Mari sort of grinned at him after a moment and gave a light chuckle. "I take it you have a good nap, hm?" She asked with a small chuckle. She sort of moved her hand to the back of his neck and gave a small chuckle, her fingers running gently through his hair. "You can get them both to sleep just fine," she mused to him befote moving to press a soft kiss to the top of his head. "You just nap like a baby," she chuckled softly.

Sage chuckled lightly in response to her comment, nodding and giving her a sheepish grin. "it was quite nice," he agreed happily. "I do want to sleep tonight though," he mused lightly. He chuckled again at her other comment, humming happily in response to her peck. "only if I'm really tired," he protested with a slight chuckle. "Speaking of that, what time is it," he asked, sort of peering around at the clock. It was sort of getting late, he supposed....it was around eight or so.

Mari smiled lightly to the boy before shrugging softly. "You'll sleep, don't worry," she mused to him. She sort of pouted at him after a moment or two before shrugging. "I mean, it's hard for you not to sleep.... you know, we've had a pretty long day hun?" She mused softly, and eventually went to wrap her arms just over his side. "Its about eight now... if you let me go put the kids to sleep you can go get showered and in bed," she hummed softly.

Sage hummed lightly in response to her first comment, grinning slightly. "Sometimes I don't," he mused lightly. "I doubt that'll be a problem tonight though," he mused lightly. He hummed happily in response to her next comment and nodded with a yawn. "That sounds good to me," he hummed softly, patting her leg slightly before moving to get up, pecking her lips lightly before wandering up to the bathroom.

Mari smiled at his little peck, and moved to press a soft kiss to his cheek. "Off you go," she mused before getting up to go out the children to sleep... little Silas was already out cold, and she supposed that it was fair. The little guy had a busy couple days. She moved to tuck him in, and pecked his forehead before smiling quietly, the paddded over to Liz to put her to bed. It didn't take long, and soon enough she'd passed out in her own bed.

Sage had moved into the bathroom soon enough, after grabbing clothes and everything. He took a somewhat long shower, just sort of enjoying the warm water for a bit. By the time he got out though, Mari was already passed out in bed. He chuckled lightly and moved to get the blankets up and around her before sliding in and curling up as quietly as he could. He fell asleep pretty quickly....he was tired after all.

Mari sort of groaned when she felt the mattress move a little, but soon enough settled down with a small huff of breath. She slipped back off to sleep, at least until early the next morning, when she woke up with a small sigh when she felt the sun shining down on her face.

Sage chuckled slightly when he heard her groan, though he soon enough fell asleep, wrapped around her happily. He stayed that way for a while, so when she woke up he was still out cold. He supposed he was still exhausted from the last few days.

Mari let out a small groan after a moment or two before running her hands over her face. She needed to get up, she knew that, but she was so comfy... and really, where did she have to be? They'd worked so hard to make Christmas happen for her children, and it had... and it had been pretty comfortable, too. They didn't have anywhere they had to be... not for work or anything else. Not right now. She glanced at the clock, which showed it was about six in the morning. Okay, so they really didn't have anywhere to be right then. She sighed before settling back down under the thick covers, and went to get comfortable just next to him with a small sigh.

Sage sort of shifted slightly when Mari woke and then settled back down, though soon enough settled back down himself. He woke a few hours later, just rolling over to wrap his arms around her with a soft groan. He definitely did not want to get up.....the kids were still asleep, and that was good, because they'd had a long couple of days. It had been wonderful though, and he certainly wasn't going to complain. But for now....he just wanted to cuddle up with his wife and rest.
