[After a while, Cali woke to a nightmare. He got up quickly and went to a corner of his room, where he covered his ears and tried to slow his breathing.] |

[Cali bunched into a ball. He mostly ignored the deer as his breathing grew harder and faster.] |

Helios nuzzles him and nudges him trying to get him to breathe and breathes on his cheek. |

[Cali gently pushed Helios away. After a minute, he hugged Helios around the neck, resting his chin on the back of his neck. His breathing was still very quick, but he calmed more than he was a minute ago.] |
