Sage hummed happily and nodded, reaching over to pet the colts face as he stuck his nose out and up to try and reach over the stall door curiously, eyes bright and ears pricked. It really was an adorable sight, especially when snowball reached over to give him a few licks as if checking in on him before reaching for a pat herself before going back to munching contentedly on her hay. "I'll figure something out soon," he hummed lightly.

Mari watched the boy and his foal interact before giving him a happy little smile. "I'm sure you will," she chirped happily. He was good with names anyway. He'd figure something perfect out in time. She said hello to Snowball before smiling gently and turning back to Sage. "Go get Chaos hooked up then. I don't want to leave Anthony with the kids for too long, knowing Silas he would have managed to kill him by the time we get back," she mused with a bit of the chuckle. "Silas being the killer," she added lightly, knowing the boy's personality could be a bit like hers in the way that he just kept on buzzing.

Sage bobbed his head in a sort of absentminded nod in response to Maris comment, patting the xlot goodbye and planting a kiss on his little snip happily before sliding off to get chaos. He'd sort of stolen the blanket from Mari, but he was cold and he'd had it to begin with. Chaos greeted him happily, hay sticking out of his man as he chewed another mouthful of the stuff. He chuckled lightly and slipped his halter on , waddling away with the stallion following like some kind of lovestruck puppy.

Mari groaned in complaint when he wandered off with the blanket but padding along behind him and the stallion while she waited for him to be sorted out. She stood patiently, but soon enough they were all done and she climbed up into the cart next to Sage, kind of sitting ridged with her hands on her lap. You would have thought she would have gotten used to all this horse shit, but they still scared her to some extent she supposed. And it had been a while since they'd used the cart. Still, she sat quietly as she waited for the castle to come into view.

Sage had to admit, getting out and doing something with the horses was nice. It got him up and moving, and he was definitely more alert. He felt better too...just not so....down about everything. He was still cold, sort of, but the wind on his face and everything was refreshing. Plus, he was sat comfortably next to Mari, and he was going to see friends and family. It was certainly nice. So, he definitely felt better as they moved on down the road. No doubt he'd crash after this, but he supposed it would be worth it. One of the guards greeted them and moved to take care of chaos, and sage sort of just wandered down to the ward with Mari, where the doctor greeted them happilyp

Mari wandered along towards the castle with her husband, seemingly the place buzzing more than ever... and had the castle always been so big? It kind of made her wince at the thought of their little cottage at the sight of it. She'd worked here for years, lived here, and she didn't like it but it just seemed so alive. So many more people than what she'd grown used to over the last few months. She wandered along next to Sage as they reached the doctors ward, a sheepish little smile across her face when the doctor greeted them.

Sage was more than happy to freet the doctor, who admittedly moved to check him over after the Initial greeting, as if expecting something to be wrong. He chuckled lightly and assured the man he was alright, though he didn't look convinced and shot a questioning look at Mari. He supposed that wasn't odd for him to come in hurt, he supposed, but whatever. The doctor had ushueed them into his office soon enough, where he plopped down onto the couch happily.

Mari gave the doctor a happy little smile before going to sit on the couch in the corner, a small chuckle escaping her. She remembered him looking at her the same way when she'd brought Sage in years ago... he'd been so worried. Then Sage had started seeing blood coming from the walls. But there wasn't anything to worry about now. Sage and herself were just dropping in. "We're just here to say hey," she grinned happily to the older man after a little while.

Sage hummed happily and nodded in response to her comment, glad to see the old man relax a little bit. "Yeah, relax," he hummed lightly. "You're so old now you might have a heart attack if you keep this up for too long," he teased the old man lightly. He got a scowl in response, though it was a rather fond looking one....the doctor admittedly found it really vary hard to get actually annoyed or upset by something either of them did....which was saying a lot because he got fed up with a lot of people in not a lot of time. "Well, if you keep talking like that I'll make sure I outlive you and Mari will have to deal without you," he huffed right back at the boy. "If you leave her to raise the kids alone she might have a heart attack,* he commented with a chuckle, thinking about how energetic they already were. The doctor rolled his eyes at that and shook his head, though his eyes sparkled with amusement at the whole thing.

Mari rolled her eyes at the two after a little while, and gave a small chuckle. "Alright, alright. Sage stop talking to your father like that so he doesn't kill you," she chuckled then looked over to the doctor with a slightly more stern look. "And don't threaten your son! He makes the money, if you kill him you may as well commit a quadruple homiside, because both me and the children would probably die very quickly," she huffed after a little while before rolling her eyes with a bit of a laugh. She looked at the man with a fond smile, though. "How've you been? All good?"
