Mari smiled lightly to him before shrugging. She looked over at the clock and sighed. "I want to go now," she hummed softly to him, though pressed a soft kiss to his chest. She groaned softly before moving to slip her hands up his shirt. "Let's go somewhere warm," she groaned softly to him.

Sage sort of hummed lightly at her peck and nodded at her comment, chuckling slightly. "alright," he hummed happily, snickering at her second comment and wriggling slightly when her cold hands slipped under his shirt. "That's more than alright with me," he laughed, pecking her forehead before rolling out of bed. The sooner they got going, the sooner they could get home and warm up, he figured.

Mari smiled before moving to run her nails up his back, then crawling out of bed. "Come on. I'm hungry and you're getting me dinner," she mused softly to him after a little while, kind of moving to press a light kiss to his cheek and going to chuck him a coat. She wandered off to find the doctor, and got a few extra bits and bobs he needed before settling down on the edge of the bed ready for him to get going.

Sage chuckled lightly in response to Maris comment, rolling his eyes but moving to get ready anyway, tossing his coat and things on and then packing up what they'd brought while Mari did.... whatever she was doing. He moved to say bye to the old man after a bit, and by the time he was able to wander back to Mari, it was maybe an hour later, since the doctor was still pretty worried about the whole thing, and was describing everything he needed to do in detail for a bit there. Soon enough though, he'd tacked up chaos and they were on their way out.

Mari smiled softly to him after a bit and climbed into the carriage carefully. She was excited to go out, but she looked over at Sage carefully after a moment. "You sure you want to go out?" She asked him after a moment. She did, but Sage had a really roughy few weeks... she didn't really want to make it feel any worse if he didn't want to. Plus, it was getting dark out and she didn't know if it would make him antsy at all.

Sage glanced over at Mari when she spoke up and he hummed lightly, nodding. "I'll be alright," he promised. "I want to spend some time with you." He shrugged slightly and gave her a grin. "As long as you don't abandon me somewhere Ill have a good time," he half joked. She wouldn't leave his side for a while, he figured...so it was mostly a joke. If she left him he be a bit nervous, but she wouldn't do that, so he figured it would all work out ok. Plus, the women who had grabbed him wouldn't be going to anything but the tavern sort of place.

Mari smiled lightly to him after a bit and moved to peck his cheek. "I'm going absolutely nowhere," she chuckled softly to him. "Except maybe the bathroom," she mused to him lightly. They passed a nice little Italian place after a bit and she piped up a little. "There, let's go there!" She chirped to him happily. It was nice little place. And there really shouldn't be any tavern type people. When Sage agreed, they stopped off and wandered into their seats happily. She peered at the menu for a little bit. "I'm going to the bathroom. If the waiter comes all and a lasagna," she hummed softly before standing up and patting his shoulder. "I won't be long," she promised him before padding away quickly, not really wanting to leave him alone for too long.

Sage chuckled lightly in response to her comment and nodded. "I think I can manage that," he mused happily, grinning excitedly and pulling into the place Mari had pointed out and settling chaos before wandering along inside with her. He nodded when she mentioned going to the bathroom and looked back at his menu. "Go ahead, I'll be alright," he chirped, focusing on reading while she was gone. He half started when the waiter came by, but he figured Mari would want water so he got their drinks and then food. Mari slid back in next to him a moment later, and he informed her that's he'd ordered once she'd settled down.

Mari came back after a little while, happy to sort of relax here until their drinks arrived... shortly after the drinks arrived, and then the food... it was a nice little place... simply lit with a few candles and a stove. It was pretty cute, and a bit romantic if she could admit it. She smiled to the waiter when their food came, and it didn't take long for them to eat when the food came. She hummed gently and went to finish, deciding that she'd have to try and replicate a meal for the kids. It seemed like something they'd like. It didn't take long for them to finish and be on their way, though. They arrived home shortly after, happy to be sound... she settled Sage down on the couch with a blanket and went to start running a bath while she got everything else ready, like the fire and making sure the house had warmed up enough. It didn't take long for her to call him up, though.

Sage grinned over at Mari when she came back, more than happy to just chat for a while as they waited for their drinks and then food. He had a great time, but he was happy to be home and warmed up too. He was going to help Mari get the fire going and everything, but she'd shooed him over to the couch, and he had to admit he wasn't exactly upset about it at all. Soon enough, though, he heard her calling him upstairs and slid it not he bathroom happily joining her in the warm water.
