Max arrived and him and Emery discussed for hours, eventually settling that she needed to make the best apology she's ever made.Max left and she looked at her phone, wondering what to do.She doubted he'd text or call back, but she could leave a voicemail, maybe.Yeah, sounds good.Here's how it went: Hey, it's me.I mean, you know that anyways, I don't know if I should even try to text or call you at this point. I don't know what else you expect me to do other then apologize, though I doubt you'd listen to that. I really hope you'll listen to this all the way through. I wouldn't and if you're mad I get it, I would be too. What I did was wrong and i'm sorry, I really am sorry. I had time for you and I pushed you away, and probably made you feel like shit while I didn't pay any attention to anything but papers and due dates. I just want you to know, i'm sorry. And i'll keep apologizing for as long as it takes and -- I know I made a big mistake, I'm sorry for what I did. I wish I could go back in time and change it, change it to be how a relationship should be, not the mess we called one. Just know i'm sorry, Noah. I truly am. Her voice was raw as she hung it up, having started to silently cry in the middle of recording it. |

Em waited for hours and didn't eat, sitting on her bed and checking every few minutes to see if he'd checked it or not. Max had come back again, he only dropped some food off and checked in, she probably should eat....yeah, she needed to.Emery stood and walked to the kitchen, seeing the buffalo wings Max had brought her and left on the bar, now having sat there for a hour.She sighed, tossing them into the microwave before taking them out and eating, mind a mess. She'd canned her mid term even after all the work, Noah had left, Max kept 'giving her space' when she was begging for him, and Hunter wouldn't stop pestering her. Should she file a restraining order? It'd be a good idea, get him to stop spamming her and showing un randomly, but nah, she wasn't in the right mood to even try for court. The woman ate the wings and went right back to her bed, checking her phone one last time. No update. With a sigh of tiredness she curled up and shut her eyes, drifting off. |

Emery awoke to her phone ringing and somebody rummaging in the kitchen. Yep, that restraining order sounds really nice right now. Hunter walked in, Emery barely processing the call. She let it ring, standing and pushing Hunter out before returning back to the phone, answering. "Hello?" |
