the back. "Go find daddy," she cooed as he started to run towards the house.

Sage had somehow managed to get up the stairs without dying, and he sat on the bed for a moment to catch his breath before getting dressed. He sat there again after that, not really wanting to get up again, though when he heard someone burst into the house and come pounding up the stairs, he chuckled and moved to meet his son in the hallway. The boy jumped into his arms, nearly knocking him over, which made him chuckle slightly after a grunt of surprise. He moved to go down the stairs to meet the rest of the people who were out there. It was slow going, but he eventually wandered out of the house to greet Anthony and Liz, even if the girl was asleep.

(Not been on much today, finally got this horse we were looking at!) Mari hummed as she watched the child run off, and looked over at Anthony as Liz was slipped into her arms. "I take it they were alright?" She asked softly. The boy shrugged at the question, then nodded lightly. "As always, they we're fine. Silas was funny getting to bed but alright other than that," he informed him lightly. "You get a bit of a break?" He asked curiously as he watched Sage and the child waddle back outside. "Yeah. We went to a nice little spot and had a picnic. It was alright, but I'm happy to have the kids back," she chucked lightly to him.

(oh cool!) Sage had sort of just wandered back outside and moved over to stand next to Mari and give Anthony a wave beat he could with Silas hanging onto him. He's caught the last bit of the conversation as he'd come up, so he hummed in agreement with Maria comment. "We had a good time," he mused lightly. "it was definitely a well used day." He chuckled lightly at the last part of her comment, nodding as he shifted Silas over slightly. "The quiet was almost odd," he joked lightly, Silas giggling at it even though he probably didn't really know what the joke was about. Whatever.. if the boy thought it was funny, then it was a good comment.

Mari grinned over at her husband when he showed up, a bit of a hum escaping her as a greeting. "It was needed, I think," she murmured, though pecked Lizzies forehead as she started to wake up, and kind of shifted her onto her hip. "I concur. Without Silas thumping around we'd be lost," she chuckled happily, which gained a small laugh from her brother. "Glad you guys enjoyed yourselves. You deserve it," he hummed happily. "Right, I'm gonna sort out the horses for you. Make sure you guys save me some food," he chirped before going off to the barns. Mari turned to Sage, and kind of giving a happy hum before taking Silas's hand. "Go help where you can," she told her husband softly before giving a smile and pecking his cheek. She get the kids sorted and sort some food out for them... and of course get this roast started. (he's sooo chilled out for what he is! And he's pretty too so that bloody helps lol Shitty pic no1)

(yeah, that helps xD. and yea he's super pretty!) Sage hummed happily in response to Mari's comment, nodding and then chuckling alongside Anthony when she mentioned Silas. He nodded happily at her suggestion to go help out, setting Silas down. The boy wrapped his arms around him in a big hug and then sped off towards the house again, his energy never seeming to fade out. Sage pecked Liz on teh head and Mari on the lips before heading off after Anthony as quickly as he could. He did want to help out, even if it was just holding a bucket of feed for a horse or something. He was rather bored of laying around doing nothing, and while that was pretty much all he could do, he did want to at least feel helpful. When he nearly broke his nose by running into a tree though, he huffed out a breath in annoyance but slowed his pace down considerably, moving much more cautiously. He didn't have Amber guiding him around at the moment, which admittedly made it much harder to navigate.

Mari took the kids into the house happily, and settled Liz down in bed before having Silas help out with dinner little. A few hours passed and soon enough it was getting darker outside. Anthony called in that they were nearly done, so she started setting the table and dishing out food... she made sure Silas ate first and got him showered and to bed, then set everything out so that it was looking neat enough... she didn't have to... but she did like it.

Sage had eventually made it down to the barn and was definitely more than happy to help feed a few horses. He spent most of the time feeding chaos and loving on him a bit, but he did make a point to stop by and check in on all the other horses. Snowball was due literally any minute by now, and he was anxiously awaiting the foal. And the few hours or so before hand....he wanted it to all go well. Soon enough though, they started to make their way back to the house, Anthony helping him along.

Mari set everything up happily before going to lean against the doorframe as she watched the two boys wander up. "All good?" She asked happily. "The kids are in bed, so we might have a quiet dinner for once," she chuckled in amusement. They soon made it to the door, which was when she went to plop down on one of the chairs. She was excited... she'd made a nice meal, which was getting harder to do with the amount of money that they were running off, but this looked good... and she was happy about that to say the least.
