Mari gave a small hum of a chuckle when he asked a question, pressing a final kiss to his lips before chuckling. "I dunno. Just giving you a bit of love," she mused quietly to him before sort of cocking any. "Want me to stop?" She mused to him with a bit of a chuckle. She was definitely feeling a bit perkier today... and it wasn't at all a bad thing. She glanced behind her to the clock were a moment or two, though, and sort of pursed her lips together. "Twelve. The kids still aren't up yet," she added quietly before sort of shrugging.

Sage hummed happily in response to her comment and then pouted up at her, hugging her a bit tighter. "No," he huffed in response to her question before grunting when she mentioned the time. "I can't say I'm not a bit glad about the fact that I can continue to lay here like a lump then," he mused with a sort of tired chuckle. He loved the kids, but he was definitely tired, and it was very nice to have them still asleep for a while. It wasn't often that happened, so he fully planned on taking advantage of it. "it's good to see you up and happy again," he added after a moment, pressing a rather sloppy kiss to the part of her chin he could reach.

Mari kind of flopped down on him again when she felt his arms tighten around her, and sort of just gave a bit of a chuckle in response to his comment. Her face kind of softened a little at his comment, though... she was never really unhappy or anything... but she certainly didn't feel the best. She sort of sighed and went to press another kiss to his lips, giving a bit of a pout. "Hunny I'm never not happy in this house but... I just needed a bit of time to myself, hm?" She tried to reason lightly before pecking his nose again. She kind of chuckled at his next comment, though. "That's right. You can lay here like a jump all you want," she mused to him., sort of poking his side. "And I'll sit here trying to get you to entertain me," she teased lightly.

Sage let out a sort of grunt when she flopped down on top of him, humming in response to her comment and nodding. "I know," he mused. "I'm just glad to see that you're more like yourself now that you got it," he noted with a fond note. He groaned in response to her next few comments, letting out a whine when she poked him and wriggling around slightly. "You're awful," he huffed, though obviously he wasn't at all upset with the girl. He moved to tighten his grip again though, wrapping his arms and legs around her and rolling over slightly to keep her nestled firmly in place. Hed let out a sort of mischievous giggle as he did so, then tucked his nose away again in her neck happily.

Mari smiled down at him lightly... it did take a little for her to calm down after these sorts of things, but it was probably because it never really happened. Hell, their last proper argument had been before they'd gotten married... and that wasn't really a proper one to be honest. It was just a bit of a spat, nothing much... she didn't even know if she would have counted it as an argument. And she didn't like being upset, so she definitely felt better now that everything had been put to rest. She pouted at him after a minute, though. "I'm not that awful, or you would-" she kind of got cut off when she was pulled over, though gave a bit of a laugh and sort of moved to rest her head ontop of his. "See, that's not fair," she chuckled to him.

Sage chuckled lightly on response to her comment. Well....really, it was more of a giggle, given the fact that it was so mischievous and he was honestly just enjoying messing around with her again. "It's completely fair," he chirped. "Oh please, you looove me," he giggled happily. He loosened his hold a bit after a moment, just resting comfortably with her. "What we're you wanting to do for our anniversary," he asked after a bit of time of silence.

Mari just sort of huffed at his comment and shook her head. "I don't know why I love you," she mused lightly to him after a moment or two, obviously just messing around. She knew exactly why she loved him, and really, the only thing she would have changed is the way he grew up... but if it was any different, then they might not have met the way they had, and she really didn't know what kind of life they would have now if they didn't meet. She sort of hummed at his next comment, thinking quietly. "I was wanting to go on a boat," she mused to him. "You know, like a proper little get away. I have some money saved up so we could do something really nice," she thought quietly to him. "Maybe a cruise. Or even just going somewhere warmer for a few days... I dunno, it was just something I was wanting to do," she chuckled after a moment.

Sage chuckled lightly in response to her comment, pulling back enough to grin over at her. "Yes you do," he snorted. "It's obviously my flawless looks," he joked lightly. He nestled back in the, nodding with a sort of hum in response to her comments about the boat. "Somewhere warm sounds wonderful to me," he laughed, thinking back to how cold he always got. "I'll keep that in mind," he hummed happily, nestling back in.

The girl pouted at him after a moment before shrugging. "You don't know that. I might just be using you. I haven't a clue what I'd be using you for, mind," she teased him softly before pecking his nose again. She was obviously just messing around... thag childish kind of spark still very much burning in her, and trying to make some fun out of something. Just to mess about a little bit. It was strange, but it had been such an adult few weeks... she just wanted to have a bit of a laugh, she supposed. She smiled at his agreement. She'd never actually been overseas or anything... or on a boat of any kind, but it might just be something fun to do. A new sort of experience. "I just want to go somewhere that's not here for a change," she mused lightly.

Sage shook his head in amusement and chuckled inr esponse to her comment, grinning up at her. "I don't have any kind of clue as to what you could possibly be using me for either," he noted with amusement. It was good to see her joking around again. Wanting to have some fun, do something other than just work work work all day long. It certainly made him feel better about the whole thing. He hummed lightly in response to her comment about getting away and nodd in agreement. "I think that would be nice," he agreed readily, more than happy to oblige her fantasies as best he could.
