Sage hummed happily in response to her comments, more than happy to sink into the warm water and close his eyes. "You're welcome," he hummed lightly in response to her peck. He was tired, so he admittedly stayed that way for a bit before gesturing for her to lay down as he reached for the shampoo. He could wash her hair....he didn't mind. And if he got something in return, then that would of course be absolutely lovely. But he also enjoyed just taking care of her, so he was ok with all of this.

Mari sort of smiled at him after a moment or two, and went to lean back on him with a happy little hum when he told her to. She moved to gently run her hand up and down his leg. Soon enough. He started to wash her hair, she smiled to him after a moment or two before shaking her head. "You're too good for me," she mused lightly.

Sage chuckled slightly when she moved to lean against him and spoke up, giving her a slight grin. "I expect similar treatment later," he joked lightly, moving to rinse her hair off after a few minutes massaging her scalp and all. It didn't have to be that night....he knew she was tired, and so was he. But having her spoil him a little bit was nice. Maybe a back rub or something later on. He didn't really care, he supposed. He just liked taking care of her. Soon enough though, he pecked her forehead happily, having finished up, and leaned back against the wall with a sort of content sigh.

Mari sort of smiled to him when she felt his start to massage her hair, and went to rest her head back against his shoulder when he was done. "I've already given you similar treatement today," she mused gently before wrapping a arm softly around his. She drew in a deep breath before sighing. "But maybe I'll do something nice for you," she whispered to him after a moment or two. "Tomorrow, though..." she sighed before sort of closing her eyes and leaning back against him with a soft him.

Sage chuckled lightly in response to her comments, humming happily when she leaned against him. "I suppose the past few hours have been nice," he joked lightly. He hummed lightly in response to her next comment and curled up against her happily. The warm water was certainly nice, though he found himself practically falling asleep after a while, so he stirred slightly after a bit and sighed. "Why don't we get ready for bed, hm," he asked, sliding out from underneath her and helping her out of the tub, handing her the towel and drying himself off. They had a big day ahead of them...well maybe not super big, but the couple who had helped her were stopping by for a bit, and the kids were coming back from Edith's and all. So they should get to bed...it was late enough already.

Mari sort of groaned when he made a move to get up, but sighed and gave a nod. "I know, I know," she hummed, and went to grab the towel to dry off. She got changed and kind of waddled to bed, flopping down under the covers with a heavy breath. Sage soon joined her, his cool skin soothing under the the warm blankets. It had been a nice day. It was nice to see the kids so excited about everything, and she wanted to thank the people that saved her properly too... and see her mother and siblings. She sort of went to rest her head on Sages chest and gave a light hum. "I do love you sometimes," she mused quietly, giving a small but tired smile as she settled into him.

Sage dried off and got dressed quickly too, humming happily when she moved to lay against him, wrapping His arms around her happily and resting his head on hers so he could smell her. It definitely brought a certain kind of comfort to the whole thing. He chuckled lightly at her comment, though. "Only sometimes," he teased her lightly, settling down as he sort of tangled his legs up with hers. He was already drifting off though, so he pressed a kiss to hear head and hummed out a sleepy "I love you too," to her before letting his eyes droop shut as he passed out.

Mari hummed at his comments, though she was already falling asleep by then. It didn't take long for her to pass out, and the next morning she woke up a little bit later than normal. Sage was still there... often when she woke up later he was already up, so it was nice that he was still there. She sort of moved to rest a light hand on his cheek, her thumb trailing along his rougher skin gently. All she could think about was how lucky she was to have him still. She moved to press a light kiss to his lips, and gave a light kiss to his lips.

Sage stirred slightly when he felt her hand on his face, though he sort of only shifted to curl up against her tighter. His eyes fluttered open in response to her kiss though, and gave her a happy hum once she'd pulled back. It was sort of a good morning too, since he curled up again groggily after the kiss, not at all ready to move or get up. He left his head still though, mostly, since her hand was still resting there lightly, and the small movement of her thumb was comforting. Even if nothing was wrong, it was still just nice to have something like that. Because he did love her, so, so much....and he couldn't tell her how much he loved her, not with words, so he hoped she could tell.
