Mari sort of rolled her eyes at him, but pressed a pretty deep kiss to his lips again. "Oh, shut up," she mused playfully to him before sort of shaking her head lightly. Soon enough, though, she hummed and kind of rocked her hips forward when he tugged her in. She sort of giving a type of whimper before sort of pressing herself into him again, slowly worrying her lips towards the softer spot just behind his ear, sort of working her hand to run just along the rim of his pants, sort of just waiting for him to allow her to move them.

Sage sort of just chuckeldy in repsonse to her comment and kiss, though as they moved forward and things progressed, he went from the teasing to probably giving her lots to tease him about, considering how loud he got. Though, she never seemed to be too mean about it. And he didn't honestly care all that much. By the time she'd moved to play around the rim of his pants, he was more than happy to press himself against her, giving her the go ahead to slide them off. He'd moved to sort of tug at the laces on her dress after that, more than ready to move on.

Mari felt a small grin cross her face when he got a bit louder, more than happy just to keep on going and sort of... messing around a little, she supposed. She grinned at his go ahead, chucking his pants to the side, and slipping the dress over her shoulders before settling down on him again. It didn't take long for things to progress, and soon enough they were laying in the bed, side by aside, seemingly pretty fast asleep.

Sage was more than happy to let Mari lead the way for a while longer, and by the time they'd finished up, it was around midnight or so....which wasn't too late, thankfully. He'd enjoyed their night, though, a lot....he had missed her, and this sort of just reaffirmed him that things were back to normal. Maybe even better than before, now that they knew how to handle an argument. But, he was tired, so he stopped his brain and told it to shut up rather quickly, more than happy to just drift off soon after snuggling under the blankets with Mari.

Mari smiled softly to him when she felt him curl in, and sort of turned to bury her face into his chest to cuddle up. She was happy, for the most part... they'd been comfortable. Safe, and it was something that seemed so important to her, especially after everything that had gone on recently. But they seemed good... a lot better than they'd been the last few weeks. It was a good thing, she knew that. Soon enough, though, her head quietened down, and she just found herself in a deep but really very comfortable sleep.

Sage stayed right where he was for a while, not waking until close to ten or so in the morning. He sort of stretched and glanced over at the clock before settling down again with a huff of air, curling up against Mari again. The kids hadn't come in yet, or rather hadn't knocked on the door, since he'd made sure to lock it last night....which meant they were still asleep, so he could stay here for a while longer. Which he was definitely going to do, since he was still rather sleepy. So, he sort of just tucked his nose into her hair again, sort of letting himself drift in and out of consciousness.

Mari sort of groaned when they finally woke up, she felt him move and sort of held him a bit tighter, another soft groan escaping her. "Just stay still," she whispered in a whiny sort of tone. She felt a little smile cross her face after a moment when he tucked his nose into her, though, and smiled softly before curling into him a bit more and pulling the blankets around them a bit tighter. It was quiet... so she took that it was still quite early in the morning. The kids weren't up yet, anyway.

Sage sort of grunted in agreement in response to her coment, though it was a rather quiet and lazy one....he had no intentions of moving about, not at that time. He sort of drifted in and out of consciousness for a while longer, in that sort of half awake, half asleep stage. Soon enough, he heard silas's door open and close, which earned a groan from him. "Silas is up," he sort of mumbled, not really willing to get up yet, but knowing they'd have to soon. He didn't move though....made no move to actually get up. Not quiet yet.

Mari sighed at his comment before sort of pecking his lips tiredly. It didn't take long before she heard Silas knocking on the door. She sort of groaned and went to put a robe on before unlocking the door for him. The kid poked his head through the door, and sort of ran over to their bed and flopped on Sage. Mari sort of stood at the door with a small huff of air before waddling back to the bed and flopping down with a heavy sigh.

Sage sort of just stayed where he was at, humming tiredly at her peck. Of course, when he heard the boy at the door, he sort of groaned but rolled over to throw on a pair of boxers. He'd curled back up under the covers, but by then Silas had jumped on top of him, which earned the boy a chuckle and pat on the back, as well as a tired "hey buddy," from his old man. Silas had started to babble by the time Mari had rejoined them, and he threw an amused glance at her before nodding along with whatever the boy was talking about.
