Sage chuckled lightly and rolled his eyes at her second comment, humming happily in response to her kiss. "That's definitely fair," he laughed. He hummed in thought, cocking his head slightly at her comment, eyes glittering when he noticed her blush. "hmmm....I suppose I could include any and all women in there," he mused lightly, leaning over to peck her lips and sort of sinking down with her. (It's short I gotta run)

(All good!) Mari hummed softly to him after a moment or two, and sort of gave him a little huff. "Well, not really. You can't call me small when I could literally pick you up and throw you," she chuckled to him, her eyes dancing around her features as she sort of examined him. Despite everything he'd gone through, everything he'd told her and more, he still managed to light up like this. To make everyone else smile for him, and to get a smile from someone else too. And despite what he'd say, she still thought he was one of the most gorgeous and genuine people she'd met. She grinned up at his peck, and sort of let herself settle beneath him. "I like that better," she chuckled lightly to him. "And you have to be one of the most perfect people I've ever come across," she hummed lightly to him.

Sage chuckled lightly and hummed lightly. "Well why don't you do that then," he mused lightly. Then he gave her a mischievous grin. "I might get off you if you toss me into bed," he half purred, not really sure why he was being so bold about all of this, but he supposed he didn't quite care. He hummed lightly and nodded in response to her comment and pecked her lips again. "well I can definitely agree with you there," he chirped. "Perfect, huh," he mused happily.

The girl seemed to grin when he did, her eyes bright and excitable. His smile seemed to be so infectious... or maybe she just hadn't seen it so bright in a while. He'd had to be so brave over the last few months, with her being gone and having to look after two kids and the horses... he'd done a good job, even if it had taken a toll on him. He definitely deserved to act a little childish. She hummed in thought before sort of sitting up a little bit. "Maybe later," she mused to him, seeing that she was actually struggling to get up with him ontop of her. She then nodded in agreement. "So, so perfect!" She chirped to him.

Sage chuckled lightly at her comments and shifted so she could sit up how she wanted to, though of course he flopped back down onto her lap again, Amber crawling over and curling up onto him, curling up between his shoulder blades happily. He chuckled lightly at the cat, then hummed lightly when he heard her speak up again. "I still think you're crazy for thinking that," he mused, honestly just teasing her a bit but of course, the self doubt did influence his words a little bit. Whatever, he felt too good to let himself crash now. He had the prospect of having a wonderful night. He didn't want to ruin that, for either him or Mari.

Mari kind of grinned when he flopped down on her again, and the slight weight of the cat added on top managed to make a slight wheeze escape her. She pouted at his slight disagreement, and pecked his lips lightly. "You are one of the most amazing people I've ever met," she mused to him lightly, finding the fact that he didn't really agree with her a little... funny. How was he not perfect? "And I think you're crazy for not agreeing! She added with a small chuckle. She wrapped her arms around his back and the cat again before letting out a breath.

Sage chuckled lightly when the girl grunted. "Ambers not that heavy," he teased her lightly, though he hummed happily at her kiss and shrugged in response to her comment, grinning up at her. "I'm definitely crazy," he agreed with a slight laugh. "Maybe that's why we get along so well," he joked happily, grunting when Amber shifted and kicked the back of his head. It didn't really hurt too much, but whatever. He supposed it was more surprise than anything. Soon enough though, it was nearing dinner time, and the smell from the kitchen was becoming quite hard to ignore. "when's food gonna be ready," he half whined, definitely starting to be hungry. Hopefully, it would be ready soon, and then he could spoil her a bit. He was looking forward to that.

The girl huffed out a breath at his comment and gave a little glare. "She is on top of you," she retorted with a small laugh. The girl sort of shook her head after a moment and sighed. "But Sage, I'm not crazy. Maybe I'm just a figment of your imagination, and that's why you think I'm so wonderful," she chuckled to him. She looked over to the kitchen in thought at his complaint and hummed gently. "I mean, probably about now," she hummed lightly to him. "Let me up we can go have a look," she chirped lightly to the boy.

Sage chuckled lightly at her comment. "I thought I was light enough for you to pick me up and throw me," he teased her with a sort of laugh. He hummed in response to her next comment, shaking his head. "No, you're definitely real," he mused. "My brain wouldn't be able to come up with something that good if you hadn't managed to be real and fix me all up," he noted, patting her leg gently before wrinklingb his nose. "If I get up I'll wake the cat," he whined, though he was really hungry, so he eventually moved to get off of Mari. Amber half fell off half jumped off his back with an indignant meow. "Sorry baby girl," he died, moving to school her up and then follow Mari into the kitchen

The girl gave a light chuckle, though it was sort of nice to hear... "Are you sure? You have a pretty imaginative brain in there," she joked before wandering into the kitchen happily. It did smell good... and she hoped it'd taste alright too. She pouted at her husband after a moment or two, though. "Oh, Sage. I wish you would talk to me with the same way you love that cat," she joked lightly to him. She pulled the duck out and set it on the table before going to get a few plates each. She cut it up quickly, giving Amber the left overs and dishing out a plate for Sage and giving him a grin. "Enjoy," she chirped before dishing her own feed up.
