Sage gave her a slight pout in response to her comment, though the kiss admittedly brought his grin back, like it always did. "Hey, I did more than just clean the house," he protested. He wriggled around when she poked him again, a laugh rising in his throat. It really only grew when the water came back at him and soaked his hair, sending it across his face. He let out a slight yelp of surprise before sitting up and attempting to move it off of where ti was sticking to his face, rather amused by the whole situation. "Well your skills in bed make up for it," he joked, curling up again when she wrapped her arms around him and grinning up at her. "Oh you're plenty lucky," he chirped. "Lucky enough to have those two wonderful kids."

The girl couldn't stop her slight snicker when the boy seemed to struggle, and admittedly had to move a little bit so that she didn't get splashed in the face. "Doesn't matter what you did! The house wasn't up to standards and therefore you get no treats," she scoffed to him in a more teasing manner. She wiped the watcher off his face with a happy grin and pecked the top of his nose. "You're not allowed to wriggle about like that! You're gonna flood the whole house, and we might never get to Christmas," she teased lightly. She then sort of cocked her head, pursing her lips playfully. "My skills in bed?" She asked with a laugh. "What skills," she chuckled before nodding in agreement... she was lucky. She never thought anything like this would happen, and yet it was... she couldn't be more grateful.

Sage sort of just chuckled lightly in response to her comment and gave her a grin out from under the hair she'd helped him move. "But I fixed it," he chirped with a slight giggle, humming happily when she pecked his nose. "Oh please, its tile flooring. I think it can handle a few drops of water," he mused lightly, though, he wanted to take care of the house too, so he did settle down a bit. "Besides, it was your fault," he whined. "You know that tickles!" At her questions though, he sort of just shrugged and grinned. "all of the skills," he chirped, though while he very much enjoyed bed, he wasn't exactly how to point them out. He'd said that before thinking. Which wasn't exacly uncommon. It was sort of amusing, he couldn't deny that.

Mari shook her head at him after a moment or two, sort of giving a chuckle. "I promised that if I came home and everything was in order then you might get luckly," she mused before pressing a light kiss to his cheek. "And absolutely nothing was in order now, was it?" She chuckled before gently pressing a light kiss to his lips.. "nope, the floor doesn't get wet! That means the house is gonna fall down," she huffed dramatically before giving a small chuckle. "That was exactly the point," she mused gently to the boy. She then rolled her eyes and pecked his lips playfully again. "All the skills," she sighed gently to the boy.

Sage chuckled lightly and shrugged. "I suppose I didn't do the best job at that," he hummed, chuckling lightly at her kiss. He fake pouted when she said the floor couldn't get wet, and huffed out, "it was your fault," in a sort of fake whine. They both knew he didn't really mind when she tickled him....if fact it could be quite enjoyable at most times. He gave her a goofy grin when she brought up the skills again and hummed happily in response to her kiss. "All the skills," he chirped again, in a sort of agreeing voice, before just curling in again. They stayed that way for a while, until the water had started to get cold, so they got out and changed into some nice, warm pajamas they didn't mind wearing the next day. He passed out the moment he managed to crawl onto the bed....the kids had definitely worn him out.

Mari sort of shook her head and went to curl up next to him. "You did a pretty awful job actually," she mused before getting up and chuckling him a towel... soon enough they got cozy and into bed, into the warm clothes that had been left on the radiator. She slipped into bed next to him, about to start chatting before getting comfortable in bed, though he was already flat out asleep. She smiled softly before kind of moving to wrap herself around him tightly to get a bit more comfortable with him. She murmured a night before getting to sleep herself after a little while.

Sage hadn't even moved when she slid into the bed, though when she wrapped herself around him, he sort of subconsciously shifted to curl into her a bit more, as he always did. She was warm and cozy. Not that he was cold under the covers and all, but still, it was just a comfort thing he supposed. Soon enough though, the sun had started to peek in through the wedges of the curtains at the window, and he sort of blinked blearily a few times before rolling over to bury his head in Maris chest and skip back off to sleep. If Silas and Liz werent waking them up yet, he was going to stay asleep. For as long as he possibly could. He was excited for Christmas, of course....but he was also still very, very tired. So sleep was preferred as of right then.

Mari gave a small smile when she felt him move, and went to curl up a little bit tighter around his side. They should get up and start making the kids a nice breakfast... maybe cinnamon and sugar. It would be nice. "Morning babeee," she hummed to him happily to the boy. "Come on, help me make some food," she hummed to him, pressing a light kiss to his cheeks. She slowly slipped out of the bed before putting a robe on and starting to get tea and some crepes on. Sage didn't have to wake up just yet... but she could make sure the fire was on so that it was cozy when they all came down.

Sage sort of grunted in response to her first comment, then groaned when she said to get up. "Already," he half groaned/half whined, but when she slipped out of bed it became that much colder where he was laying, so he sighed and lay there for a few seconds before dragging himself out of the bed, and into some warmer pajamas and his usual blanket before waddling downstairs. Mari was already in the kitchen, so as he passed by he pecked her on the side of the head and lingered there for a moment before deciding it was cold and he'd better start that fire now. So, he wandered into the living room to work at it until he had a nice blaze going and he could curl up where it was warm.

Mari smiled lightly when she saw Sage come down the stairs after her, and went to place the hot food in the living room so that Silas could pick at it while he was bouncing about... but with any hope

he'd still be asleep for another hour. It was still super early now, so they could chill out for a while. She make two hot chocolates for both her and Sage and went to place them on the granite outside the fireplace before kind of sitting on his hips lightly. "I'd suggest drinking your hot cholocate before the kids come storming in," she

mused to him before rolling to the side and handing him a mug happily.
