Sage sort of sighed and shook his head. "Only by blood," he murmured. "I wouldn't have treated him the same as our two we already have. It wouldn't be fair." He hummed softly and pecked her on the nose after her other comment though. "It's fine. Just forget about it now," he mused softly. He chuckled when she'd tugged him back to their room, of course following her happily and more than willingly. (Short I'm out tonight)

Mari just nodded to him. It didn't seem right that he would do that at all... but she wasn't going to argue after all of this. She sort of wandered over to the bed and flopped over, patting the bed next to her for him to come in... she didn't know why he didn't at least try to come in, she wasn't going to stop him from sleeping. She was exhausted anyway... so she soon drifted off to sleep after a mater of minutes.

Sage sort of just followed her back into the bedroom, crawling onto the bed happily and flopping down next to her with an exhausted huff of air. He wasted no time in curling up and around her, burying his face in her hair. It didn't take long at all for him to pass out...and it was definitely a welcome thing, since he hadn't been sleeping well. Or....at all. But it was all ok now, and while he still felt awful about dumping his son somewhere, everything else seemed to finally be getting better. Back to normal. He was just thankful for that.

Mari settled down quickly when Sage came in, quickly getting to sleep after a little while. She felt awful about all of this... she didn't want Sage to give up the baby just cause she wanted it. She didn't want it, but she did want to talk to him and work things out... figure out an arrangement other than sending the baby off to the doctors. Still, she rested as peacefully as she could, sort of as far away from him on the bed as she could be.

Sage was more than happy to pass out on the bed...of course, Mari had already fallen asleep so they hadn't exactly cuddled up a lot....but he was tired enough that it didn't really matter all that much. Once the initial stages of sleep wore off though, he'd rolled over to curl up and around Mari gently, like he always did. It sort of absentminded, since he was mostly still asleep, but he settled down quickly after that again, drifting off soon enough.

Mari slept for a long while... though woke up early the next day, face to face with Sage, her forehead lightly against his chest. She sort of blinked and moved to look up at him, suddenly feeling so awful about all of this. She started to draw small shapes on his chest until he woke up, when she finally moved to press a small kiss to his cheek. She didn't say anything... she still felt completely awful about all of this... but a bit angry, too, and she wouldn't quite stand why.

Sage stayed resting peacefully for a while, though soon stirred when he felt Mari sort of playing around on his chest. His eyes fluttered open for a moment to give her a sort of sleepy grin, humming quietly in response to her peck, pressing a rather sloppy kiss on her head. "Hey babe," he sort of mumbled, moving to curl up a bit more and settle down again, honestly still just tired (Gotta run lol)

The girl sort of furrowed his brows at his little comment, but cracked a smile anyway and moved to tuck her nose under his chin. "Hey," she whispered, her voice crackling slightly with sleep. He looked exhausted... and she only felt worse about all of this. She hated feeling so awful about... everything. She hated that she'd made him so angry. That she'd made him argue with her, and give his baby away. His baby. Man, if it was hers, she'd never give up her child. She felt awful for pushing him to do that. She wasn't sure what to do about any of it, really... other than try and tell him how awful she felt, but there wasn't really a way to do that.

Sage sort of just hummed lightly in response to her comment, tugging her in closer and settling down with a content huff of air, just very glad to be back with her. In his own bed, where he felt safe. And....part of him was relieved he'd made a decision about the baby. It was true....keeping him wouldn't work. He'd feel bad about either option so....it was better this way. At least they could go on like they'd used to. (Super short I'm crazy busy today.... sorry)

(Yeah dw!) Mari Sat there for a while before sitting up a little bit and running a hand over her face. "You hungry?" She asked quietly. She soon enough got a response and padded downstairs to get him some toast and tea. She set the tray down on the bedside table and moved to see Liz, who was calling her from her room. She sat with her for a while... just talking and playing with her hair. The little girl just sounded so confused about everything. It just made Mari feel even more guilty about the whole thing.
