Sage chuckled lightly and shook his head slightly. "it's completely fair," he mused lightly, pausing when she made the move to kiss him again. "I cleaned the house today," he added with a slight chuckle, really just joking around. This was already happening, but he could add the jokes in there anyway. He sort of just sunk into the bed comfortably, leaning into the hand still on his abdomen and tilting his head slightly to press against her other hand. And the kiss of course. He still had his arms wrapped around her, so he tightened his grip slightly too, more than happy to be here.

Mari kind of groaned at him and rolled her eyes. "Hmm," she huffed, going to peck his lips again. "I don't think so," she joked lightly. She then kind furrowed her brows and bit lip in a joking sort of way. "Oh, you cleaning up?" She teased with a bit of a grin, and sort of moved her hand to drop down a little bit onto him. "Such a turn on," she giggled lightly to him, sort of rolling her eyes again. Still, she moved to press a few lighter kisses to his lips before letting the last one get a little bit deeper.

Sage snorted slightly in response to her comments, giving her a sort of playful pout. "You promised," he whined, though he couldn't keep a straight face and wound up laughing part of his sentence out anyway. "You're awful," he huffed, though by then she'd gone back to kissing him, so he supposed things could be worse. He hadn't meant the comment of course....but it was still fun to joke around. He hummed happily when she ket her kisses deepen again, and sort of just melted into her, just really happy to be there. He'd missed this more than he'd let on. Or really more than he even knew.

The girl sort of pouted at him after a moment or two. "I promised you nothing," she mused to him lightly, and sort of propped her head up on her elbow as she howvered above him. At his little laugh, her smile seemed to light up, and pressed a few light kisses to the soft of his neck. "Am not. If anything you're awful," she hummed to him teasingly. "Making me do all this work," she joked to him, knowing full well that wasn't even part of the truth. She kind of flopped down on him after a moment, though kept her head propped just inches away from his.

Sage snorted lightly in response to her comment, though he had to wait to response until after her kisses had left his neck, since his attention had been completely scattered. "oh please, you enjoy this so called work," he huffed slightly amused. "I think that's rather a good thing," he teased lightly. "Besides, you get a nice warm bath after this so keep that in mind," he chuckled, leaning over to steal another kiss since she was just sitting there but was so close still.

Mari sort of pouted at him after a moment or two, and kind of shook her head. "No I don't!" She hummed into his neck with a small chuckle, though they both knew it was a complete lie. She liked the way he reacted to her, and it was fun anyway. She sort of ran her teeth over his skin and gave a small hum after a moment. "Fine. Will put in all this effort with a lovely warm bath in mind," she joked to him before going back to peck his lips and sitting up a tiny bit, gently resting her hands on his chest. She sort of went to trail her fingers around his more lean muscles after a moment, though. "With my lovely husband," she added with a grin.

Sage snorted in response to her comment again, though his thoughts scattered when she ran her teeth over his skin, sucking in a breath and then rolling his eyes at her comment as he gathered his thoughts again. "Please, that bath sounds lovely," he chuckled. "And you bet I'm joining you...it's warm," he giggled before humming happily at her touch, watching her with a sort of cocked head as she ran her hand along his torso. His blush was full force by then, but it felt good, and he had to admit the way she was looking at him was ...nice, to put it simply.

The girl sort of pouted after a moment or two after he sucked air in, and shrugged before sticking her face closer to his again. "Hm, you'd better. I'd be upset if you didn't join me," she cooed gently to him, and soon enough went to press a deeper kiss to his lips again, her hands going to entwine with his hair happily. She was really just giddy about everything, she supposed. Just glad to have some peace and quiet, because while she loved her children, she also loved her husband... and it was nice just to give him a bit of attention like this for a change.

Sage chuckled lightly and hummed in response to her comment. "well, you'd better bet I'm coming in if you're undressing me and getting me all cold out here," he teased lightly. Really, he wasn't cold ....this was a little bit different than just being cold. But he could tease all the same. He tugged her in closer when she moved in again, sort of just moving so he was moving into her touch...stretching out a little bit and tilting his head back to catch her lips better. And press into her hands a little bit too. He just wanted to feel as much of her as he could, so he could enjoy this.

The girl sort of scoffed at him after a moment, and kind of shook her head happily. "Please, look at the colour of you. There's no way in hell you're cold," she mused lightly, kind of rolling her hips forward to get a bit closer when he tugged her in. She kissed him happily after a moment or two and kind of chuckled lightly when he started to stretch out a little, and moved to run her lips along his neck happily. Her hands tightened in his hair a little when she felt hit grip close more, and eventually started to nibble the slightly softer areas of his skin.
