Sage plopped himself down at the table once he'd gotten back down to the kitchen and nodded happily in response to Maris comment, digging in pretty much as soon as everyone was settled there too. "Yeah," he chirped. "We got a little grey one and a black one," he added happily. He popped a big bite of food in his mouth but nodded eagerly when she mentioned the anniversary. He chewed and swallowed before chuckling. "I already have some ads hidden in the bedroom I thought would be nice,' he mused. "I'll grab them later."

Mari grinned, more than glad to see him so happy. "I'll come see them tomorrow," she mused softly to him. She then grinned at his next comment. "We can look through them all together later. All I want it somewhere warmer then here," she chuckled lightly to him. She was definitely excited... it had been on her bucket list for a long time now, and they were making more money now so... surely it could be a bit of a treat for the both of them. It didn't take long for her to finish up, though, and sort of went to clear up before settling the kids down for bed.

Sage chuckled lightly and nodded in agreement with her comment about the foals. It would be good to give them some time before bringing the family in to see them anyway. Though, he grunted in agreement with her other comment. "Warm is good," he mused lightly. He really did hate to not be warm. Soon enough though, dinner was done and cleaned up, and he moved to gather all the bits of papers and such he'd started collecting to look at over the past couple of weeks while Mari got the kids to bed, and moved downstairs to flop onto the couch, setting them on the table next to it and waited for Mari happily.

Mari sort of chuckled to him before shrugging. "Warm is very good," she replied happily. She settled the kids after a little bit, and sort of moved to press a lighter kiss to Sages cheek when she came down, and sort of plopped down next to him with a happy sort of smile. "Whatcha got?" She asked happily, a couple of the papers in her hand until she put them on the table.

Sage sort of hummed happily in repsonse to Mari when she appeared on the couch next to him. He scooted over to make room for her when she plopped down, before wrapping an arm around her side and curling in happily. "These were my top picks," he chirped, handing her three or four bits of paper, all of them little cabins on the beach, on small islands...so they'd get on a boat to get around but still had some privacy and such. And of course, plenty of attractions around them.

Mari grinned over at him when he sort of cuddled in, and moved to lean on him a little. She looked through them quietly, a little smile across her face. "I like this one," she chirped to him, pointing at a beachy spot, surrounded by forest and mountains. It was definitely pretty. She sort of smiled over to him, and sort of handed him one of the papers, that she'd liked most out of the ones she'd seen prior. "I liked this one, too," she chirped. It was a little hotel like place, so not as private but similarly on a more remote little island.

Sage sort of peered over her shoulder as she looked through the papers, nodding along in repsonse to her comments. "I like the first one better," he admitted. He wasn't a super big fan of the hotel set up....who knew who else would be there. So he preferred the cabin...plus then they had a kitchen to cook their own meals and things too. But he'd be happy with either or, he figured. It was their anniversary, after all. But the woods around the first one was nice too ....he liked that sort of land too. But ultimately it was up to Mari, and he was fine with that.

Mari sort of smiled to him and pecked his cheek. "We can do that then. It doesn't really make a difference to me," she hummed happily to him. She had to admit, somewhere more private did sound pretty nice. She kind of flopped down on the sofa quietly, giving a bit of a hum. "Anywhere with you would be amazing," she hummed gently to him, a bit of a smile across her face.

Sage chuckled slightly and rolled his eyes in response to her comments. "I just don't know how many people would be in the hotel," he mused with a shrug. though, at her next comment, he gave her a grin and peck on the lips before flopping down sort of in-between her and the couch cushions. "I agree," he declared happily, then chuckled and shrugged. "Though the warmth will be nice," he added lightly.

Mari grinned to him before moving to peck his nose happily. "Sage it's fine, I don't mind," she chuckled to him happily. Really... she just wanted to be with him for a little while. She didn't care where it was, just not here for a bit. Just a bit of a break from everything, she supposed. "The warmth is all I actually want right now," she chuckled lightly to him.
