Camery Valatieri - Camery smiled softly as he pulled her in a little, although started to drift off to sleep quickly. She relaxed more as the blanket was draped over them, though.
Her sleep, for the first time in a couple days, was calm. She was safe and warm and she had Kai. He was okay. Finally, he was okay. She wasn't sure how, after everything he'd gone through, but somehow he was.
She woke up late the next morning, the sun shining through the windows and into her eyes.
She sighed softly, and went to hug onto a pillow, onto to find her head resting on an intricately tattooed arm. She recognised it quickly, and moved to hold onto the hand at the end of it. She must have shorten in the night, since now her back was pressed firmly against his chest.
She smiled slightly, and sort of shuffled back to press herself into him, really not much able to get any closer. |

Camery Valatieri - Cam smiled slightly when she felt and arm around her waist, and looked over her shoulder slightly at him. He really was perfect, in every way. She wished she knew how to tell him that better.
"Morning, handsome," she whispered softly, pressing a light kiss to his jaw before flopping over to wrap her arms around him tightly, burying her nose under his chin quietly. She looked over at his leg when she hit something hard, realising it was his cast. She smiled slightly and looked over to him. "When is it coming off?" She asked gently. |

Camery Valatieti - Camery hummed gently to him after a moment, letting out a heavy breath of air as she felt his wing wrap around them, the warmth of it all relaxing her.
She leaned back after a moment, raising her brows. "You really do heal quick, hm?" She mused lightly, her face still puffy from sleep but evidently she was happy.
She really had missed him. Everything about him. She wanted to sit with him for as long as she could, holding him tight. She hated arguing with him, pushing him away, but for a while it felt like she had to. She didn't... but it wasn't smart, not right now anyway. Those thoughts left her mind after a while, though. Now, this was what she wanted. She needed him, and she had a feeling he needed her too. Especially now, when things were so up in the air.
She ran a finger gently up and down his side for a moment, then rested it on his bicep. "Well, at least you can move around... is there anything you wanna do? It would probably be good to go and talk to the people you locked up in your castle," she mused softly. |

Camery Valatieri - Cam chuckled softly before shaking her head. She turned around and wrapped her arms around his neck, holding him tight. "I wanna spend time with you too," she mused lightly, leaning up to plant a light kiss to his lips. "But we really do need to do something about it. They're all getting antsy, and so am I," she whispered quietly. There had been no one she suspected... they all seemed glad to have a new king, bar one or two of the last kings off servants.
They targeted him, though. They wanted to hurt him. They had, and they'd hurt him really badly.
She looked up at him, her eyes furrowed. "They need to find out what happened and soon," she murmured quietly.
She gently ran her leg up his side, limpeting onto him as she held him close before pressing a light kiss to his chest. "I need to go shower," she murmured softly to him gently patting his side before slipping away from him to go out a robe on. |

Camery Valatieri - Camery smiled softly after a moment or two, her eyes light. It really had dragged on... but if it hadn't happened, she fully intended to leave after the ball. They wouldn't have this right now. Eachother. She needed him, and he needed her too.
She raised a brow when he asked to join her, and offered him a gentle hand. "Why not?" She asked with a chuckle, taking his hand and leading him into the bathroom. She flicked the shower on, then glanced down at his cast, which still had her name running up the inside of it, along with the arrow. Her eyes then ran back up his body, a light smile across her face. "Aren't you glad that can be covered up?" She asked with a chuckle as she handed him a bag for the cast before quickly shedding her robe and offering to help him into the shower. |
