Mari flopped down on the bed with a happy sort of chuckle before moving to pat the child on the back tiredly. She still sort of had her eyes half closed before giving him a light smile. She didn't even really register what the kid was going on about, but she still couldn't stop the light smile. It didn't take long for her to hear Lizzies footsteps as she made her way over. She sort of crawled onto the bed and buried her way into the middle of them Mari grinned and sort of wrapped and arm around all of them, the two kids starting to chat between themselves, their little voices making her smile only grow bigger.

Sage half listened to Silas's chatter for a while....but he was mostly focused on Mari. Gosh, she looked good with that light smile on her face. It didn't even matter that her hair was crazy looking or the robe she was wearing was years old and looked like it had been well loved. The joy on her face that came about whenever she saw the kids was just on a whole other level. Godly, even. He certainly wouldn't be surprised if she admitted to being his guardian angel or something. It was an amusing thought, really. Soon enough Liz came in though, and once he was sure Silas was done talkign to him, he admittedly drifted off again, still quite happy about the night prior and this morning. It had all been so, so nice.

Mari sort of chuckled when she watched him fall asleep, and gave a happy little smile before sort of placing a hand over his side. She asked the kids to Shh a little so that he could sleep, and soon enough they all seemed to just drift off, Mari only really waking up when Liz poked her, saying that she was hungry. She nodded quietly before humming and moving to slowly crawl out of bed, going to make some sort of hot breakfast for the family.

Sage hadn't beena ware of much, though he woke up enough to realize everyone had sort of just slipped off again in one big pile. It was quite nice, really, so he drifted off again soon enough, Silas sprawled out on his chest by then. He hadn't noticed Mari and Liz get up, and Silas didn't move either, so the boy was obviously still asleep. He was never this still while he was awake, which was a sort of amusing thought.

Mari started to cook quietly, really still half asleep... but she managed some sausages and egg. She asked Liz to go wake her father and brother up, since they'd already wasted and the day... but it was alright to just relax for a while. Soon enough, though, they'd all finished up, Sage went out to do the horses and she was sat looking for somewhere to go for their anniversary... she wanted to go overseas somewhere, somewhere warm. There were loads of offers in the papers, but she'd have to talk to Sage when he got back in.

Sage had stayed where he was at until he felt Liz trying to crawl up on top of him and Silas. He sort of stirred and helped the girl up with a slight chuckle. Silas woke by then too, and was immediately up and about, so he shooed them downstairs and dressed before following them. He ate quickly and moved to get out to the barn, and was seemingly just in time, since snowball was working at popping out another foal for them. She'd done well every year....and the little grey filly she gave them this time was just as good as all the others. She'd probably grey out to a flea-bitten sort of color in a few years, but for now she was a darkish grey with a small strip down her face. He finished the rest of the work quickly, since by the time he'd made sure she and the foal were good, fed and watered all the horses, and let them out, it was getting later than normal. On his way out, one of the other mares had gone into labor as well ...which he'd been expecting but two foals in one day was a lot, and he was already messy and gross. Whatever....another foal meant more money. It was another nice filly, this one a deep black like her sire. So, by the time he got back into the house, he was nasty and covered in plenty of horse slime, but rather happy at how the day had gone.

Mari sat quietly in the couch, just working through each page as she came across them. She sort of cocked her head at the ruckus coming from the barn, but soon enough got dinner on. Just as she was finishing off, she heard Sage coming through the door, and turned to greet him with a kiss, but reclused at the sight of him. "Geeze, what happened to you," she asked with a bit of a laugh before shaking her head. "Go get showered then get your backside down here. Dinner is nearly ready," she chirped to hum before starting to finish everything off.

Sage sort of chuckled when Maris mood sort of changed as she took note of all the gunk on him, and he simply gave her a grin as he hopped past her. "Two fillies, that's what," he chirped happily. "Both perfect! No complications and they're pretty little things," he added before slipping into he bathroom and washing up quickly before just getting into pajamas and moving back down to eat quickly after that....he was admittedly rather hungry by then, as he'd missed lunch and helping horses give birth as well as all the other work wasn't exactly an easy task. But he enjoyed it, so he was definitely glad it had all worked out for them.

Mari chuckled as he skipped about... he definitely seemed happy now. It was certainly nice to see, that was for sure. And two fillies meant they could bring more money in, which settled a mind a little bit. When Sage got back, she set his plate now and called the kids for dinner. She plopped down across from him before shrugging. "I take it you had a good day then," she mused happily. She sort of then lit up a bit. "So, I saw a few advertisements in the papers today - some tips over seas - will you look at them with me later? I want to figure out what we're doing for our anniversary," she grinned happily.
