The girl nodded softly and pecked the side of his head after a moment. "We can figure something out. For now we just need to make sure he's fed and warm. He can stay down here for now," she told him and pecked his lips softly. "We can go to bed," she murmured to him softly before grabbing a bottle with some formula in it... they had some left from when Liz was weaning, so that mixed with some milk would last the lid until they found something better. She put it next to the crib before wrapping an arm around Sages side and sort of waddling upstairs, quickly changing before wrapping herself around him once they settled, soon enough passing out on the bed.

Sage hummed lightly and nodded in response to her comments, giving her a soft grin in response to her kisses. "I love you," he couldn't help but hum as she wrapped her arms around his side and gently tugged him upstairs. He changed quickly and took the meds he needed before crawling into bed and curling up with Mari happily, nesting his nose in the crook of her neck lightly with a soft sigh as he relaxed. Thanks to the medicine, the tension slowly drained out of his body as he slipped off into a rather deer sleep, which was honestly quite nice.

The girl smiled at his comment, though before she could do anything about it she'd found herself if a pretty deep sleep. She groaned and went to wrap her arms around him, just excited to get some rest. Though, not even and hour later, she found herself being woken up by the squealing of the baby down stairs. She tried to put off getting up, but wandered down stairs after a moment or teo, grabbing the bottle and pulling the little dude out of his bed, kind of going to sit down on the couch, cradling the child in her arms as she tried to get him to settle again.

Sage hadnt moved when Mari was first woken up, since the meds were still in his blood and all the rest. So, he didn't move when the baby started crying and Mari got up. He'd only taken half. A dose so he could wake up later for the kid if need be, but for now he was still out cold. Plus, he figured Mari wouldn't want them both up all night....so it seemed like the best decision to make, he'd thought. (Bit short)

The girl sat there for a while, just kind of bouncing the child once he stopped feeding. She didn't know why she was the one feeding the child, but she did know Sage needed to rest. She kind of rubbed her face, trying to wake up a little bit. She sighed when he finally dozed off, and moved to put him back in his crib, finally making her way up to bed after an hour and a half or so. She didn't want to wake Sage, so eventually settled down and moved to curl up silently.

Sage hadn't moved the entire time Mari had been up. Though, he woke a few hours later to the child starting to make noise again, so he forced himself up and out of bed to wander downstairs, make some formula, and settle down with the little guy with a tired sigh. It was very early in the morning, but by the time the baby slipped back off to sleep, the sun was coming up, so he moved back to bed, hoping to get at least a few more hours of sleep.

Mari kind of woke up when Sage did, kind of giving a groan in a way to express her slight annoyance of the movement, but settled back down when he came back. She really wasn't liking this. They only had two kids for a reason. Another one wasn't really in the cards, and she wasn't just going to pretend that she was happy with all of this... she wasn't. At all, really, but she wasn't horrible, and she was the last person to turn a baby as young as he was. Especially if it was Sages baby... but it didn't make her feel any better.

Sage sort of let a slight huff of air when he curled back up in bed. He could tell Mari wasn't too happy with being woken up by the baby, but he didn't know what else to do. Who else was going to raise the kid? He murmured some kind of apology to her, though by then he'd pretty much passed out again since he'd been up for a while. This was still all very confusing, and he was desperately trying not to think too hard about it all....he figured that would be better for his brain.

The girl slipped back off to sleep for a while, until Silas came padding into their room complaining that he was still tired. She sort of shook her head and moved to wrap her arms around him snuggly. She tried to convince the kid to go back to sleep, but he couldn't seem to find the sense in going to bed if he was tired. She sighed before going to get up to make him some breakfast, and some food for Liz too when she came down. By the time she'd settled them down, though, the boy in the corner started crying again, and all she could do was go and try and make him feel better.

Sage slept for a while longer, half waking when Silas came in, and then slipping back off soon enough. Though, when he woke up again, the boy and Mari were gone, so he figured everyone was already up and about....he noticed he could smell breakfast cooking, so he yawned after a bit and forced himself out of bed, wandering down to the kitchen and taking the baby from Mari, pecking her lips gently and humming good morning. "You take care of the kids. I can deal with the baby," he said tiredly.
