Tyler went into his small cabin, collapsing and passing out in the bed. He was taxed, exhausted, utterly beat down. So he slept... till the sun was high in the sky

Abby woke at the first rays of sunlight peircing through thr leaves of the gant oak tree that she had persuaded her father to bury her Mother under. her father... was it a dream? she ran inside then noticed the car keys were gone. she silently checked the bedroom. gone. it wasn't a dream... she colapsed on the floor. and cried. she really needed a comfort. she ran into the barn and grabbed Titan, who had been restlessly pawing at the stall floor. "i'm going to run" she whispered. "and your coming with me." she clicked to him and he raised his leg so she could get on. she mounted and walked him through the open door. once outside, she trotted him towards the trail. she ne a cut through the woods that she had taken the first time she had run away. she would take it again now. it had taken too long to grab things she may need and the groom were wordlessly coming out to care for the horses. she silently said goodbye in her heart, watching for the small hole in the woods

Tyler got out of the bed, stretching and changing clothes. He went outside to check on Abby... and found she wasn't ther. Tyler started feeling a under laying feeling of dread. He ran into the barn. Titan was gone. Tyler started to panic. He asked the groom, "Have you seen Abby?" Anxiously. The groom answered, "Oh yeah she ran off into the woods about a minute ago". Tyler's eyes widened, he jumped on West bareback and galloped him out, racing into the woods. His eyes were filled with panic... what if she wasn't hurt, or had fallen off? What it Titan acted up? What if... she left for good and didn't ever want to ... see him again. What if she was mad at him!? The thought raced through his head as he urged his mount faster

she watched the woods carefully. "ahh here" she said as she turned Titan. he remembered this particular spot and tossed his head, refusing. she urged him on and he backed up, blocking the path. she heard the thundering of hooves and immediatly though of a rider who gallops down this trail early in the morning. she didn't want her last breath being trampled by a srangers horse, or Titan. she nudged him harder and pushed him.

Tyler brought West to a stop as he saw Abby. "Abby!" Tyler hosted, his eyes filled with panic. He jumped of his horse, running over to the girl

she jumped off Titan and immediately threw her arms around him. she began talking fast, her arms still around him. "i'm so sorry. i didn't know what i was doing. i thought it was a nightmare. it wasn't. i couldn't sleep in that house. there were to many bad memories and. i'm just so sorry." tears slowly crept down her cheek.

Tyler looked appalled. "Don't be sorry .. I understand. Really, its fine. I'm just glad you're safe." He breathed a sigh of relief, just glad she wasn't hurt. He knew how hard it was to have one parent abandon her and the other die... his mind flicked back to his childhood. Maybe that was the reason he wanted to help her so badly...

she looked down after pulling away. she wiped a stray tear off her face and grabbed Titan's mane which she had used as reins. then she looked at Tyler "why did you come looking for me?" she watched his dark eyes with her green-blue ones, her red hair catching the slight breeze. Titan's black and white mane caught it too, as well as his black tail with white at the base. she pet his chestnut roan tobiano body

"Well I couldn't just let you runoff!" Tyler's eyes widened sightly. "We should put these sweaty horses away though..." he looked at West who was... soaked. "Its cooler where we come from" Tyler Murmured.

she looked down then up at Tyler. she wordlessly turned to Titan and stroked his chestnut face, tracing the white badger pattern that avoided one eye and covered the second. his right eye was blue, the other one brown. she looked into his brown eye, placed her forehead against his and sighed. she placed her hand on his neck and walked him down the trail towards the barns
