Xander kept his pace, the thought of being out here in the dark where zombies were much more active seemed to keep creeping up in his thoughts, and the fact that Mercy kept giving him dirty looks occasionally, What was her problem...it wasn't like he had done anything terribly mean to her. She blinked. He was acting like she had a problem? "I don't know. I kind of figured the first living human being you've encountered in months would be someone you didn't want to dispatch immiediately after meeting. You don't seem exactly pleased about me being here in general." What if she was being overdramatic? Maybe she had forgotten how to socialize. Maybe she looked like a rat or something. Her hand drifted to her hair absentmindedly as she looked forward again, still a bit upset. She was used to people being a bit more personable toward her. Xander shrugged, he personally gave himself his own company- and he had mostly gotten used to no human contact, so meeting another person who's not a zombie did surprise him, but he hadn't had any plans of sticking together...apparently, she did.
