Kai walked with her back to his room, sitting down on his bed. He stared off into the distance blankly until she said that. He looked up at her, eyes wide with hope, love and surprise. "Really?"

Camery stayed stood up for a moment, eyes still on the floor when he asked. She meant it. She loved him, and he was a king, it would be good for her own kingdom and more than anything she could stick two fingers up to Orianna just for that stupid comment of hers. God, she hated that woman. Above all, though, she really did love Kai. He needed a queen didn't he? Well, she wanted to be that for him. She looked up at him after a moment, still chewing on the inside of her lip. "Yeah, really," she murmured lightly, offering him a smile.

Malakai took her hands and pulled her into a kiss. "I love you," he whispered to her when he pulled away. "Wait, what about your parents?"

Camery took a step forwards and kissed him back, a small hum escaping her. She squeezed his hands gently, her gaze loving and eyes slightly glazed over. She loved him too. She wanted to do this... she wanted to spend her life with him, and love him in every way she could. She wanted him to know exactly how much she cared about him, and this... this was how. She shook her head when he mentioned her parents. "I'll talk to them. They can't say no if I tell them it's for the kingdom," she murmured softly, letting out a soft breath as she moved to perch on his lap.

Malakai smiled at her, holding her as she sat on his lap. "I can't wait to marry you," he murmured, kissing her.

Camry felt a grin split her face at her comment, and moved to wrap her arms around his side. "I mean, it might be a bit soon, and we should probably wait until things have calmed down a bit to tell anyone," she murmured, a small chuckle escaping her. She leaned in, and pecked his nose lightly. "But I can't wait either," she giggled excitedly. She was excited about it... if he'd have her, as his wife, she'd do everything she could to keep him happy. She'd never upset him the way she had before. She'd already go to the end for him and him alone. "And I mean, the way things are going between us... I'll end up pregnant sooner rather than later anyway," she mused playfully.

Kai smiled. "Of course. I still hafta propose anyway," he grinned. He intented on buying her a ring and taking her someplace special, and getting down on one knee. Even if she already knew it was happening, he still wanted to. Kai chuckled, realizing that she was right. "Yeah, I probably should start wearing protection again, huh," he smiled at her sheepishly. They were a bit young to have babies. He definitely wanted kids, but he didn't want to rush anything.

Camery grinned at him, her eyes light she didn't worry too much about a big proposal. She was just lucky that someone she loved wanted her back, and that they actually wanted to marry her. They wanted her as their queen. That... it was big. She raised a brow at him, her grin only growing. "Oh, so we're having special proposal, hm?" She asked with a bit of a chuckle. She supposed they should do it right. This wasn't some deal their parents had made when they were too young to even understand. This was a partnership between two people who really did care about eachorher, and that was more than she expected for herself. She sort of giggled at him, his sheepish smile making her cheeks flush up. He was beautiful. "Yeah, you definitely should," she chuckled. "Let's wait at very least until we get married," she mused lightly. Edited at January 27, 2025 05:14 PM by Belle

"Oh, of course, baby," he smiled, squeezing her hand and pecking her lips. He couldn't wait to marry her, he was so excited. He'd dreamed of this day since the day they first kissed. "Yeah, definitely. We're a bit young for kids," he agreed. "I'll stock up on some. I'll put some in the bedside table, should I put some in the shower? Just in case?" He teased lightly.

Camery grinned at him, his little peck making her cheeks flush up. So, that was it, then. A special proposal, a ring, probably, and she was getting married. Married to someone she loved, which she definitely didn't expect. Not so soon, anyway, but she wanted this. Him. She'd have to start going out with him and the likes, to make it clear. She giggled childishly when he mentioned putting some in the bedside table and the shower. "Definitely do that. Keep some on you, too. You never know," she chuckled playfully. Her brows punched together after a moment, though. "Are you sure you're slight? About this whole Orianna thing?" She asked quietly. She knew they were having a moment... but she had to ask.
