Mari hummed softly to him, kind of giving hum and moving to flip down ontop of him with a small chuckle, and sort of pecked his lips. "Halfway there," she repeated softly to him before rolling off him and kind of moving to rest her head on his chest. "I can not even express how excited I am," she mused lightly to him, a tired yawn escaping her after a moment or two. She was excited, though, for sure. Excited, but now so, so tired.

Sage sort of chuckled when she flopped over on top of him, wrapping his arms around her snuggly and grinning up at her in response to her peck. He hummed softly when she flopped back down again and nodded in response to her comment about being excited. "me either,* he chuckled. "And I think we got chaos excited because he won't settle down," he half groaned, though in a quite fond manner. After all, chaos was pretty much his best friend. He'd been there for a while. A yawn broke his thoughts though, so he groaned and patted her back gently. "Let's eat something and get to bed....well have to be up and out early tomorrow anyway," he hummed, before moving to get up and grab some snacks and such from their beg and moving back to plop himself down on the bed again.

Mari sort of grinned up at him when he hugged onto her, and gave a little chuckle. "That horse gets us everywhere. And god knows that he's already been there," she mused lightly, more than happy that they had such a good animal to get them around. Something that was willing to travel what they did. She sort of nodded quietly to him and gave a small hum. "Yeah, lets go eat," she hummed softly to him, sort of sluggishly getting out of bed again. They'd be quick... then straight back to bed, ready for their early morning.

Sage chuckled lightly in response to her comment and grunted. "Anya mentioned that he came from overseas somewhere....so hopefully he'll be fine in the boat," he admitted with a slight frown. "I won't be able to be with him the whole time and Id hate for him to be scared down in the hold by himself." Though, he shook his head rather vigorously and huffed out a breath in response to her comment to shake himself of those thoughts before standing up. "Eat quick, then bed," he mused, moving to plop down at the table. They just brought some small things anyway....just a bit for overnight. So it wouldn't take too long. He was right, too, given the fact that the two of them were out cold in bed within another half an hour.

Mari smiled and moved to peck his cheek softly. "Hun, don't worry. He's a big boy, I'm sure he'll look after himself down there for a little bit," she mused softly, sitting down to eat, then conking out on the bed after a short while. It had been a fairly long, but ever growing excitement in the day, but even so she didn't take long to fall asleep. She slept until early the next morning, desperately wanting to get going, but also knowing that she'd have to wait another hour or so h til they needed to make their way down there.

Sage chuckled when Mari noted that chaos would be alright and nodded. "I hope so," he mused. He'd passed out soon enough, though, and was honestly quite thankful to do so. He really was exhausted....and it would help the time pass anyway. He didn't move when Mari woke up, he was still flat out asleep on the bed. Still tired, he supposed. He knew he'd want to sleep until the last minute. Well, the last minute he could, while leaving enough time to get packed up and put, of course. But still....he liked his sleep. They were up early as it were....so he'd get as much as he could.

Mari smiled softly to him as she watched him sleep, hating to wake him up but they really did need to get going. "Sage, babe, we need to get going," she whispered to him, then let him wake up in his own time before running to put their bags down stairs ready. Chaos would be loaded into holding before they could get one the boat, so they would need to be pretty quick about all of this. They needed to be there before everyone was ready to get on the boat, anyway.

Sage sort of groaned and buried in face in the pillows when Mari spoke up, though he knew she was right, so he lay there for another ten or fifteen ish minutes before rolling over to force himself to get up and get ready. It didn't take long, as they'd planned on eating breakfast after they got to their room on the boat, so all they had to do was clean up dinner from the night before and bring their stuff back down. Mari loaded them up while he grabbed chaos and hooked him up to the wagon, and soon enough they were headed off to the dock. He did hope the stallion would be alright down in the hold....he hated to think that he might be too nervous. Or that he'd be too high strung to manage for some of the staff. He pushed the thoughts away though as they got to the boat...he was too excited to dampen his mood too much.

Mari padded along next to Sage, eyes wide as she looked around... she was literally buzzing at this point, just excited to do something... different. They'd arrive the next day, then have a few days on the island before returning the same way. It was a trip for sure, but it would be fun. She watched one of the staff take Chaos, and the animal was obviously a bit stressed out, but she was sure he'd settle soon enough. She pecked Sages cheek after a moment and gave a little smile. "I'm sure he'll be fine," she promised him lightly. Soon enough, though, they were making their way up the ramp onto the boat, soon enough going to find their way into their cabin.
