Mari slept comfortably for a while, just happy to get a bit of rest. It was warm, and she was more than comfortable here. She sighed as she woke up, though, figuring that should probably get dinner on. The kids had disappeared outside, along with Sage, so she figured she'd let them do their thing and try and entertain herself a while. She sighed and moved to star cooking something up... she wasn't sure what, but it was something. She'd been feeling awful about herself over the last few days, so just doing something that relaxed her for a while certainly helped her.

Sage went around taking care of all the horses for a while, letting them out in their paddocks to run around with eachother as they pleased before going to muck out stalls and clean up a bit, checking in on the kids every once in a while. They were happy to just play with little old brownie though, and by the time he was done with everything, it was nearly 4:30 so he went to wrangle them up and shoo them off to the house as he finished up some things and checked the horses one last time before wandering in and moving to the kitchen to greet Mari happilyand moving to help her set the table.

Mari sighed when Sage came in, but gave a little smile when he started to help out. "Horses all good?" She asked him lightly before starting to dish out the little mix of a meal and set them all down on the table, then called the kids down. She looked through to the sitting room after a moment before going to make sure the baby would be alright through dinner, then moved to plop herself down at the table carefully.

Sage hummed happily and nodded in response to Maris question. "They're as happy for the warm weather as I am," he noted with a chuckle. "I left them outside for now, so once it gets dark I'll have to bring them in but for now I'm just letting them screw around for a while," he hummed with a shrug. Once everything was ready and the kids and Amro were settled, he plopped down in his chair, more than happy to eat. He was hungry, he supposed ...he'd had breakfast a while ago, but had wound up skipping lunch...he'd gotten distracted with working on orders. Though, that wasn't exactly unusual for him, either.

Mari ate quietly before eventually going to clear everything up. She found this was a bit of a routine now. She didn't mind itC but there wasn't much else for her to do. She cooked, she cleaned, she made sure the kids were showered and in bed, the same as she occasionally had to do with Sage... but it wasn't bad. It was safe. But this was new. Having a baby there... it wasn't planned. It scared her, and she didn't like the way she was when she was scared. It was a bit weird. She cleared everything up quickly before helping the kids up to their beds.

Sage was more than happy to eat somewhat quickly, occasionally chatting with the kids as they ate. He took care of the baby while Mari got their kids to bed, and then moved to gather all the horses and put them back in their stalls for the night, since it was getting pretty dark by then. Then he made his way back to the house and up to the bathroom where he slipped into the shower quickly to wash up a bit. He was out soon enough, though, and then moved over to the bed where Mari was laying, hopping up and straddling her and using his hands to bounce her a little bit. He was just in a playful mood, he supposed, based off of his impulsive move to the girl. And the way he'd giggled about it.

Mari showered and climbed into bed quickly once she'd gotten the kids into bed. She needed the sleep. She'd been so tired recently... and she wasn't sure why. She kind of rolled onto her side, starting to drift off quietly. Well, she was until she felt her husband jump ontop of her, and sort of bounced on the mattress gently. She sort of furrowed her brows before giving him a little bit of a smile. "What are you doing," she asked him with a kind of tired chuckle, sort of moving to peck his lips tiredly before flopping back down.

Sage let out another sort of giggle in response to her reaction but gave her his normal crooked grin, eyes glittering mischievously. "Saying hello," he chirped lightly, giving her another gentle bounce and humming happily in response to her kiss before flopping over next to her with a huff of air. "I was bored and you were laying here and I could t help myself," he added with a chuckle, curling in happily. "I haven't given you a good tease lately," he mused, really just joking around. "I had to step my game up a bit." Maybe it was silly, being as old as he was and still having the urge of a little boy to mess with Mari sometimes. But...he wasn't that old, and he'd missed out on pretty much his whole childhood so, he figured he had an excuse.

The girl just kind of stared at him, eventually giving a small chuckle. "Well hey," she hummed to him lightly before going to peck his lips again. She gave a small chuckle. "Well, I'm glad I could quench your boredom. Am I meant to be your plaything now?" She asked with a bit of a chuckle. She sort of turned to face him with a small hum. "I don't deserve a good tease! I've done nothing to you," she huffed to him with a small chuckle, kind of going to wrap an arm around his side. "You never had any game to step up darling," she teased him lightly before moving to peck his lips again.

Sage chuckled lightly, humming happily in response to her peck, grin growing on his face as it always did when she kissed him. "What, you mean I can't have fun with my beautiful wife," he gasped in mock offense before laughing and nodding. "You always deserve a good tease, it means I love you," he snorted lightly, teasing the girl a bit. He gasped in mock offense at her last comment though, then gave her a rather devilish looking grin, looking up at her with a chuckle. "Well the game I have had obviously worked pretty well for me," he mused, referencing every intimate thing shed ever down to him or any time he'd flirted around and they'd wound up doing something.
