Sage felt a smile drift over his face when she moved to wrap her as around him, welcoming the touch gratefully. He stayed there for a moment before sort of moving to the side, since he couldn't prop himself up for much longer and he really didn't want to fall on top of her. But he stayed close, welcoming the warmth of her touch and the swirl of her breath down his neck and chest. It was all very lovely, and he just wanted to hold her. Because he really did love her.... he'd found that he'd almost gotten teary over it, which would have definitely been a little bit embarrassing.

Mari hummed softly when he moved to the side, so she rolled over to wrap an arm loosely around his side, her hand softly drawing shapes on his back as she pressed a soft kiss to his forehead. She wasn't sure what had happened, but it was good. She'd gotten a few kisses out of it, at least, and that was all she wanted. She pulled him in a little bit more after a few moments and gave a small smile. "You okay," she asked softly, since he'd sort of just gone quiet by now.

Sage sort of just held her tighter when she rolled over to draw him into her again. He felt a soft smile form on his face when she started drawing on his back, the soft touch a sort of comfort by now. He hummed happily when she kissed his forehead, and nodded in response to her comment. "yeah," he hummed lightly, moving to bury his face in the crook of her neck, so he could breathe in her scent, closing his eyes again and sort of just......resting there. It was nice really. And he'd getten some kisses, which had sort of been his goal of the whole thing.

Mari smiled into him, his soft breaths soothing... she did enjoy getting to spend time with him. The last few weeks she felt like she'd barely seen him, which was why she'd gotten so upset the day prior. Well, not upset, she'd just missed him she supposed, and everything else seemed to overwhelm her her quite a bit. Soon enough, though, she heard little feet on the wooden floors, and the door swung open as little Silas came charging in, bounding along the bed as he flopped in between the two. He kind of flopped into Mari and wrapped his arms around her. "Hey bud," she chuckled lightly to him, releasing Sage and sitting up a little. The boy giggled and babbled something about pancakes for breakfast, to which she hummed in agreement. She scooped the child up, but not before pressing a light kiss to Sages forehead. "See you down there, yeah?" She asked happily to the boy. She then climbed out of bed and set Silas down before starting to waddle down stairs to get some food on happily.

Sage was more than happy to stay curled up with Mari, until Silas came and crawled over him to slip in between them. He let out a grunt when the boy used him as a sort of launch pad to scramble up with them, and then groaned slightly when Mari moved away from him, though a smile did form on his face when he greeted his son. And pancakes did sound quite lovely, he could admit that. He nodded with a sort of yawn in response to Maris comment, stretching and sort of waking up a bit more before padding down the stairs happily, sliding into a chair, definitely hungry now that he smelled how good the pancakes seemed.

Mari wandered about downstairs, having Silas help out a little bit with the food... not much, mind. He just pored the four and things like that, while she cracked the eggs. They did look good, thiugh... she got some blueberries, some strawberries, sugar and honey and also some lemon for them... so it would be a feast of a breakfast. She did dust some flour at Silas, to which the little boy giggled and gave a happy little grin, and tried to do the same back, though to no avail. She gave a little hum as she heard Sages footsteps from upstairs, and gave Silas a little pancake to try. "The first ones always a little odd, but it's good, no?" She asked the child happily. The boy nodded happily in agreement. "Very good!" He chirped happily. She grabbed little Liz and set her up in her high chair, her eyes following their every movement as she watched the food being passed onto plates.

Sage appeared down the stairs soon enough, and moved immediately to grab a pancake, nibbling at first to try it, since it seemed a bit different than usual, though when it tasted just as good as always, if not better, he shoved the rest of it down his face as he grabbed a plate, tossing another pancake onto his plate and grabbing a glass of water before sliding in next to Silas happily, the boy immediately launching into conversation, to which sage sort of half paid attention to, mostly just nodding as he ate.

Mari grinned at the boy as he plopped down next to her, though she was pretty content airiplaining food into her mouth... she'd never actually had pancakes, and absolutely hadn't had them with honey and lemon, so she made a funny face before leaning into her a bit more and trying to snatch her plate off her. Of course, Mari didn't let her, but it did amuse her a little bit. Either way, she soon started to eat her food with a happy smile across her face.

Sage hummed happily and had eventually finished eating, attempting to gather up plates in order to wash them. He wanted to try and help out around a little bit... especially since Mari was still sort of making sure Lizzie was fed. He did his best, though he wasn't sure how clean they really were, since he could only see half the sink. Well, he could turn, but then he was facing the other wall, and he'd just spray water everywhere, and they didn't exactly have the money to repair anything as of then. So he did what he could....which wasn't much, and he didn't do a very good job of it probably. But he'd exhausted himself, so he sort of huffed out an exasperated breath around halfway through the dishes, propping himself up against the counter to attempt and regain some energy to finish up. It didn't really work though, and now his legs were getting tired again.

Mari gave Sage a thankful smile to Sage when he picked up the dishes, and made sure Liz had a bit more to eat before scooping her up and taking her to her room, which had been completely baby proofed, meaning that she could happily crawl around alone without managing to hurt herself. Mari padded back out, just to find Sage completely and utterly exhausted on the counter. She chuckled before padding over and standing between his legs happily, kind of running her hands up and down his thighs lightly before patting thin softly. "If you need to go back to bed, you can," she chuckled softly to the boy.
